theoniongirl, I can’t quote either, but no, I can’t see Rumple being happy. maybe some makeshift pretense at trying to be happy, the same way Emma will try to be happy even though it would take her forever to ever open up again to anyone ever again, because the one man she loved was gone again and again, so yeah, she CAN be happy with Henry, but I doubt she’ll ever marry anyone other than Neal.
but all that don’t matter since Neal is gonna be back pretty soon, and they will have a splashy wedding 🙂
get out people! gettouta the tent of doom already[adrotate group="5"]so…. when they bring Neal back, and I start watching this show again, I just need to know if Gold had it always in his plan to bring him back, because it’s the only way I’d believe him being able to breathe after losing Neal.
so basically I am asking are these next episodes watchable, or is Gold totally ooc and being all “Rumbelle” and everything *roll eyes* cause I CERTAINLY don’t want any rumbelle while he is supposed to be inconsolably broken about Bae
*unless* his plan was always to bring Bae back, so then it’d be OK.
so let me know before I go watch any of it K?if they had to write the story around the actor having to leave the show….
then we now have a story about characters who never catch a break EVER. I’m talking about Emma and Rumple and Neal. they have all suffered since they were born (ok, so Neal’s suffering started at 14. no, actually his mother abandoned him at 5) they never have a moment of peace, except for short lived moments (the shortest being Gold’s happy moment which lasted about three hours before all hell broke loose again)
so basically if these characters are to lose Neal forever because the actor wanted out, well, here we are.
*sigh*
I am sick of people telling me that Gold should be able to find happiness after this, because he can’t. not ever.
and stop saying “oh how can you say that? what about other parents who lost their children?’ because first of all, these parents are NEVER HAPPY in real life ever EVER, and second this Papa/Bae relationship goes a lot deeper than a parent losing a child.
say if Emma and Regina and Neal lose Henry. they’d be terribly devastated. especially Regina who raised him, so Regina (being Regina) would probably want to kill herself, but even SHE would be able to have some semblance of a life and even a kind of semi-happiness with proper mourning and receiving support from Emma, Neal, Snow and even Robin Hood. but not Gold. never. if they keep that kid dead, they might as well write Gold off the show too, because no happiness will be in character for him, none will be believable. it would just be frustrating to see because it would make zero sense for this character and people would start hating Gold (well *I* would start hating him)

see, one of the reasons i read the hunger games and almost instantly forgot the story is because it was just a big tragedy. o of course it fits that Prim died. she was THE WHOLE REASON for Katniss’ existence! she is the reason katniss volunteered. but her death was fitting because the story was tragic. the ending was very sad, peeta and katniss will never be fully happy, but their children will have a chance at hapinesss. post apocalyptic and everything
prim was the reason Katniss wanted to stay alive.ok whatever.
I had my fill of ouat obsessin for today. tragic tragedies sad sad storiesJanet, I am the biggest fan of Rumple, and let me tell you:if he never came back, or if he was only seen in flashbacks, I would still love this show. its not the fact that they made him die. its the fact that his story was never told. Gold’s story was complete, even Hook’s story was complete. Neal’s was only beginning
