And btw for those who claim that Neal is not the main part of the srory…. Yes he is! He is the story. And he is the character MOST deserving of a happy ending.
The story happened because of him. All because of him. So even though you might look at Neal and Emma’s story as nothing but a made for tv real life drama about losing loved ones but bouncing back, Rumpelstiltskin is not a real life drama.
He is very very fairytale. In terms of doing EVERYTHING in his power to protect his child, (even before that child was born) & spending centuries, not decades, centuries looking for him and manipulating events so that he will have a CHANCE AT HAPPINESS. This is not a real life drama story. This is an epic tale which can only end well if that child has a chance at happiness. EVEN if his chance at happiness is a real life drama one (like bouncing back after losing his father, Gold, for example)
Actually, no, pom. This is not a story about real life drama. Ouat from 101 till 315 was a beautiful story. It was definitely about hope and happy endings. That is why I loved it. But now, all the characters will be ooc just so that ON SCREEN it will look like they are actually “happy”.
This story never made any logical sense, but I still always LOVED it because it made emotional sense and poetic sense, maybe.
You know what it is? Now it is nothing but a pretty people with good acting skills show. It is no longer a story with any sort of substance. It is a who can be more entertaining on screen contest, where the winner gets to live and some how, totally ooc to the original character, will have a “happy ending”. Not a believable one of course, but one that will look good on screen.
This is a tragic story. If the writers don’t keep it tragic, than this is nonsense.
And yes, the ONLY possible conclusion to a tragety of this magnitute is that all the characters, ESPECIALLY Gold/Rumple will suffer. It’s the only conclusion that makes emotional sense or poetic sense. Heck, its the only conclusion that even makes logical sense.
There is NO WAY that anyone will ever believe in a rumbelle happy ending. Such a thing is not possible in this story.

The only way I will ever catch up on any new episodes (i haven’t watched any since quiet minds, and I want to unwatch that episode so badly) so the only way I would ever consider going back to this story is if they treat it like the tragedy it IS and not try to pretend that this story is about hope and happy endings.
If this is the direction that this story is taking, then the next step would be to force Gold to kill Henry in front of Regina, have snowing try to save Henry only to get themselves killed, have Regina kill herself (i would’t mind a heartbreaking scene of Emma crying over Regina) Zelena can force Gold to kill Belle as well
They can have gold lose more and more weight untill he looks like a skeleton, trying to starve himself to death. But the dark one can’t die, he will remain, forever a slave to darkness.This is the only end fitting to the ‘bold’ story they have decided to tell by killing the one character MOST deserving of a happy ever afer ending. A bold and tragic story.

I don’t know what garbage they showed last night, and as long as we think bae may really be dead, who really cares?Are any of you still interested in anything about this show anymore?
It fascinates me how the writers preceive their audience. They say the hell with the storyline, our airhead audience just want to see pretty faces kiss with ” chemistry” on screen.
After all, its TV not lierature or poetry, just TV made for dounces who just want hot chemistry, whatever that even means
I, I am TRULY not interested in this show anymore, but you, even if you still are, I say boycott crappy storylines. Boycott it! Why are you still watching a story that has no substance?
Why is anyone with a brain still interested in a story about FUTILITY AND HOPELESSNESS? we already have real life for that. Just walk into any hospital for the terminally ill…
poor RG do you HAVE to do this? if I were you I’d just quit all of this. who needs it? I already quit the show, I might quit the forums eventually when I wouldn’t know what anyone is talking about because I wont know the story.

it’s so funny how attached I used to be to ouat… lol I come to these forums everytime I have a minute because I am so used to it. heh. I have no where else to go. I have to get back into outlander. maybe it’s just in time, the book is due to come out in June… I have to wait for it, maybe I might as well reread some earlier books again…
I can’t believe how attached I used to be to this tv show. but it DID have a lot of potentialsigh
maybe in a few weeks I will check on the show’s progress just to see how they brought Neal back. and after they do bring him back I will watch again maybe. if it’s a GOOD resurrection story.
A&E never disappointed me before, so part of me still hopes for a good story of Neal’s return, but as it stands now… hmm
if MRJ rally wanted to leave, why not just put another actor like by Robin Hood?
