look, we will never appreciate how far he’s come if we don’t see what the Dark One really is. all the denizens of the land were running to the Dark One for help with all kinds of maladies, from stupid little ones, like going to a ball, to major one’s like someone’s life is in danger (“you’re the Dark One, do something” is a line we hear a lot) this is NOT what the dark one is supposed to be! people should be to terrified to go to the dark one to ask for favors.
the denizens of the land got too used to expecting the dark one to HELP! they got too comfortable with this most evil of evils, the worst DARK curse to ever exist.

(they ask for help, knowing they will be using DARK magic, but dark seems to be almost light. there’s no difference between good magic and dark magic anymore. both gets them what they want and what they want is usually good.)

Gold is just too good to be an evil dark wizard. if we are to appreciate what Gold had to struggle with, we need to see a real dark one. the only way to see a dark one in action is to get rid of gold. so now, weather he is dead or alive, he will have no control over the dark curse, and he will fully be the dark one. (something Belle assured us in a scene in neverland that he wasn’t, that he never really became) now that we will see the full power of evil, we might be able to appreciate when he ever DOES come back to himself, how far he had come to overcome this dark curse

“I’ve come too far for this, for them”

Oh I disagree! Pan is really THE most powerful magic-wise than any other. even Rumple had no power over him. Emma and Regina were powerless in front of him. He would win Jafar and Rumpel together if they joined forces against him. all he had to do was believe that he will win, and he did. he was unstoppable. he used ANY and EVERY means to win
the ONLY reason he was able to be defeated in the end is because he himself believed that the only way for him to die is for Rumpelstiltskin to die also, and since he did, Pan had no power to stop it anymore. but seriously…. he’s “someone we ALL should fear”
Pan took magic to a level that none of the other characters ever did

for some reason, RobinHood’s cheaty magic bow comes to mind…. so snow has no chance against THAT.
can we do wonderland? how about Jafar VS Rumpelstiltskin?

no loopholes, guys, no loopholes *sigh*
he’s a lawyer. he’s been looking for loopholes so he wouldn’t have to die… the squid ink… pandoras box…. the town line… the cuff…. but none worked: Pan always won. so now there are no loop holes

IF the thing she realized has to do with bringing Gold back, I bet the thing she realized was mostly that there was a huge amount of light. I bet she read that in a book before, that if light emanates from someone’s body it must mean something

but the wording “epic clash with Pan” sounds more like she has realized something not about his death, but about his life…. WHAT has my man been up to? she probably wonders about this, especially since she now knows that Pan was his father AND that pan kept Baelfire in neverland for many years, AND that he kept putting wedges between father and son…? or maybe Pan was the guy who’d TAKE children away from their families, while Gold would try to bring them home? (something to do with that sheep’s skin that would fly and save the children in “Skin Deep”) he did save all the children from the Ogre wars… Maybe THIS is the important exchange that Bae will tell Belle, and she will connect it to something Gold told HER or something Pan did or said and then she will wonder about that EPIC CLASH

You know what would be funny if that Lumiere tells Belle what happened to Gaston :)

Oh nothing really happened to him. He felt like a rose for a couple of hours, heard how Belle didn’t really love him at all, and probably turned back and set free. he did it for that exact propose. to have Gaston hear WHY Belle sacrificed herself for her people, and how she felt about her “betrothed” it was a clever little move 🙂

Yeah, the shadow re-entered Gold as he gave him the dagger….

Maybe it’s the fact that he didn’t scream in pain? If he stabbed himself, which he did, he would have felt something. Maybe Belle thinks that because he didn’t express any pain that his act of sacrifice protected him and that he actually wasn’t killed, but sent somewhere?

well he did show some pain, I think he restrained himself so not to hurt his family who was watching….

Pan: Look at you all. A captive audience. I could play with you like a pack of dogs, couldn’t I? I think I’ll start with these two. (Walks over to Belle and Neal) Hmm. You both look so adorable. Hard to tell who to kill first. (Shifts his gaze between both of them) No, it isn’t. (Points to Neal) You. You first.
(From behind, Mr. Gold clamps a hand on Pan’s left shoulder and tugs him away from Belle and Neal.)
Mr. Gold: Stay away from them.

Like a pack of DOLLS, not dogs, dolls

Can you give us a hint as to what Belle’s “plan” might be on Once Upon a Time? –Intarr
Belle’s plan to get the definitive 411 on Rumple is sparked by something she has come to realize about her man’s epic clash with Pan.

OK, 411 on Rumple means that she will find out if he’s really dead, where is he? or where is his body? or does 411 mean that she will try to find out what he’s been up to all these years while spinning and plotting. what was his big plan? WHAT has this guy been UP to?
