ParticipantHead canon accepted.
I always loved the funny relationship between Gold and Swan. “I like you Miss Swan” – Gold (in the price of gold) “I’d rather have you on my side”

ParticipantI’d cut that horrible scene in the season 2 finale where Gold is about to kill Henry. totally out of place and not in character. UNLESS his fortune telling powers foretold him that Henry would become a Peter Pan and could be a danger to the whole family

ParticipantHey hello DB! can I call you DB? alright, *rubs hands together* when is the showdown with the watcher? I want to watchit

Participantis Rumpel filming anything since that creepy ‘raised from the dead suit standing next to WWW dagger’ thing?
Marty McFly
Participantit’s so cold that I will never ship snowing ever again, but swanFIRE….

Participantthey buried Milah at sea. Maybe Ariel found her and saved her. maybe she’s really not dead. maybe she brings Milah back to Hook?

Participantif the reversed death that they were talking about is Mr. Gold, then it makes no sense. they can’t just use a flimsy shadow trick to bring him back.
IF he was just killed suddenly or died in an accident, fine. I see how they can reverse it like that.
but he didn’t just die by accident. he spent an entire half season (plus a good part of season2) explaining how he has to die in order to save Henry. how the only way to defeat pan is by him losing his life. and then he goes and does it in front of a “captive audience”.
the writers will have to be very careful in how they bring him back (if they do) because if they aren’t careful, they will be killing a good character. (you know, the character assassination thing) because it would be like “hey guys, I didn’t really sacrifice my life for you, I was just being dramatic” I don’t know, it will just ruin the story sort of.
now if they want to use the fact that he used the dagger rather than a fireball to kill them both, Gold could have inadvertently caused some ancient dark magic to happen where paying the price for becoming the dark one in the first place could play a part.
and this wouldn’t be his fault really. I mean, he had no magic, after all, so he couldn’t use a fireball to kill them both (this was prolly his original plan, while in neverland).Marty McFly
ParticipantIt would be some decent story telling even, a twist of the interesting kind. Magic comes with a price, as we know. And it would be some irony, if counteracting the evil Pan created or made use of, and counteracting the Dark curse Pan adapted to his wishes, a curse Regina made use of, put together by Rumple, would contribute to unleashing a new formidable evil, attacking especially Regina (and maybe Rumple as well). Good creating evil creating good creating evil.
wow I’m speechless. you should be writing for the show

ParticipantHa I am Rumpelstiltskin. I’m not surprised

ParticipantThis is an idea that just came to me, but what if the story Hook told Bae is both true and not true.
NOT TRUE: Killian and Liam’s biological father did not abandon them. They lived a normal life, a Navy family. Killian and Liam grew up loved and protected and their father probably died of natural causes.
TRUE: The pirate Blackbeard became a father figure to Pirate Killian after events of 305. He taught Killian how to be a proper pirate but then they had a major falling out and Blackbeard abandoned Killian. So in a way his “father” abandoned him and that’s the story he told Baelfire. He just elaborated a bit (about the age of abandonment) in order to win Bae’s sympathy.
oooh I like this theory!!!!! you know what? since the episode IS called the Jolly Roger, and not the Jewel Realm or whatever it was called before, than it MUST be AFTER Liam died. it MUST be after Pirate Killian Jones was a pirate and was learning from Papa Blackbeard how to own the seas
