In 3×6, Hook told Emma he’d seen the look of despair in the eyes of the Lost Boys, because they’d be left alone.
yeah he never mentioned that he recognized that look because HE was left alone, but because the lost boys had that look and he spent centuries in neverland

Well, Hook told Baelfire he knew what it felt like to be abandoned because his father had left him. We’ll soon see if Hook was telling the truth or not. I think he was, even if his intention was just to wheedle information out of Baelfire about how to kill Rumplestiltskin.
does anyone consider that fact that maybe Hook was lying to Bae, so that Bae should open up and tell him what he wanted to know…. you know, how to KILL RUMPELSTILTSKIN?
even while watching this episode I was doubtful that Hook was actually telling a true story… it was obviously a coax.season 1: same as RG

If there’s to be a death of a character, I truly HOPE that it will be meaningful like CORA’s death.
I don’t know if anyone realized just how beautiful Cora’s death was written! the same candle she used to try and corrupt Snow, was used to kill her OH oh oh My Favorite character of all was Cora and her death was SO FITTING!!!! SSOOOO good!I was reminded last night of this blind spoiler from a month or so ago about some character on a show that is NOT “Beauty and the Beast” losing his/her memory that would affect his/her relationships…….. Unfortunately, that sounds like Gold. It could be part of the reason why Belle looks so upset in those photos……..How on earth would she help him regain his memories (on top of the fact that he’s probably being controlled)? The only thing is, if he doesn’t remember Belle at all, why is he looking at her so intently? Maybe he thinks he should know her, but can’t quite place her?
you know, this actually DID cross my mind, that he might not remember anything, but I dropped that thought because it would be very repetitive. unless he is really dead still and is only walking/talking because he is held together by dark one’s dark magic.
imagine the horror Belle would feel if she tries to break his curse with true love’s kiss and realizes that he has no pulse. ouch. *weeeeep*
I think that the way they wrote Rumpelstiltskin’s story is so tragic and horrific that I wouldn’t put it past them to make it even worse.ugh you’re right I’d hate to see zombie Gold, but maybe the savior Emma coupled with the black fairy’s wand which has the ability to *move spirits* could somehow bring Gold’s spirit back into the body of the dark one? maybe a return from death is only possible because a dark one has different laws?

Maybe 20 pages back or so Phee made a comment about how she really needs a flashback of Emma taking the car into a shop and having the mechanic tell her that the car was too old to repair and she was better off without it. And Emma told the mechanic “do whatever it takes. Whatever the cost. I’m keeping my car.”
That car is so old and probably not in the best condition. Yet Emma took time and money and made sure it stayed in good condition.

you know what? Emma and Rumpel have a lot in common. she also keeps stuff for sentimental reasons…
(not to mention that he recognized her soul as desperate in “desperate souls”)but I have beef with Neal: he tells Emma that there isn’t a lot that he remembers from his father that doesn’t suck. REALLY? you had 14 years with your father who loved you and sacrificed EVERYTHING for you and a few months as the dark one (he became that for YOU, ok?) made you forget all that? now everything you lived with your dad sucked? you were almost 15 years old when you left home, so why can’t you remember happy days with your Papa?

Emma and Neal relationship is VERY similar to Rumpel and Bae relationship. I can think of a few things Bae can apologize for, but Rumpel doesn’t think Bae has to apologize for anything ever. I can think of a few things Emma could apologize for but Neal doesn’t think she needs to.
Rumpel abandoned Bae and can never forgive himself, and doesn’t expect Bae to ever forgive him. Neal abandoned Emma and he never forgave himself and doesn’t expect Emma to ever forgive him
I think that before Neal can ever be happy with Emma he needs to resolve ALL THOSE ISSUES with his father first.
I sort of am intrigued by this as well, though I don’t quite kow what it would mean. I’d like to believe the golden light indicated that Gold’s sacrifice redeemed/saved him/broke his curse (whatever). Maybe the only way he could be saved truly is to be reborn again elsewhere? If he was undone, even if it was just the DO, then he’d have to sort of find himself again? Maybe Gold has been living on his own for that year and he only just recently encountered WW? Why is he still wearing his suit? Maybe he was put under some sort of spell for most of that year, sort of like cryogenics? I mean, if he hasn’t had access to a razor and a place to change clothes, why does he not have a beard? Being frozen would account for this… though that wouldn’t explain why anyone/WW would freeze a man who doesn’t seem to belong in that land
yeah, THIS is what is off with this image: he looks like he’s been to hell and back with those rumpeled clothes, but he doesn’t even have a beard! so maybe I was right, maybe he was dead and was just recently dug up by this WWW to do her bidding…

if he was only frozen, then his suit would look the same as it did when he stabbed himself with malcolm
