I MUST see that ogre war where he saves all the children. last night I read a script of “skin deep” where a lot of it was cut off, and it had a part where Belle asks him about a gold sheep and he tells her that this fleece saves all the children, so there must be something big about him and his story and saving children from evil parents or from evil dukes

How do I know? The same way you and everyone else who is speculating he went into the dagger knows………I don’t. We’re all speculating. You read the quote one way and I read it another; we won’t actually know until we see it on screen. It’s interesting, but I’ve never seen that speculated anywhere else, so it’s not like it’s a universal theory…..and why would he go to Oz? Why would he go anywhere? What bugs me is that he disappeared probably to keep Rumbelle apart – a total plot device.
I’m still in the camp that the price for Rumple coming back is that he loses his Dark One powers. but probably just has standard magic. good magic.
I think that’s a price he is clearly willing to pay – in fact he was willing to pay with his life….,but if that was the only price, losing his DO powers, why did he disappear? He should have been redeemed and saved by his actions and instead he’s torn apart froml his loved ones? That’s a punishment, not a reward.
I know, betsy, but unfortunately, until the end of this show Rumpel will keep getting punished instead of rewarded.
you see, his undoing, HIS undoing, is that he isn’t good, great Rumpel anymore. HE was undone. now he is the dark one, someone he never really fully became, even in his worst days.Sorry I just can’t figure out how to properly post a picture from my iPad photos. I enlarged a portion of this set photo to concentrate on the dagger.
To me, it seems the portion of the dagger which must have penetrated Rumple is still shiny, but the part that killed his father has rusted or is bloodstained. Possible it’s just shadows playing tricks. But to me, it tells a story that I can’t figure out.
And dont ya just wish Gold was holding Pandora’s box right now?

So Rumple didn’t really die? He just got trapped inside the dagger?
This is so confusing because Eddy told Mega Buzz, “he’s really died, but he’s not totally dead.” I have no idea what that means
But a lot of us now think that the dagger went HOME to Oz when Rumple sacrificed himself.
Eddy did not tell megabuzz that hes not totally dead. His exact words were: he’s definitely dead he went into that knife it looks like death to me but he is the dark one. Thats what he said. Hes definitely dead but hes the dark one all those other words were said by the megabuzz author
why would she wake Rumpel from the dead if she was already the dark one herself? obviously she still needs him which means he’s the one with the power. the only question is, is he still Rumpelstiltskin, or is he only the dark one? is the part of him that was Gold/Rumpel still alive? even after Eddy said that he’s definitely dead?
yeah it would make most sense if his name did disappear, so how would the WW get it back on the dagger? does he still have his name or is he now just “the dark one?”
