ParticipantI think the big bad is NOT Peter Pan. especially now that we know he is a boy not a man.
I think that Rumpelstiltskin is Peter Pan all grown up. and the HE is some horrible being that rrrriiippps shadows and makes them his workers who don’t allow boys off the island. I think Peter Pan was also his victim but he somehow got away and grew up but the HE wanted revenge so he went after his kids.
Thete are BIG parallels between Hook the movie and OUAT.
1) Peter pan (the adult) was a lawyer
2)Peter pan the adult) was afraid to fly on the airplane
3)Peter Pan (the adult) wanted to be a father more than anything – it was his only happy thought
4)hook (or the shadow) took PP’s kids so that PP come to neverland
4)the key to hook’s revenge was to make PP’s son hate him and love Hook (THIS is a phenomena: why did Neal spend his life running from his father? this is a BIG change from the Baelfire who loved his father and looked for a way to bring him back UNLESS hook brainwashed him against his father saying that only his mother was great and his father was horrible
hook was depressed that his worthy foe PP was not what he used to be and wanted to kill himself — OUAT hook seemed to have a death wish too – while with Cora and goading Rumpel while Rumpel beat him up and he didn’t even fight back. if not for Belle, he’d have killed Hook
when Rumpel was a coward and refused to fight Hook (we know it was because he didn’t want to die and leave his son parentless but still… if he would have remembered that he was PP he’d fight)

ParticipantI agree with Emma on this. Kill the kidnappers, get the boy. Snow could have avoided a lot of pain had she killed Cora in exchange of her mother

ParticipantI can’t see Rumple and Hook being in the same group. They may have agreed to not try and kill each other, but that doesn’t mean they’re BFFs who’ll be able to cooperate. .
Rumpel is no one’s BFF so no problem there, except I would love to see them split Emma/Rumpel because they both lost someone they loved and that someone is the same someone. so they might talk a little…
Rumpel might have a “memory moment” of his Bae and right then catch Emma crying over Neal… Ooooh I’d love to see a conversation there!
and anyway, who ever said they will split up willingly? something might happen that would split them up and I don’t care who ends up stuck with who, but Rumpel and Emma MUST have a moment together!

Participant. I think Blue doesn’t really understand, or maybe she just doesn’t like that true love is more powerful than her magic. She didn’t like Dark One! Rumple because his magic didn’t belong there.
hey maybe… the dark one’s magic really didn’t belong in the EF but it might have belonged only in Neverland.
think about it. it’s always DARK in neverland, and the dark one is called the DARK one. I bet he was able to summon the wraith because it came from neverland which is the dark place, (remember the wraith can’t handle any light, all lights exploded and fire was extinguished when the shadow came as well as when the wraith came)DARK neverland, DARK one etc.
Blue is light and comes from a star which is opposite of dark… so hers and Rumpel’s magic didn’t mesh. but light doesn’t necessarily mean good and dark doesn’t necessarily mean bad

Participantalso the last magic tree that could only transport two people… did that tree not exist yet when Rumpel and Bae needed to go to the land without magic? or at least later when Rumpel needed to follow his son she could have sent him with that tree?

Participantactually I think it IS henry because he definitely IS more than he appears, being 1) Rumpel’s grandson, and 2) the “boy” that PP seeks.
now, if PP had the sight he would KNOW that without Rumpel he’ll not have that child at all, so he devised a whole plan complete with ogre wars and all

Participantmaybe the DO isn’t actually a curse that can be broken by TLK, but something stronger and evil that “has taken root” inside the person once he becomes a DO he has to fight the roots growing inside him?

ParticipantThey both redeemed themselves completely in the end. Regina was going to die, not for Henry, but for all her enemies to be with him. She also trusted that Emma wouldn’t lie to anyone about it.
Rumpel was knowingly giving into the prophacy and allowi.g Henry to be his undoing.
In fact, in this last ep Regina did a tougher redeemingMarty McFly
ParticipantI always thought it was Obvious why Belle is separate. she will have some alone time with Neal so they can have step-mom/step-son bonding…

And that bit of him that secretly aspires to be Charming could allow for him to be a hero if he got past his cowardice and shed the DO curse.
