ParticipantA tiny…very, very, very TINY part of me is wondering…. what if A&E are going to resurrect (hehehe) the Hook/Mila ship? I mean…itd work. He’s down there with his first love… Emma and Neal could reunite… I mean….of course they wont but it really could work
You know what would also means Colin on the show and Neal without MRJ, crack theory they save neal soul, but put it on Hook body, that would mean Neal, but would also mean Colin on the show. Colin keeps saying that hook is to stay but in a totally diferent way, so who knows, Colin would be playing neal with neal memories, that would be a sort of recast, but would have colin for the fans, would have Henry dad, with him calling “hook” dad, something Csers want, Rumple calling son to “hook” and TLK with Emma and “Hook”/Neal, this is something this show would pull, bc doesnt make sense at all. And would include fan service for everyone.
AHEM!
this was MY crack theory no, wait, it wasn’t a *theory* it was an idea I had for A&E when I thought that MRJ left because he wanted to leave and POOR POOR A&E were left with no choice but to kill off my fav character. so I said, why not just get another actor to be Neal? and you guys said, well, everyone loves HOOK so I said, FINE let hook’s body be Neal, this way the story is still sort of good, because Neal is alive, and the CS airheads get their hot guy. it was a few THOUSAND pages back right after episode 3×15[adrotate group="5"]Marty McFly
ParticipantSo I’ve just finished watching ouat from beginning to end. Wow I forgot how beautiful it was! I enjoyed every moment of it from the pilot all the way to Belle falling on the floor and Neal saying “Regina, don’t let him die for nothing.” Wow! What a beautiful show!

ParticipantWait, WHAT?????????
Rumple doesnt care for Neal in canon???????
Omfg
So thats it. They friggin killed his charachter! So in order not to have MRJ in the show, they killed what was once Rumple/Mr Gold. So now, what, they will bring back Baelfire?? As a child? How many ways could you spell rediculous? Reddikulus.
Wow I HATE this show now. Why couldnt they leave a great story alone? Why take SUCH a beautiful tale like the one in seasons 1 through 3a, and KILL IT?????? Completely distroy it?
For FOOKIO?
For heavens sake! I looked on you tube for a copmilation of Rumple/Regina scenes, because this is my only regret for not watching past season 3, I miss those two and their interactions,
So I looked on YouTube, thinking, I wont watch season 4,5 but only see my dear Regina again. Interacting with Rumple. And… all they had was a compilation on seasons 1 to 3a.
So apparently, ouat is really not worth watching anymore because no more sassy Rumple/Regina scenes either. So why the pull to keep watching this thing, eh?

ParticipantNeal is coming back!
Yeah, sorry but No.
Because:
1st Cs 2nd MRJ moved on, i dont think he will ever work with these people again and i bet is not his desire ever cross the paths of this fandom 3rd They sort of erased Neal importance from Henry and Rumple lifes 4th they would not know what to do with Neal( unless is to give blessings to CS) 5th They dont care about Neal 6th so many other reasons that the list would be to big. This is very depressing… is Neal really not important to Henry anymore? And Rumple?? Its hard to believe

Participantwatching season 1 made me think…
I refuse to believe that A&E, who reportedly sat for ten years planning this show, would let a pretty-boy decimate such a beautiful work of art!
There is no way an artist would allow anyone to defecate all over his/her artwork. Therefore, I believe that this whole hook situation was a ruse. The authors are stringing us along. No one has ever seen the effects of a strong love potion on this show, YET. There has been talk about it. Regina wanted to use it on Henry during season 2. But the audience were never fooled by one yet. (unless Cora used one on Regina, but I don’t think she needed to)
And if the residents of StoryBrooke are going to the dead-land, well, bad dead people are just as dead as good dead people. The underworld can’t possibly be their last stop.Neal is coming back!
it’s not as though hook is made into some really good guy with a sad back story. he killed his own father. and, no, I am sorry, but his daddy issues are not anything compared to Cora’s kids’ mommy issues, or Rumple’s daddy issues or Bae’s abandonment story or even Pan’s daddy selling him to a blacksmith.
RG said that Hook’s father sold him and his brother to a captain on a ship?? and then they ended up being a respectable captain and lieutenant? doesn’t sound like he sold them to very bad people. maybe he just gave them up, to give them their best chance?
the writing is purposely not giving hook a very sympathetic backstory, because they are throwing breadcrumbs of clues for us to see when we go back to watch earlier episodes after his villainy is revealed.
ouat likes to repeat story lines. so Tamara and Walsh will simply be repeated but in big this time. they will bring all the good people back, and…
neal is coming baaack!!!!!
(hope. hope can be very painful. but still, hope.)

ParticipantSo i just finished watching episode 11 fruit of a poisonous tree
How sydney was infatuated with regina almost like a love potion and he killed a good, kind man, who freed him, because he was blinded by infatuation.
Is emma blindly infatuated by hook? Is hook infatuated by emma? Because this is not love. Not what i saw in seasen 3. Its not love. Its like Sidney with Regina.
Emotional entangelments can lead us down dangerous paths, said Mr. Gold.

Seriously. It’s like the former-loved-one-turned-zombie that against all common reason you keep around. So you lock it in the shed, where it shambles aimlessly, occasionally makes weird groaning noises, and keeps trying to eat your brains whenever you come by to feed it.
Here’s what the SF thread is in this analogy–
You share the duties of caring for the ZombOUAT (ZOUAT?) with a bunch of others who still feel an emotional attachment to the original entity. There’s a bunch of people who’ve since moved on – moved out of the house, if you will — but still come by to bring cookies, booze, and offer moral support. You take turns feeding ZOUAT chicken brains, but mostly hang out, talk about the nature of zombiehood, whether you think there’s a cure, and whether the original personality is till “in there.” And about the various vagaries of its decomposition process.
Hoping against all hope that maybe you’ll wake up one day and the thing in the shed will have snapped out of it. But really, we all know that we’re just binding time until it finally expires.
All along you also know that no cure is coming, and it’d be a mercy to you and to it to just put the damned thing down.
Happy Sunday. ?Beautiful analogy. This ZOUT is actually eating my brains lol

ParticipantBy the way, out of curiousity, what are hooks father abandionment issues? Are they as bad as peter pan? Or as bad as Jafar? What have these writers DONE to their beautiful show, what?? Hook is now a poor dear who was brutally abandoned?

Participant@wickedRegal you ship dark/heart?? I thouht i was the only one 🙂
I think the main reason i ship Cora with Rumple is because she is w refreshing new prespective on Rumple.
While everyone on the show keeps calling him a coward, belitteling him, thinking he is only interested in collecting power and nothing else, Cora sees him as the man he actuwlly is. She said “really, Rumple, hiding is beneath you” when he was dying in his back room and Emma made the protection spell, remember? She also came to his shop for a truce, she will find Regina undisturbed, and she gave him the globe to find his son. Showing that she knew what he was all about, and it was not collecting power, but finding his son. The parallels between Cora’s manipulation of her daughter and Rumple’s fear of his son not accepting him were starking. Cora is so smooth with poor Regina, while Rumple completely falls apart and has no clue what to say, how to ask forgiveness…
@nevermore, wow, from what you are saying… reducing Rumple’s complex and fascinating character to a woobified villain, just like another Hook…. i don’t know what to say… i am glad i stopped watchingSpeaking of watching, i just watched “true north” of season 1, and by gawd! The way Emma right away thought about finding these childrens father, it was like she projected her own situation onto the twins’. When Henry asked if she has something of his father’s, she said no. (Haha) but this sentimentality is what gave her the idea that the mother must have kept SOMETHING to remember their father… just like she had… she obviously loved Neal throughout season one…

Participant@NEVERMORE What are their similarities?
