Moderatoroooooh that’s probably it… Huh.
Hey is this the episode Young Bae is going to appear in?
Yeah, it is. So guess we’re finally getting to see the story of when Rumple went in and stopped the war.

ModeratorThis episode felt like Bobby was back in top form. It was really nice to see him enthusiastic again.
Maybe he really is enjoying the Gideon storyline, since it goes back to the roots of Rumple doing things for his son.

ModeratorHow Rumple reacted during the end of that scene was classic Season 1 Rumple. It was a very nice touch to the episode. The episode was written by Jane, so I guess she’s still capable of writing good material for Rumple every now and then.

ModeratorThis is an example of the writers writing a twist just to for the sake of stirring drama, but without thinking of long term ramifications. Having it revealed that Hook killed Robert minutes after David gives him his blessing to propose to Emma was too juicy for the writers to pass up, but we all know they’re not going to have a good payoff. This hearkens back to the twist that Regina killed Marian in the original timeline. Unneeded and messy drama for the sake of drama. Emma and Hook are still going to get together, and the past will be in the past. It’s just another temporary roadblock, as far as the writers are concerned.

ModeratorAnyone want to guess the ratings for tomorrow’s episode 6×12?
We tend to say steady for an episode or two so I’ll guess a .9 in the demo, the same as last week.
Agreed. If not, we’ll only drop to a 0.8, but still leaning towards 0.9.

ModeratorIf the cast are aware that the show probably doesn’t have much of a future left, then I could see a renewal being tempting for financial reasons. If Season 7 gets picked up, they’re guaranteed a steady gig for another year. If Season 7 ended up only being 13 episodes, that would be another plus, since then that would potentially allow the actors freedom to audition for pilot Season next year.
