Some sort of flashback with Zelena and Evil Queen? Would it take place during the events of 3B?

Yeah, I wouldn’t much care if Zelena left. Her character is good for a few lines but that’s about all. What *would* annoy me, however, is that it always seemed, to me, that one of the biggest reasons why the writers killed off Robin Hood was because they 1) couldn’t find a way to make his character more interesting and 2) thought the relationship between Zelena and Regina was meatier and more worthy of their time. The fact that a season later (if these theories are true) Zelena also makes a swift exit without any real development between Zelena and Regina would once and for all prove, to me, that the writers don’t make any sort of meaningful plans. They plot for 11 episodes at a time and don’t try to think of the bigger picture of future seasons.

I mean, killing regulars or sending their characters off to Forgotten Character Island needs to stop being an option. It’s lazy. Plan and develop!

I think if they do write off Zelena, it would be ideal if they did so without killing her. I know many here are not Zelena’s biggest fans, but Robin 2.0 being left completely parentless would feel very wrong. It was bad enough with Robin’s death leaving Roland without any living parents. Maybe Zelena and her baby should just leave town with some given excuse?

Glenn Slater, one of Alan Menken’s regular lyricists (the same one he worked with on Galavant), confirmed that he’s not involved. Alan Menken could still be up in the air, but I’m now going with unlikely:

Nope. But I'm really, really looking forward to hearing @KarenDavid sing again! https://t.co/wQkclNbxfy

Note he’s probably just assuming that Karen will be singing, so I wouldn’t take it as confirmation that she is.

Well, this could still be part of the May sweeps if they decide to take Easter Sunday off this year. Although I don’t know how that would fit with the schedule but let’s face it- ABC’s schedule has been all over the place this year.

Unless they do more than one 2 hour episode, then it would literally be impossible to take Easter off. Not to mention, they have to also air all of Time After Time (which I hear is 12 episodes) and American Crime (I heard 8 episodes this time). From March 5th to May 14th (the final Sunday before the Billboard Music Awards), they only have 11 weeks to air 12 episodes.

I don’t think this is the musical episode for two reasons. One, I imagine it would be written by Adam and Eddy, and not two of the random staff writers. Two, I think the musical episode would be saved for May sweeps. May sweeps technically start on April 27th, which should make 619 the first OUAT episode of sweeps. So I’m thinking 619 or 620, as I doubt the musical episode would be the finale.
