ModeratorAccording to TVLine, Jasmine’s debut will actually not be until 604:
Akdeniz and Fehr make their debut in the Season 6 opener (airing Sunday, Sept. 25), while TVLine hears that David will first be seen in Episode 4.

ModeratorI’m actually happy for her, because she’s stated many times that she’s always wanted to play Jasmine.
MatthewPaul
ModeratorWithout a doubt. Maybe she’s not in 601 so they didn’t announce her yet
And I heavily doubt that she was the random girl that Jafar killed in the sneak peek, either.

ModeratorLooks like Matt confirmed to me that the Sinbad casting was in fact really for Aladdin:
You would be correct!

Scheherazade remains a mystery, but all signs point to Jasmine now.

ModeratorOkay, opinions people. What does everyone make of the Olympian Crystal stuff? With the whole “we don’t know if Hades was telling the truth”…are they changing their mind on Robin?
It did come across as weird, because after Neal died, they kept saying “he’s dead for good, and not coming back.” They seem to be more coy about Robin, though. It could still just be damage control, so I’m not sure what to think.

ModeratorThe sad thing is, I really like Oded Fehr. He’s a great actor. He would have made a great older Aladdin or another important character. I’d have been thrilled. But this leaves a really sour taste in my mouth.
And I guess if we hadn’t already had Naveen as Jafar, we’d all be more accepting of Oded’s Jafar. Oded seemed alright in the clip we got, so maybe I’ll warm up to him a little more as time goes on. Still, I’ll miss Naveen.

ModeratorI would not be surprised if they won’t acknowledge Wonderland at all anymore.
Or, there ends up being two Jafars that exist in the same universe, just like there were two Ursulas. I’m not a fan of either option.
