ModeratorStop thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis.
It’s been fiiiiiiiive years. THE JIG IS UP!
Well, even the scripts continue to call him that, based on that script tease from 512. I’m guessing it’s their way of easily differentiating him from the regular Henry.

ModeratorHowever, Cora reveals a family secret that could change Regina and Zelena’s lives forever.
As I feared, I think they’re going the “Regina and Zelena met as kids, and they don’t remember because of something Cora did” route.

ModeratorPretty sure this is mainly talking about 521, not 522/523.

ModeratorWe’ve never had a villain that couldn’t (not wouldn’t…but couldn’t) commit murder; and especially not one that was also a god.
Well, there was Cruella. Isaac literally took away her ability to kill anybody.

ModeratorAt the end of the promo, James holds a gun to Robins head and with all the talk about Robins possible death, I think this might be the episode where he dies.
Nah, Robin was seen filming up to episode 521. He even makes it out of the Underworld and reunites with Roland and Little John. His rumored death shouldn’t happen til after that.

ModeratorThis episode and ship, though, feel like it was designed to, at best, appease and, at worst, shut up the queer fanbase. I mean in one breath A and E declare that love is love (yay!) but then have Mulan speak in gender neutral terms–and NOT for the first time this season! You don’t get to claim to celebrate diversity while denying the sexuality of one character multiple times over. It comes off as tone deaf and like you’re only concerned with the buzzworthyness of your show.
As you said elsewhere, the whole pronoun game with Mulan might not even be the writers’ fault, if it’s the result of executive meddling due to Mulan being a Disney princess. This would go beyond A&E’s control. Considering what they allowed Ruby and Dorothy to do and say in this episode, but not Mulan, does make me more suspicious that something fishy is afoot.

ModeratorSomeone else brought this up in a different thread, but didn’t Hades enchant a chisel, not Hook’s hook, in order to carve the names onto the tomb stones? *sigh*
I thought the same, until I actually re-watched the scene. Hook actually never said that Hades enchanted his hook to carve the names. He said that “he enchanted my hand to carve these markings in the first place”. Back in the episode “Labor of Love”, Hades shows the hook to Emma, and drops it on the ground before leaving. This took place before Hades asked him to chisel names, too. Hook continues to be hookless until Emma saves him in the “Devil’s Due”, so I’m guessing Emma kept the hook and returned it to him. So I think the enchantment was done to Hook’s hand, and that was what gave him the power to carve names, rather than the chisel itself.

ModeratorReturn to Oz, by the way, is a Disney film, not associated with the iconic 1939 film.
It’s Disney’s unofficial sequel to the iconic 1939 film, hence the title “Return to Oz”. They even went through the trouble of paying an insane amount for the permission to use the Ruby Slippers in their film. But yeah, it’s an unofficial sequel just like Oz the Great and Powerful is their unofficial prequel. I wouldn’t be surprised if future Oz flashbacks include Return to Oz characters such as the Nome King, Princess Mombi and the Wheelers.
