The whole Author plot of Season 4 is feeling ironic now. Regina’s character really has been screwed over the most, aside from perhaps Rumple, and no matter how far she’s come, the writers continue to punish her. Just when is enough enough?

Ok, random theory — any reason to think that the forgetfulness curse might be somehow derived from Lethe? And the Dark Curse derived from Acheron?
Maybe the main recipe of the Dark Curse consists of water from all five rivers of the Underworld? Just, for the love of God, please no usage of the Lethe water as amnesia on anyone this Season!

That tweet about Sean being at the airport is not reassuring.
Just thought about something else. What if the death comes down to something budget related? Maybe they can’t afford to keep both Sean and Bex as series regulars, especially the way ratings are looking. I mean, we found it odd that both got promoted last Summer, when prior to Season 5 the max number of series regulars at a time was 9. Right now its 10. Given the way the ratings are, perhaps budget cuts occurred and something had to give.
Also, what are people making of the five weird colored “streams” in Hades’s throne room?

Rumple’s line was an example of shoddy writing, yes. On the other hand, it doesn’t bother me too much that the UW is Storybrooke with a red filter. I think it’s actually preferable to yet another cheaply cobbled together CGI realm.
An easy solution would have been to have Rumple say something to the effect of the UW appears to different people as different things, and it’s appearing to them as SB because [insert reason blah blah].
Anyway, I agree with your larger point. A lot of the world building of UW is, so far, pretty muddled.
I actually prefer this take on the Underworld as opposed to a mostly CGI environment like Wonderland or just one bland studio soundstage like we got in Neverland. Especially if it was all dark underground caverns.
I am very intrigued to read about the wizarding world in North America, considering that’s where a lot of us reside. I’m especially excited to learn about Ilvermorny, the North American wizarding school.

Considering that Matt said this isn’t his story, that does give a tiny possibly hint that this isn’t OUAT. Covering OUAT is Matt’s territory, so it might have made more sense for him to do this article, if it was.
