ModeratorI agree that this Blind Item just screams Once Upon a Time, and think things definitely aren’t looking good for Robin. Now I think if this does cause Regina to backslide, it won’t be the Charmings she goes after, but Zelena. Zelena may play a role in Robin’s death, and that would be enough of a reason for Regina to target her sister. Maybe that’s the real reason for having Zelena around, so that they can have an excuse for Regina to revert back to her old habits. Regina’s come to far to turn on the Charmings yet again, but her feud with Zelena remains unresolved.

ModeratorI will say, if a regular really is getting killed off permanently, I wonder if they learned from Neal’s death and intentionally made sure it wasn’t until around the Season finale this time around. After all, the lack of info about MRJ filming for a large period of time was a huge red flag. MRJ did briefly manage to throw some fans off with that door photo. That door photo was posted when 319 was filmed, which conveniently included Neal in the flashback. As for now, if they really have been filming some scenes for 523 ahead of time, that would certainly be a way to throw people off from this supposed new death.

ModeratorBasically, A&E promised we’d get an answer to the question of why the UW looks like SB.
Their reply: “YOUR QUESTIONS ARE POINTLESS” (aka the answer to every question about this show)
We actually are getting an answer in 516. According to overheard on set dialogue, Hades created the Underbrooke as a gift for Zelena. Something to do with how Zelena always wanted to be the one to cast the curse.

ModeratorHonestly, I expect a lot of the actors to still remain quiet about any ill feelings towards the show, even after it ends. Why? Because as professional actors, they may not want to burn any bridges. They could still be open to working for other Adam and Eddy projects or for ABC/Disney as a whole. Even the actors that have left have been willing to return every now and now. Despite the way he was written off the show back in Season 3, Michael Raymond-James was still totally cool with returning for the 100th episode, and TVLine even mentioned that MRJ still has mutual respect for Adam and Eddy. Heck, even Michael Socha mentioned that he’s still open to returning, provided that they make sure they actually do something with his character the next time around.

ModeratorI feel like Michael Socha is one of the only actors to tell it like it really is working on OUAT. But, I’m fairly positive that behind closed doors, many of the actors would say similar things.
Meghan Ory also came out about how the reason she went to do Intelligence was because of the lack of screentime she was getting during the 2nd half of Season 2. She went to talk to Adam and Eddy, who flat out told her “We’re setting up to do this Neverland arc, and it doesn’t involve you”, so she then asked if she could leave the show so that she could do Intelligence instead. Granted, Meghan was a lot more diplomatic talking about it compared to Michael Socha. Ruby’s character suffered the same fate as Will’s and Archie’s (other former regulars) – they’re not family members or love interests of the core characters, and therefore they get easily sidelined more than the others. Will was briefly Belle’s new love interest, but that was ultimately just some obstacle for Rumbelle.

ModeratorSo far the best reason they’ve given for everyone to go is “We’re supporting Emma,” save for Gold, who is there because blackmail (and also his blood yadda yadda).
It would have been different had this plotline been done to save Neal at the end of S3 as I had hoped back then. Regina would have come to support Henry, and Henry & Rumple would have come for their own connections to Neal. Robin and the Charmings STILL have kids they should be caring for and almost zero cause to seek either of Emma’s loves (except to support Emma/Regina), but whatever. Actually, after Emma, Belle has the best relationship with Hook at this point out of the whole group and she got left behind (and she also had a good relationship with Neal going, so…). So whatever. Some logic got thrown under the bus to make this plot work.
Me and RG originally predicted that it would be Regina sacrificing herself at the end of 5A, before the spoilers got out that it would be Hook. I think in some regard everyone going to the Underworld for Regina would have made more sense, and Regina would have essentially paid Emma back for when she saved her at the end of Season 4. Not to mention, there was that whole thing about Regina being the new savior earlier in the Season. While it might have come across as SQ baiting, I still think there could have been more logic going this route. Emma, Henry, Snow, Charming, and Robin would all have their reasons for wanting to save Regina. Rumple probably still would have been blackmailed into it, though.

ModeratorWhich major character died off.
Signs are pointing to Robin Hood, because they filmed a funeral with everybody in black with Robin noticeably absent. And before you ask, yes Colin was present on set, implying that Hook is alive again. Little John being in attendance and Regina being in a widowish outfit also suggest this is Robin’s funeral.
