Moderator“tossing him to the bear…” omg.
OMG the gay bar. @Phee, a page back:In which Glavant establishes the EF’s LGBT community in their second season, putting OUAT to shame once again. *
Wow, it didn’t even occur to me that that was probably a jab at the Cancellation Bear, just like the episode title.
Also, about the Enchanted Forest being a gay bar, that was actually confirmed in a new interview TVLine posted a few days ago, but I forgot to share it here:
Kylie Minogue is in the first episode [playing a gay bar’s chanteuse]

ModeratorI think @POM might be right on something she said earlier which is that they are going to somehow, inexplicably tie Mulan (sans Ruby?) to Oz. Dorothy is apparently more than a one off (yes?). If they want to make the Witch Hunter story more than one episode then Dorothy/Zelena need to have interaction with other characters and the mains (the CharMillStiltkins) are off battling the Devil. So insert the B-Cast with the other plotline
Yeah, it was said that Dorothy is recurring, and isn”t just appearing in 516. I mean we all assumed Mulan and Ruby were the planned LGBT couple, but we may have been off all along. Looking back at old interviews, it was said that the seeds for the LGBT couple would be planted in “The Bear King”, but that didn’t necessarily mean that said LGBT couple were introduced in the same episode. The seeds planted could have just been Mulan being re-introduced into the story, and how she needs to heal her broken heart. They may have never intended for Ruby to be Mulan’s future girlfriend, but rather a fellow companion to help her along the journey to find that person.

ModeratorMay not be about OUAT but we cant say we know isnt bc she tweeted saying it wasnt, the actors are bonded by contracts and appears OUAT ones, means actually no spoilers, so we can only say if was or not about ouat when she will be back filming or not. And about denying it, brought me back to memories of S3B the spoiler of doom, they were all fast denying it and i even remenber Rose saying was not the person everyone was talking about and we all know that was in fact that character, in fact even MRJ tweeted a door to make everyone thinking he was still filming and with the latest examples of camelot actors rt tweets speaking bad about ouat, bc appears that they “didnt read” what they were rt, or the same way Emilie says she loves ouat, when is odd that when her storyline almost doesnt exist, reality no one wants to go against Abc and Disney, so her responding, may actually be that, end rumours to not bring more problems than the ones that existed in the fandom.
Actually, MRJ was likely filming his scene for “A Curious Thing” when he posted that door pic, since that was the episode filming at the time. Not to mention MRJ did later appear at the beginning of “There’s No Place Like Home”, too. Yeah plenty of fans felt misled, because they assumed it meant Neal was still alive that far into the Season, but MRJ wasn’t technically lying. Just because Neal died in “Quiet Minds” didn’t rule out filming flashbacks for those 2 episodes. Of course it happened to be convenient, because it threw some fans off from suspecting Neal was the death.
Anyway, the fact is Jamie’s tweet could have been referring to anything. It may not have dealt with any TV show or movie for that matter, but could have very well been about something in her personal life. The tweet made absolutely no mention about OUAT at all, so it’s not like she was obligated to explain it. In fact, if you look at the string of tweets in response to that one tweet, nobody mentions OUAT. Tyler’s questioning of it may have been the only time she saw anyone suspect that it had anything to do with OUAT. For the time being I’m going to trust Jamie. Of course filming news will clear things up about Mulan, one way or another.
MatthewPaul
ModeratorOf course if was about OUAT she would not tell.
If it was about OUAT, she probably wouldn’t have responded to Tyler’s tweet at all. I think she was being genuine here.

ModeratorGlad that was sorted out. Hopefully they do stick with their 5B plans for Mulan, because dropping it would become a PR disaster.

ModeratorStill, this is all pure speculation at the moment, and only time will tell.
Oh boy. If they drop the Mulan storyline (which is *probably* the LGBT one) then…A and E best build themselves a boat and set out to sea because the fans will be waiting in the tall grass (Twitter) for them.
If by some chance they are dropping it, my guess is it’ll be the case of “we got too crowded with other storylines, and couldn’t fit it in.” You know, like what happened with Will Scarlet last Season, which is only one of the examples. I certainly hope they didn’t drop it, for both our sake and their own.

Now keep in mind this could be referring to just about anything. However, its worth mentioning that it could possibly end up being about OUAT, if it turns out that they dropped Mulan’s story for 5B, despite Adam and Eddy saying that they were still planning it as recently as earlier this month. A reason I bring this up is because its not unheard of for this show to drop planned storylines, so I feel the need to have this tweet on record in the event that it happens again with Mulan. Still, this is all pure speculation at the moment, and only time will tell.

ModeratorShe’s right, of course. Lana (and JMo) are entitled to see their characters through their own personal lens. Just like the fans. But…emotional truths are going to be emotional truths and this fandom lost the ability to discuss anything rationally a long time ago.
Its exactly like politics. All sides of the fandom have heard every argument under the sun thrown at them, but that’s not going to suddenly change their minds. If they don’t like whatever Lana, JMo, or anybody involved with the show say, they’re going to get riled up about it, no matter how valid those stated opinions are. Now comes the question of should the actors be allowed to freely state their own opinions, or should they forever feel the need to censor themselves just because they don’t want to accidentally offend any parts of the fandom? Both options certainly have their negatives, and it extends to the larger ongoing problem that exists outside of OUAT: free speech vs. political correctness.
