Has to be Cora appearing in the Underworld in present day, not a flashback. The writers also won’t be able to resist having Cora and Zelena interact for the first time, aside from when she was an infant.
[adrotate group="5"]Or, how about this: Nimue actually does die, and Merlin goes to the underworld and brings her back. But the consequence (price / side effect) is that some darkness from the underworld comes along for the ride when he brings her back. It wouldn’t have been released on the world if he hadn’t gone to save her. So he gets her back, but she is infected with this darkness and becomes the first dark one!
It would perfectly parallel how most of us think the darkness will be banished this season.

I do suspect that there has always been a link between the Dark One and the Underworld. For whatever reason, Emma not charging a price to heal Robin’s fatal wounds triggered the Fury to go after him. Of course all magic comes with a price, but what if the Dark One’s magic comes at an even steeper price as a result of originating from the Underworld?
New guess for the title. If they want to stick with the theme of the Spring Premiere being the name of a Bruce Springsteen song like the previous two Seasons, I could see “Badlands” being the title. Badlands by definition refers to “extensive tracts of heavily eroded, uncultivable land with little vegetation.” A typical view of the Underworld/Hell could probably be compared to that, except it’s underground. These are the lyrics, and I’ll bold any lyrics that could potentially tie-in nicely to OUAT:

Whoa whoa whoaIt’s the chorus in particular that I find intriguing. We have two previous episode titles from this Season right there with “Broken Heart” and “The Price.” “The Price” in particular ties in nicely, because of what we saw with the Fury and Charon back in that episode attempting to collect Regina’s price.
I *think* I like that idea. It fits with some of the Greek mythology (okay, and others, but Greek is my game) that there was a specific catalyst for how darkness entered the world. There was an actual event that explains why life sucks, people suck, everything sucks and why everything continues to suck. Usually it’s because humans do a thing (Pandora, Eve).
They’ve had Pandora’s box in S3A.
And let’s not forget that Blue said that the Dark One’s powers are not from their world way back in “The Return.”
I gathered the same, but it’s more like what ritual are they performing. *searches Greek myth memory…* I mean…Odysseus had to offer up a ram and an ewe to get into the underworld…..so maybe that works this way in OUAT
I was also thinking of when Dumbledore payed with his blood to get into the cave in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

I take it some sort of blood ritual is happening.
Hercules and Hunchback of Notre Dame should also be on the list but that might be too religious for Once’s tastes.
Except it looks like Hades is coming in 5B, and we’ve already had Poseidon as a Greek deity before. If Hades is around, I wouldn’t be surprised if Hercules makes some sort of appearance too.

Well in Belle’s case, it helps that we know from filming reports that she’s still around. Most recently she was spotted filming Storybrooke scenes in 510.
