ModeratorIf it turns out that Meghan’s already been filming for a while, then they’ve done a good job hiding her. Unless they’re gonna pull a Season 3B, where they filmed new scenes with Ruby and added them to episodes she clearly wasn’t originally there for when they filmed them. However, they did do a pretty good job hiding that Eion Bailey returned as August for PRESENT day scenes.

ModeratorBONUS SPOILER!: “I hope there’s a full moon this year,” Kitsis shares. “You never know who might come out….”
Are they really teasing that Ruby could be returning?
MatthewPaul
ModeratorYup. But Emma of 5 months seems perfectly fine–like hanging out with everyone and there are some pic of her and Hook being all CS-y, so what on earth happens to turn her?
It’s been suggested that there’s some sort of time limit before she fully transitions into the Dark Swan, and the enchanted rose taken from Beauty and the Beast could have something to do with it. But yeah, who knows what triggers it.

ModeratorAfter seeing that new promo where Emma’s all, “Teh battle for my darkness begins,” or whatever, I think they’re gonna set that up in Camelot in 501, with a caption on screen that it was about 5 months ago. Then at the end of the ep they’ll flash “Present Day” on the screen and we see that everyone’s back in SB and Emma’s evil, so we can be, “Oh noes, they lost the battle.” Then all the FTL stuff through the season will be flashbacks to the intervening 5 months, seeing how Emma went all Dark One, while we see them all in present day SB trying to figure out how to turn her back.
Yep. That’s more or less been the common theory in this thread for a while now. And it’s what makes the most sense.

ModeratorHere’s a moment from this chapter that’s funnier if you’ve already read the entire book before:
“The lake froze solid and the Weasley twins were punished for bewitching several snowballs so that they followed Quirrell around, bouncing off the back of his turban.”
What makes this even more funny is knowing that Fred and George were unknowingly throwing snowballs at Voldemort’s face.

ModeratorDo you think that Dumbledore is lying about what he sees in the mirror, or is he able to control his desires so much that he can manipulate what he sees?
Of course he is. Even when I first read this book as a kid, I knew he wasn’t quite being honest with that response.
Why didn’t Dumbledore reveal himself earlier, if he had known Harry (and Ron) had been visiting the mirror?
I think Dumbledore secretly wants Harry to pursue these mysteries. Perhaps Dumbledore feels these challenging experiences will prepare Harry for what lies ahead.
What do you think you’d see if you looked into the mirror?
It’s honestly hard to pinpoint what is truly my deepest and most desperate desire of my heart. I guess all I can say is that I could see myself happily content with the career of my dreams, and married with a family.

ModeratorThey can’t do Narnia. It’s owned by Fox after Disney sold the rights.
Even then, Disney never owned the full franchise. In fact, Disney didn’t even directly have the film rights. Walden Media did. Disney just made a deal with Walden Media to distribute the films, and that agreement ended after Prince Caspian underperformed.
However, that’s not to say certain things in this show can’t be loosely inspired by Narnia. The magical wardrobe being the most obvious example. Still, no chance of a full arc specifically based on Narnia.
