If it does involve OUAT, it could be as little as a promotional video of sorts, rather than guest starring on the show itself. Many things film in Vancouver, so chances are its not related to OUAT or even ABC at all. Still worth a ponder.
[adrotate group="5"]Jafar on the otherhand was underused and didnt even have the same personality or really ANY personality. I think his son, Jay, would have been a better fit as Aladdin’s child. I was very disappointed about Jafar considering he is one of my top two fave villains.
Jafar was definitely the weakest of the iconic Disney villains depicted here. His actor did not do the role justice, especially compared to Naveen Andrews on OUATiW. What I don’t understand is how they empathize Jafar being a thief, when aside from plotting to get the lamp, stealing was not one of his known character traits. It was actually Aladdin who was regularly stealing stuff in the original movie. Speaking of Aladdin, it was odd that they didn’t show him, Jasmine or their offspring in this movie,; despite Jafar and his son being involved.
Oh, our SYTTD night will have to take a backseat on Friday. But this shall be a fun diversion.
You’ll be happy to know that they don’t ever call Beast “King Adam” in this movie.
So I actually watched the entire movie. In all honesty, it’s bad in the so bad it’s good sort of way. It’s cheesy, over the top, campy, weird, and at times even sappy. Funnily enough, Zoic studios, who does the visual effects for OUAT, did the visual effects for this movie. Even the Maleficent Dragon shared some similarities in design, though not a complete carbon copy. Also like OUAT, it was also filmed in the Vancouver area. There’s one scene that I swear was filmed at the same bridge as the Emma and Regina scene from “The Jolly Roger.”

Robin isn’t dying!
Guys I was there. He’s not dying but he was still super weak at the end of the scene so of course he’s not going to start jumping up and down after having his life literally sucked out of him. Regina kisses him and brings him back to life and it’s so magical!! He’s moves his leg and grabs Regina’s so he’s obviously alive.
