ModeratorI will say this. I would be intrigued if they somehow work in an encounter between Cora and Zelena in this flashback, while they still had Bex around to film the present day stuff.

ModeratorCora vows to help her daughter find true love, but Regina remains suspicious of her mother’s intentions
What?! Cora doing selfless for Regina back in the day? Without her heart, probably too.
No, Noah Bean. Regina hasn’t met Daniel yet. Ok.
No, the flashback takes place way after the events of “The Stable Boy.” This press release mentions Cora returning from Wonderland, and on the anniversary of Daniel’s death.

ModeratorThis episode seems like it’ll have some nice character interactions between Cora and Regina. I was rewatching Hat Trick the other day and when Regina, referring to Cora, said she knows what Cora does better than most, I wondered if it expanded beyond Daniel’s death. Maybe this episode will prove that true.
I know some have suspected that we may finally see when Cora kidnapped Henry Sr. in this flashback.

ModeratorAgreed. Once again we’ve got a bit of split, but it seems to be about the episodes ending. Most seem to have enjoyed the episode UNTIL the big Zelena drop.
I’m sure plenty will still tune in to see how that plot point is resolved, since many suspect she’s faking. We really might have hit our floor for the Season, as the majority of the remaining viewers this late in the game are the dedicated ones. When there’s only 2 more weeks left of the Season, it seems more likely they’ll just stick around til the end. That’s not to say we won’t drop again next week, as I could see us possibly dropping back down to a 1.6 at the very most.

ModeratorThe promo looks like it’s a return to form for Jane. Her episodes this season have been lacking, but I’ve found that whenever there’s an episode with Cora the episode is normally better (might be my personal bias, but still).
If I agree with you, it’s not bias anymore! Jane has always been a great Cora writer. Here’s hoping.
Here’s hoping, and it’s the first time she’s written a Regina centric all Season. I liked “We Are Both”, “The Miller’s Daughter” (More Cora centric than Regina), “Quite a Common Fairy”, and “Witch Hunt.” Disliked “The Evil Queen” and was meh about “Bleeding Through”, but keep in mind those two were co-written with other writers. Jane writing this episode solo could be a saving grace.

ModeratorAnother possible option, and one that I think would be controversial in itself, is if Regina gets Isaac to write away Zelena’s pregnancy. It would solve the pregnancy obstacle for Outlaw Queen, but I could see it getting backlash if people view it as “magical abortion.”
MatthewPaul
ModeratorThe scorecard updated. OUAT has now filled two slots from last night’s episode:
Number of new pregnancies: 3
1. AIRED April 23: Brennan/Bones
2. AIRED April 26: Zelena/Once Upon a Time
3. [SPOILER]Number of resurrections and/or big returns: 7
1. AIRED April 26: Lily/Once Upon a Time
2. [SPOILER]
3. [SPOILER]
4. [SPOILER]
5. [SPOILER]
6. [SPOILER]
7. [SPOILER]MatthewPaul
Moderatorthe show will probably not get renewed for a fifth season, or last very long if they do without Rumple stirring things up in Storybrooke.
No, the renewal is based on the total average for the entire Season, and TVByTheNumbers (an accurate ratings source and analyst site) has it listed as certain to be renewed. Also, Josh Dallas let it slip that they return to film in July. It’s Season 6 that is the question.

ModeratorOnce again we remained flat at a 1.7 demo and 5.13 million viewers:
I think next week is the last week for a possible drop, as the finale always rises.

ModeratorTurns out the first script tease between Hook and Emma was cut for time, so we have a case of a script tease for what became a deleted scene:
@LoveForCyrus It got cut during the post process. We cut the scenes down for pacing, timing, etc…
