So, if she’s…but how? When? Why? Whaat? Oh well…Maybe it has to do with Emma screwing up time. I won’t flip tables until I see how this plays out.

The most common theory is that when she “died”, her essence lived on in her pendant. We saw Zelena’s magic open the time vortex, so it’s likely Zelena’s essence traveled back in time, and she somehow reformed her body.

She’s definitely back back. Filming photos for episode 420 all but confirm that Zelena is alive in the present, and had been posing as Marian this entire time.
Bex Mader has been spotted in Vancouver.
Chances are, she’s in the finale.
That’s true but are we even sure that a new one was chosen? The DC hit not too long after. Unless it’s like “Avatar” and a new one is chosen instantly.
Someone had to write those last few pages, though. The book ends right when the curse hits, but the Peddler was already imprisoned by that point. Though that could have easily just been the Apprentice taking over. Not to mention, August just happened to choose being a writer as his career choice, and we still don’t know how he knew Neal was Baelfire.
But yeah, August being chosen as the succeeding author would explain so many things. Yeah, I know this theory might have its holes, but I thought I might as well suggest it.
Cover up plot holes, yes. But not as poetic as Henry being the next Author.
If the next author was theoretically chosen when the Peddler was imprisoned, then Henry wouldn’t have even been born yet. So August/Pinocchio could have been chosen as the new author for the time being, while Henry could still be an author in the future. As for why Pinocchio was chosen, I think the Apprentice would have looked for someone who’s the opposite of the Peddler. Someone brave, truthful and unselfish. This was when Pinocchio had turned into a real boy, and had earned those qualities, but before he would go astray once in the Land Without Magic.

The title could have been “Snow and Charming’s Eggcellent Adventure”, but that would have been too obvious. XD
Anyone think the author may end up dead? He’s not a good guy, he’s got some powerful people after him and if he refuses to co-operate or they realize he screwed them over then they’re not going to let him skip away into the sunset.
We know the Author/Peddler is at least still around for the finale, but he could still be killed off by the end of the Season.

Robin’s clothes, makes me think he is in the Emerald City. If Zelena is there….
He definitely is. He’s wearing the Oz guard outfit. You can tell by the “Oz” logo on the belt, and one photo shows the hat lying on the chair next to Robin.
