[adrotate group="5"]The thing is, if they really do want to separate ScarletQueen for good, I wish they had just kept Anastasia dead in the Wonderland finale, rather than having her resurrected in the contrived manner we got. So they resurrected her only to have her either die (again) or break up with Will? Hence I am clinging to the idea that this could only be temporary, and ScarletQueen could still be endgame. Especially if Rumbelle actually manages to get back together, which would effectively separate ScarletBeauty.

In regards to whether or not the writers really did plan this whole Zelena=Marian thing in advanced since the end of Season 3, someone found this old TV Line article from right before “Kansas” aired. The way Eddy Kitsis answers this actually is rather fitting of this theory. Not saying it’s direct confirmation this was planned or not, but interesting nonetheless:
As for the simmering “OutlawQueen,” he says, “You will see that the only thing standing in their way is Regina’s sister [Zelena], who will test whether or not she has really changed.”
What exactly are they hoping Pinocchio can tell them? He doesn’t have memories from being August, right? So the only thing he could tell them about the Book is if he knew something about it before the Curse hit, (like if SneakyFairy told him something about it).
I think this is what will lead up to August’s re-appearance in the next episode. Either they’ll find a way to extract hidden memories of his time as August, or they’re actually going to revert Pinocchio back into August, which could restore those missing memories. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if the 2nd option happens, given the backlash they got when reverting August back into a kid in the first place. However, I’m aware that would spring the question: “well why didn’t they restore him into August in the first place to reveal that Tamara was bad news?” I also recall the original article saying that August would be back for multiple episodes, not just 414.
Michael Socha has also mentioned in interviews that Will has his heart now. Not to mention, the spell of shattered sight still effected him. Remember, Hook wasn’t effected because he didn’t have his heart, but Will did.

A few people online have noticed that Zelena appears to be wearing Pan’s anti-magic band, meaning she’s powerless in this scene.
Roland has a stunt double? Isn’t that kid the same age as the actor? That’s not cool. How is that any better making some other little kid do stunts?
Not a stunt double, just a stand in. There’s a difference. The kid who plays Roland probably just wasn’t available, so they needed an identical kid to film for a few scenes. That probably means he’s not going to do much. We’ve seen them use stand ins before. For example, Jamie Chung wasn’t available for the Season 2 finale, so they had a stand in Mulan film that brief scene.
