ModeratorDay 25- Favourite Plot Twist
The curse breaking in the Season 1 finale, along with Rumple revealing that the true love potion was so he could bring magic into Storybrooke.

ModeratorAlso, does anyone else think that Rumple was a bit…off? I mean, it seemed more like there wasn’t enough effort put by Bobby into the character – and don’t take that as a hate on Bobby. He’s a fantastic actor, but it doesn’t seem like he’s interested in the role.
Bobby has seemed “off” to me since the second half of season three. He is phoning it in as much as Bobby Carlyle can. You’re not the only one who has noticed—Jeremy has said something similar in podcast
That’s not to say there haven’t still been moments where he’s given it his all. That confrontation between Rumple and Belle at the town line in 411 is a fine example.

ModeratorWhat the heck is green breath magic?
It is odd. Maybe she poofs dogs into existence and controls their actions with her breath?
Maybe the green breath magic is a reference to how Cruella is known for smoking? That’s my best guess, honestly.
MatthewPaul
ModeratorSo I guess instead of our previous theory of Cruella transforming into animals, Cruella has the power to control animals.

ModeratorHere’s an interview Hypable did with Adam and Eddy today during the screening:
‘Once Upon a Time’ creators talk love, trust and villains in season 4B
They said there’s more of the interview that they’ll post once 412 premieres.

ModeratorAnd it would explain why Robin Hood was confused about seeing Marian again, considering he thought it was his fault that Marian had died.
Plus, how Marian supposedly originally died doesn’t add up with the way Robin described Marian’s death in both 303 and 313. He described how Marian died while on a job, and how it was apparently his fault. That’s what made me suspicious when they added the whole “Regina killed Marian in the original timeline” twist in the Season 3 finale.

ModeratorI know demons, angels, gods, and goddesses are a part of a Judeo/Christian/Greek worldview, but I’d prefer it if the writers just stuck with traditional fairytale characters. Even the addition of Dr. Frankenstein seemed like a bad idea at the time, and guess what, it still does. The addition of zombies was also a mistake. I know Greek mythology has a way of getting incorporated (e.g. King Midas and Medusa), but this addition just seems like a possible misstep to me.
Like I said, though, demons/devils are in fairy tales. Just to name a few Grimm fairytale titles:
The Devil With the Three Golden Hairs
The Devil’s Sooty Brother
The Devil and His Grandmother
The Lord’s Animals and the Devil’s
The Peasant and the DevilYes those are all real Grimm fairy tales, obscure or not.
