So that scroll Regina was seen holding during the filming of 419? I think I figured it out. I’ve been binge re-watching Season 4A to refresh myself for the start of 4B, and I quickly noticed that a similar scroll was given to Ingrid by the Apprentice in episode 408. This scroll told Ingrid all about how to find Emma in our world. The scroll in the pictures looked very identical to the scroll seen in those previous episodes. My guess is this new scroll is similar to that other scroll, except this one has information on Lily. If this looks to be the case, this would likely mean they got the scroll from the Sorcerer. My choice is still Selfless, Brave and True. Don’t think I need to elaborate too much, as it’s a widely hated episode.
I won’t lie. Lately, in my head, I’ve been toying with the idea that the “secret” the Charmings are keeping is that “there is another” and that Snow had another baby like right after giving birth to Emma. Cause A and E love themselves some Star Wars and they’d think it’d be just too cool if the other one was the anti savior
I’ve also heard a theory that maybe Lily was actually born from Emma’s darkness somehow, which adds more to the anti-savior idea. As in she literally is Emma’s darkness that was split from her in a humanized form.
Yeah, Fish stabbing her own eye out was incredibly disturbing. Goes to show how extreme the woman will go to get her way. That felt pretty gruesome for a primetime network show. The Red Hood plot was the best part of the episode. I like how the Red Hood is passed down from person to person. Maybe one day Jerome will don the Red Hood, since that is the Joker’s alter ego in his most famous origin story prior to his transformation into the manic clown we all know.
I’ve got a really messed up crack theory right now that I pray it doesn’t come true….it came to me when I remembered a scene from one of my kids old Halloween Movies “House of Mouse: Villains Takeover” There was a scene with Chernabog and Maleficent…as an…item.
I do wonder if Chernabog will at least play a role in how Maleficent is resurrected.
Yup that’s Chernabog. They better not treat him like the Wraith, here one episode and gone the next.
Agreed. I think if he’s only temporarily defeated and has a greater role for the rest of the Season, there would be potential. Was it mentioned how he gets unleashed? Was he trapped in the hat?
Day 23- Favourite Episode Overall
The Season 1 finale, “A Land Without Magic.” This was a huge turning point episode for the series, possibly the biggest. Not only did we get Emma finally believing in the curse, but she breaks the curse by giving Henry true love’s kiss as a loving mother. There were a lot of other good moments like seeing Emma and Regina work as a team to try and save Henry, Graham making a cameo in the flashback, Emma vs Dragon Maleficent, seeing the flashbacks of the Season come full circle by witnessing the final events that led to the opening scene of Charming waking Snow up, Rumbelle being reunited, Snowing “finding each other” after getting their memories back, and that powerful cliffhanger with Rumple unleashing magic into Storybrooke.
OR: What if Dark Emma isn’t actually Emma at all? What if it’s someone else they’re making into a second Emma? What if it’s Lily?

Pretty sure this wasn’t actual footage from an episode. It very much reads like a special segment filmed just for this promo to tease the upcoming season. It highlights themes and arc but is not part of any actual episode.
Yep. It’s like that “This Season, Storybrooke has been frozen…over” promo, where they filmed original footage specifically for said promo. That Season 2 promo of Snow, Charming, Regina and Rumple walking around in Storybrooke in their FTL attire is another example.
