He wants to free himself from the dagger but…why. Why now? Is it because he is so messed up post-Zelena? Then say that! Is he trying to bring back Nealfire? Then say that! I need a reason why all of a sudden plot device hat makes him the most evil man on the planet.
I get the impression that the reason we don’t know further details why is because once again the writers are trying to stretch a plotline out. They want us on the seat of our pants waiting to find out, but perhaps they underestimate how impatient this fandom can be. We want to know Rumple’s full plans and motivation NOW for the sake of understanding his character, but the writers feel like waiting for the right opportunity.
I’m still annoyed over the casting, but I think Cruella doesn’t look that bad. The jacket looks good, but I’m just wondering how formidable she’ll be.
Ursula…that upsets me. They have Yvette Nicole Brown as both a contact and as a huge fan of the show, so I really don’t know why they didn’t ask her a while ago. If they brought up the prospect before Community got picked up or before she signed up for CBS’s “The Odd Couple,” she could’ve considered it! But I won’t judge the actress until she appears on screen.
Well if this really is supposed to be Ursula, the other option could be the character is being portrayed by two actresses at the same time. How would this work? In the movie Ursula disguises herself as a human in the form of Vanessa. Merrin Dungey could be playing Vanessa, while Yvette could still play/voice Ursula when she’s in her octopus form. It would be a tactic to work around Yvette’s schedule if she has other commitments.
Could she be taking over the rule of Ursula from Yvette Nicole Brown? We only saw Ursula as a statue, so they might feel justified in recasting if they have to. Would be a shame though, cause Yvette could have been great.

Just saw that Kristin Bauer and Victoria Smurfit are following Merrin Dungey on Twitter, so definitely looks like Kat guessed the actress correctly.
