ModeratorMaybe it brings out their hostilities toward each other and Rumple tries to kill Hook and Belle tries to use the dagger to stop him–
This could be interesting.
I’m particularly interested in seeing the quote on quote “good guys” acting on their worst behavior.

ModeratorI’m also curious if Helga also had magical powers like Emma, if they’re really trying to set parallels? Plus, Ingrid wanting just magical family members would make sense, since she clearly has a prejudice against non magic users.

ModeratorI wonder if this spell is what causes both Rumple and Hook’s secrets to come out in the open. If the mirror makes everybody behave against each other, perhaps neither will no longer feel the need to hide anything, or even worse both rat on each other.

ModeratorJust as an FYI, Gerda is the name of the main girl character in the original Snow Queen story. She’s not the Snow Queens sister, but is the girl who seeks the Snow Queen out after she takes Kai.

ModeratorWho says it involves finding the author? If they have a sorcerer and a fortune teller and a magic hat, you don’t necessarily need the book writer–especially if the real is then writing the book back to what it was originally given all the changes that would be made.
Interesting. So I guess these potential changes would be temporary, if they do happen. For example, say if Regina did meet Robin Hood at the tavern and had her so called “happy ending” with him, I imagine Regina will somehow realize that things feel incomplete without Henry being a part of her life, and that will prompt to reversing all of this. The theme about Season 4B could be about the acceptance of fate and how your own decision making writes it. You can’t just use force to get what you want. You have to properly work for it.

ModeratorYeah I’m not so sure the writers aren’t going to do that. They called episode 311 a reset button. This would be the ultimate reset.
The other thing is that it’s been stated that Operation Mongoose will last into the 2nd half of the Season, so it also sounds too soon for Regina to find the author and get them to change things.

ModeratorI’m not going to lie: I think that is where this is going. Maybe not the good guys becoming villains, but the idea of the villains’ being rewritten so that they don’t make the choices that led them to being villains in the first place.
We have the fortune teller lady in 410 and apparently a flashback to the tavern with RH and Regina, I think we’re looking at Regina actually managing to somehow change what happened not just to her but to Hook and Rumple so that they aren’t as “bad’
The main tricky thing about this is how would they go about making this happen without retconning pivotal events? If Regina and Rumple never did what they did for the Dark Curse to happen, none of them would be in Storybrooke and Henry wouldn’t even exist.

ModeratorDidn’t Elsa say that line though in……White Out I think?
She first says it in “A Tale of Two Sisters”, and then the scene repeats at the start of “White Out.”

ModeratorI’m calling shenanigans. Knowing how close Mitovich is to A&E, he was probably asked not to mention the video.
And even if he didn’t remember, didn’t TVLine stop the “Spoiler Alert” videos during the 2012-2013 season anyway? If they did, then I wouldn’t blame him.
He still made the flub about Lilly being Henry’s girlfriend, when that wasn’t even remotely close, so his track record hasn’t been 100% accurate. At the end of the day, he’s still just a reporter who has made his share of errors. Fortunately, he tends to be more right than wrong.

ModeratorThere seem to be some misconceptions based on an EW interview Eddy and I recently gave with regards to Graham on #OnceUponATime —
— Adam Horowitz (@AdamHorowitzLA) November 1, 2014
Emma does not and did not know Regina killed Graham. As she said to Henry in ep. 108, she saw an autopsy that said he died of natural causes

Some seem to believe we gave an interview where we said we shot and deleted a scene where Emma confronted Regina about Graham. We did not.
— Adam Horowitz (@AdamHorowitzLA) November 1, 2014
There must've been some misunderstanding somewhere but no such scene was ever written or shot or deleted.
— Adam Horowitz (@AdamHorowitzLA) November 1, 2014
@AdamHorowitzLA OK< so I'm not crazy. I've been searching high and low for the alleged quote, found nada so far.

The original video where Matt reported that, which he apparently doesn’t remember: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YkJnTx8MMrc#t=3m55s
Seems like TVLine might have made another flub with that particular news, just like how the initially reported Lily as “Henry’s potential girlfriend.”
