ModeratorTHANK YOU. I have been searching forever for that quote. I knew I had read it somewhere.
I guess they don’t consider it canon?
I recall that only the released deleted scenes are considered canon. Like how that discussed deleted scene of Rumple’s father’s death from “Manhattan” was disregarded in favor of making him Peter Pan, but because that scene had never been released, there was leeway there.

ModeratorI feel like the ratings would have to drop well below the Season 3 ratings to be in the cancellation danger territory. Plus, those higher numbers for the first few Season 4 numbers will still have an effect on the Season 4 ratings average. The ratings average is what they really look at, when deciding the fate of a show. So if Once were to end this Season, I feel like it would come down to cast member contracts expiring (if they do after this Season), or a creative decision to wrap the show up before things to prevent staleness and if the writers are running out of ideas.

ModeratorWith Will’s involvement in this current Season, I do have to ponder if Wonderland’s looking glass portals will somehow tie into this mirror subplot with the Snow Queen.
MatthewPaul
ModeratorYeah no more time jumping portals, please, I’m not really a fan of that OQoffspring theory.
Have seen it mentioned on tumblr that the White King and Queen had a daughter named Lily, but I can’t see any way they could believably connect her with Will.
Only way that would happen without resorting to timey wimey stuff would be if Will and Anastasia had an illegitimate child that was separated from them prior to leaving for Wonderland, but even then I raise my eyebrow. I should clarify that I myself didn’t come up with that OQ offspring theory, but rather I heard it elsewhere and thought I should share it just because we never know with this dang show.

ModeratorThere’s one crack theory about Lily that I don’t believe has popped up in this thread yet. I know people won’t be big fans of this theory, but it’s still an interesting theory to consider as a possibility. And with this show, I certainly wouldn’t put it past the writers to do this sort of plot twist. This theory is that Lily is Regina and Robin Hood’s daughter, who they lost via a time portal. A reason for this being that Lily’s actress looks somewhat like a younger version of Regina. Plus, the tattoo might be a nod to Robin Hood, as he too has an iconic tattoo of his own. Also, if this is true, then Regina will get to experience the same thing Snow and Charming went through with Emma. While I would personally be annoyed with yet more time traveling and family plot twists, at the same time I like the idea of Regina finally getting to put herself in the Charmings’ shoes. Perhaps Regina would even finally start regretting her past actions and move forward on her road to redemption.

ModeratorI’m super excited for the arrival of this film! It looks so good I’ll probably see it on the silver screen. By the way, the release date for USA is December 25, 2014. Sounds like a fun Christmas outing.
Just like how Les Miserables was released 2 years ago. Here’s hoping they didn’t miscast as badly as Russell Crowe, though.

ModeratorIt’s totes Sidney. Even though Regina treats Sidney as a lackey, I think she would still be sad to see such a faithful servant of her’s die after working together all of these years. He was her right-hand man.

ModeratorIt’s so weird to be getting a press release so early. We stopped getting early press releases since mid-Season 2, and not only that, but we get 408’s press release before even getting 406 and 407’s.
As for the hat, not that I defend Rumple cause I don’t in the slightest, but I don’t think the hat has to fully absorb the magical wearer to get the magic. There might be an option to only suck away just the magic itself, because Elsa’s parents apparently wanted to use the hat to take away Elsa’s magic, and I doubt they planned on imprisoning her.
