I love Once Upon A Time because the characters are not one dimensional, especially the villains. “Evil isn’t born, it’s made.” Each major villain has a fairly in depth background that makes us understand why they are making the wrong choices. Regina felt wronged by Snow due to indirectly causing Daniel’s death via telling Cora her secret. Rumple used power as a crutch for his cowardliness, and he plotted for hundreds of years to reunite with his son. The very Dark Curse that Rumple manipulated Regina into casting was solely so Rumple could get to a Land Without Magic. Then there’s Killian “Hook” Jones, who lost both his brother and his lover. Liam’s demise resulted in Killian’s transformation to a life of piracy, and Milah’s death sparked a ruthless long pursuit of revenge against Rumple. For a good many of us, these complexities make us want to root for these characters to conquer their struggle with bad tendencies. We sympathize with these characters thanks to the background knowledge the show has presented.

Very important. For those staying in only the spoiler free sections of the forum, it has been confirmed that episode 408 will be a 2 hour long episode, and as a result it will be airing from 7-9pm on Nov 16th. This does not mean that episode 409 will be airing with 408 to make the 2 hours like the Season 3 finale, but rather they have extended 408 into a double length episode. ABC has given 8 of their shows additional episodes this Season, and as a result Season 4 will now be 23 episodes with the 2 hour long episode 408.

To clarify this extra hour of #OnceUponATime is in ADDITION to the 22 eps we already had planned. So winter finale remains set for 12/14

The surname Fisher might also be a reference to Steveston itself, which is a fishermen town.

    From this Tumblr user:

    Set update!

So we just got back from set, they are still filming but it’s just pouring rain and it’s freezing cold so yeah…

So the day started with Robert shooting a scene where he just walks out of his shop, and it’s snowing.

Next scene, was Lana. Walking, (no snow) stopping at Any Given Sundae, looking up, and going inside.

After that, there was some kind of brawl going on, with almost all the dwarves and Granny. They were fighting, and suddenly they noticed that it was snowing and stopped fighting and looked up.

Then, there was a scene where Jen, Georgina and Elizabeth Lail + dwarves walked all happy through the snow and then there’s Ginny, Josh and Lana walking up to them. Ginny and Josh hugging Jen, while Henry runs towards the group. He hugs Lana, and Jen afterwards. Then Jen hugs Georgina and everyone is smiling and lauching and blah blah blah.

Last scene we saw was Elizabeth Mitchell standing in front of Any Given Sundae. Some dwarves came out of the shop and ran away while Jen and George do their magic. Which seems to be not working.

That’s basically all we saw. A lot of snow, Robert, Beverly, and some of the dwarves came out to see us.

I loved Dreamy a lot (maybe because Belle was only in 3 eps in S1…).

The one I’m going to add to this list is Tiny. That one got a lot of hate for being filler, having bad special effects, etc.

But in the midst of almost too much drama, it was the rare episode where someone found a new home and family–a brief happy ending–and where the heroes actually did some genuine heroing. Anton was a fun character and I’d love to see him come back in the future if they come up with a good reason.

Count me in as someone who enjoyed “Tiny” a lot more than the general consensus seemed to. Anton is a sweet and likable character, we got to see the dark side of David’s twin Prince James, and let’s not forget the great stuff with Rumple at the airport. Seeing Rumple struggle with airport security was fantastic, and that scene with him going through angst in the restroom is such a great dramatic moment for the series.

My guess is maybe this was originally written as an hour long episode, but there were too many scenes that Adam & Eddy didn’t want removed, so ABC gave them to ok to extend the episode to 2 hours.
