I’m just going to say it: this cover makes no sense. S3 was about Regina’s hero journey and they put her iconic VILLAIN image on the cover. And what about the rest of the cast? This is rather unfair for the rest of the gang.
Have to agree with on this one. Typically the DVD/Blu-Ray cover is made from the official poster, but they are modified to feature other characters. For example, the Season 2 DVD/Blu-Ray cover uses the Magic is Coming poster with Emma and the sword, but it still adds Snowing, Regina, Rumple and Hook. But for Season 3, they got lazy and just kept the Regina poster the way it was. What I would have done is use the Jolly Roger in Neverland poster from Season 3A while adding the cast’s profile pics on the top. Either way, I also expect the Oz poster to be used somewhere on the back cover.
Sven looks a little too CGI though that could just be the lighting.
Probably the lighting. They did cast a real reindeer.

I wonder if the trolls will be CGI. Because I don’t think they NEED to be. The trolls they have already shown us look similar -ish to the ones in frozen. I could believe they turn into rocks.
What leads me to believe the troll will be CGI is that Adam specifically said John was “the voice” of the troll.

we’ve got : Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Hans, Sven, potential-Elsa-Anna-mother, and the Rock Trolls.
Keep in mind, he’s probably just doing the voice for one episode. And the troll does play a rather important part in the story.
