bummer….but they had released sneek peeks as well as the first 8min of The Miller’s Daughter didn’t they ?
Yes but they released the 8min clip AFTER Paley fest when many people saw it at Paley and then reported back to various forums and fan sites, so there was very little reason to NOT release the first 8mins. They also released it after they had released several sneak peeks.
Most of the individual sneak peeks for The Miller’s Daughter were also included in those first 8 minutes, too. A scene with Rumple and Cora, and the Rumbelle phone call were the only sneak peeks from the episode that weren’t in those first 8 minutes. I expect a good portion of any script teases from this episode to be ones already included in the sneak peeks, too. Lazy.

ModeratorAside from the Official ABC podcast for Once and this very podcast, I don’t listen to other Once podcasts. I do listen to podcasts for other shows, and for the most part they are pretty good.

My guess is ABC already renewed Once for a Season 3, but they’re just holding off on officially announcing it.
ABC usually announces show renewal as a block… they then start announcing the new shows little by little to build interest and excitement … they have been doing that pretty much since I started watching TV.

.They’ll make the official announcement at the upfronts in less than 2 weeks. They likely already made their renewal decision behind the scenes, especially if pre-production for Season 3 already looks like it’s happening.

ModeratorConsidering the creators have said that Ariel won’t show up this Season, I highly doubt Laine is playing her. Why would they cast Ariel and even film her for the Season finale if they said she wasn’t showing up until Season 3 at the earliest? Something doesn’t add up….

Traditionally, Peter Pan has always been played by a female but I don’t think we’re going to see this in the series either. 😉 But then……….we had Jack, so one never quite knows 🙂
Not in the movies. Bobby Driscoll voiced him in the Disney film, and Jeremy Sumpter played him in the 2003 film.

ModeratorET’s comment about Bae possibly being Peter is pure speculation on their part, I imagine. It’s such a popular theory that even reporters believe it will happen. I don’t buy it until we get direct confirmation from either the creators or the show itself.

ModeratorI found a picture of Andrew Airlie, and is it me or does he look like an older version of Colin? If it was intentional, they might be still making a slight nod to that tradition.
MatthewPaul
ModeratorThe official press release has Andrew Airlie listed as George Darling, so nope Colin is not playing him.
MatthewPaul
ModeratorAlso noticed nobody is listed as Peter, which indicates that the Peter we seemingly see in the promo is likely CGI. Either it’s Peter’s shadow, or he appears that way to hide his full appearance until next Season.
MatthewPaul
ModeratorNow that we have confirmed that this is a fake, I am locking this thread.
