Honestly, I think the popular theory that Neal saw the drawing of Rumple’s dagger in the box would have been better than what we actually got. Just a page in the typewriter saying “I know you’re Baelfire” just felt underwhelming.
[adrotate group="5"]The NBA All Stars Game and it being President’s Day Weekend also likely hurt Once and everything else last night. Since people have off today, a good portion of them probably went out last night instead of watching TV. Still, I am pretty disappointed in these ratings. I fear some of the audience really has given up on the show, both because of the frustrating writing and the constant breaks.

She should be thankful for them. If she had succeeded in destroying Snow, Charming, or Emma…she wouldn’t have Henry. I want her to realize this but I don’t think it’s gonna happen anytime soon.
It seems Regina just wants to live in denial. In her twisted view, Henry is NOT Emma’s son nor is he Snow and Charming’s grandson. She is still the one who raised Henry over the years and has grown too attached to him to think otherwise.

True she didn’t know Henry was their grandson for the first 10 years, but afterwards you’d think her reaction would be a bit different. Now she will find out that he’s also the grandson of Rumple, which will make the situation even more awkward.

The bad was pretty bad, and it’s what led to the destruction of their relationship, so I can buy that those memories would override memories of the good years.
What if Hook acted as a dad to him… He is Milah’s son, after all. And it would be the ideal opportunity to fill him with hate towards his father. “Your mom killed your dad” is a pretty ideal way to do that. He joins the pirates to travel between lands and one day gets left behind.
This is one of the reasons I’ve been hoping that Bae was in Neverland, to see how Hook would relate to Milah’s son. Would he tell him about his father killing his mother? Or would he not want to lay that sort of torment on the kid? We’ve seen that he couldn’t destroy the shawl, because it was something Milah had made. Well, Milah made Bae too, that kid was part of her, so would Hook seek to destroy him? Or would he get to know him and nurture a friendship with him, so he could keep part of Milah in his life? Judging by his handling of the shawl, which was merely a piece of fabric she’d touched, I would imagine that Hook wouldn’t be able to bring himself to intentionally harm a kid who shared her blood.
That doesn’t necessarily mean that Bae didn’t find out about Rumple killing Milah though. Everyone on Hook’s crew knew what happened to her, so if Bae was hanging out around them in Neverland, chances are someone let it slip, even if Hook didn’t tell him directly.
I agree. Don’t forget, there’s a gap of time between when Rumple became the dark one and when he lost Bae. It probably wasn’t too long, but long enough for Bae to have plenty of bad memories of the dark one’s evil deeds. Hook also says “what makes you think his son wants to be found? do that boy a favor”, which also hints that he and Bae have already met and is well aware that he’s trying to avoid reuniting with his father.
Cora’s alter ego, the Queen of Hearts, is also largely associated with red. If Cora is Rose Red, this would make sense.
While I disagree with the original poster, I will say it is becoming a pet peeve of mine that the writers have been a bit too predictable. Even for those not actively looking at spoilers, it wasn’t that hard to figure out a lot of the mysteries so far.
I need to rewatch tonight’s episode, but doesn’t Neal also say “I’ve seen what has happened to the people he makes deals with”? Could he be referring to Hook? If so, he may very well already know that his father killed his own mother. That would certainly further explain Neal’s disgust at seeing Rumple again.

Wow that’s a great question who knows how he ended up taking a detour. Those beans are hard to come by but it makes more sense that Bae would have found one in Neverland then came over here or else he’d be over 200 years old too.
I always assumed that when they said he traveled “through space and time”, he also timetraveled when entering our world. Honestly, that would have been enough for me. As for an explanation for how he did take a detour, my guess has to do with a lack of a compass or simple navigational skills. Perhaps navigation skills are needed to travel by bean just like with the portal made in Lake Nostos. Nevertheless, there is still a lot of needed explanation.
