One more thing to the ‘this is all about destiny vs freewill’ thing

In the first episode Snow white is in despair because the curse is going to be put on them. Charming want to gather the armies, so to speak, but snow says “There is no point. The future is written” Charming-“No I refuse to believe that”

The fate of fairytale characters is written black on white in the stories, they are allways the same. It is their destiny. Will they (the “evil”) be able to escape. (I say the “evil” because the good offcouse allready get there happy ending by the will of destiny.)

Hm… actually i think there is a lot more to it. Take ‘the Golden bird’
    This fairytale has:
    -apples with a speciel meaning
    -A Savior Bird
-A brave boy whom goes to look for the bird
-A Royal who is cursed because of the loss of love

    It fits perfectly 🙂

One more thing i just thought about

Blue Fairy is the old star, she is dying. But is that because she has given in to ‘Destiny’ she no longer believes or have any hope left that she herself can change things or escape her destiny of being a lonely star just hanging in the sky.
Remember Belles words to Grumpy ” Love is hope it FUELS our dreams”

That is actually the same story as with Snow White and Evil Queen. Snow White has love therebye hope. Her dreams are still intact. Evil Queen has lost all that. Has given in to her destiny.

The hole that can never be filled in Regina. Is like a black hole in the universe sucking all the matter around it in. And if it was big enough, it would suck in the whole universe and still not be filled.

This is why Fairies can be compared to exploding stars:
    Reul Ghorm=Blue Star=White Dwarf=Old Star
    Nova=Stella Nova=Super Nova/New Star

    Episode. 14_Dreamy:
Blue Fairy is sitting in the sky. Nova brings her some fairydust. Blue says two important things “dust is what powers the world” and “Nova, you really are a dreamer. Your journey is just beginning”
    If as Stars:
Old star is sitting in the sky. It is running out of fuel and power, it’s dying. That’s why it shines with a bluish white light. A new star has power. It shines with joy and energy, its life is just beginning.

    Later ep. 14:
Mary and Emma talk about the annual holiday, minersday. They need volunteers to help the nuns sell candles. Mary explains that the nuns used to trade candles for coal.
    If as Stars:
Stars need fuel in order to shine their light on the world. They need coal.

    Later ep. 14:
Scene at the school where the nuns are signing up people to help sell candles. There are star symbols everywhere on the walls. Cut out stars, astronomic pictures, star constellations and so on.
Grumpy/Leroy walks in and wants to sign up with Mary, she doesn’t believe him. He says “Maybe I saw the light. Maybe someone showed me”
Nova/Astrid walks in and tells Blue Fairy/ that she is sorry she accidentally ordered to much helium.
    If as Stars:
Again with the candle light symbolism. A star showed Leroy the light

A star is fueled by or produces helium. When a star produces too much helium it explodes as a Super Nova this is the clumsy kind. It can also explode into a White Dwarf that’s the little old blue dying kind….
.Come on people !!! Tell me if I’m wrong.

    ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

Something else on Grumpy and Nova’s love wich I find very sad:
Grumpy was Dreamy when he had hope and love. He was told he could never be with Nova. Because he is dwarf she is fairy and that’s a no go. Dreamy looses his hope and becomes Grumpy.

Belle ones said to Dreamy “ Love is hope, it fuels our dreams”

Dwarfs live in the underworld and never sees the light. The underworld can never be in the heavens. The shadow flis the light.

Astrid said to Leroy “ Someone ones told me. You can do anything as long as you can dream it” I wonder WHO told her that, and if we will ever know who.
Is there any hope for them ??

    ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

This is the plot- DESTINY is the biggest baddest wolf.
Destiny is the law of everything, can they escape it ? Do they have free will ?

Scene between Grumpy and Nova, when Grumpy comes to tell her they can’t be together:
*Grump “Im a dwarf you are a fairy. I belong in the mines. That is never going to change”
(He believes it is his destiny and that there is nothing he can do about it)
*Nova “Dreamy. You control what changes in your life. Don’t forget. You are speciel”
    (She believes in free will)
*Grump “Why ? What makes us different from any other dwarf and fairy ?”
    *Nova “Our love !”

But then he denies it and says it is all just dreams that they need to forget. đŸ˜„

Last thing I’m wondering about. Will the Blue Star, Reul Ghorm explode in the end ?

Yes nuanced I agree. But to many nuancess makes for one muddybrown mess of a pond/swanlake (sorry I think in images a lot)

Im just saying, she is at the moment the tragic figure in this story and i would prefer that story to be told to the end. Like- okay maybe a bad comparison but; Think Thelma and Louise movie- what would that have been if they hadn’t driven over the edge in the end ?

The blue fairy= a White dwarf (the collapsed star sort)
*Remember Reul Ghorm can be translated as blue star in old gealic
*If you look at a picture of a star that has collapsed into a white dwarf,
it does not look white, it looks blue
*She is associated with dwarfs because she is small-
and is connected with dwarf Grumphy through Nova
*Nova is also a name of a collapsing star- the super nova, but that is of a more clumsy kind

A white dwarf produces no new energy (no new magic?) it is running out cooling down, dying- meanwhile if it is close enough to other stars it can suck the energy or mass from them and become so heavy that they collapse even more and become a black hole. :ugeek:
Blue Fairy is trying to suck some new energy/new magic by entering real world in an attempt to stay alive. But a white dwarf is infact already a dead star.

    Something else:
The Stolen Child- by William Butler Yeats
This poem was used in the movie A.I. wich was an interpretation of pinnochio

    WHERE dips the rocky highland
Of Sleuth Wood in the lake,
    There lies a leafy island
    Where flapping herons wake
    The drowsy water rats;
There we’ve hid our faery vats,
    Full of berrys
    And of reddest stolen cherries.
    Come away, O human child!
To the waters and the wild
With a faery, hand in hand,
For the world’s more full of weeping than you can understand.

Where the wave of moonlight glosses
The dim gray sands with light,
    Far off by furthest Rosses
We foot it all the night,
    Weaving olden dances
    Mingling hands and mingling glances
    Till the moon has taken flight;
    To and fro we leap
    And chase the frothy bubbles,
While the world is full of troubles
    And anxious in its sleep.
    Come away, O human child!
To the waters and the wild
With a faery, hand in hand,
For the world’s more full of weeping than you can understand.

    Where the wandering water gushes
    From the hills above Glen-Car,
    In pools among the rushes
That scarce could bathe a star,
    We seek for slumbering trout
    And whispering in their ears
    Give them unquiet dreams;

    Leaning softly out
From ferns that drop their tears
    Over the young streams.
    Come away, O human child!
To the waters and the wild
With a faery, hand in hand,
For the world’s more full of weeping than you can understand.

    Away with us he’s going,
    The solemn-eyed:
He’ll hear no more the lowing
Of the calves on the warm hillside
Or the kettle on the hob
    Sing peace into his breast,
Or see the brown mice bob
Round and round the oatmeal chest.
For he comes, the human child,
To the waters and the wild

With a faery, hand in hand,
For the world’s more full of weeping than he can understand.

In this poem fairies are seen as something vile, something that lures human children into the dark forest. Only to grab them and keep them, for themselves. Because they need it, they crave something living. because life is what they do not have themselves and what is more alive then a new little child.

Much like the above star or even the black hole sucking and demanding more and more. A hole that can never be filled
Da da da DAAAMM !! 😈

The Fox from ‘the little prince’ for Henry.
Not a fairytale though. But the show is frightfully lacking of talking animals 🙂

Yes ectactly. Fix it with Henry. But also I’m thinking. Dont let the story be about her getting redeemed in the end. To me it would be much more interesting if they told it tragically. And not all of the characters should end in one big happy ending. Thats almost never good for a story.

She can still be loved, by Henry and forgiven maybe, by Snow white.

But perhabs my feelings about this will change somewhere along the road. If they could tell it in a good way. I’m not totally writing it off.
