GrimmsisterParticipant
Im ready for season 7 🙂
I think I doo the same thing every year, prior too and in the beginning of the season-I Try coming back,,, getting all exited and then I give up in the middle of the season. I definantly think this is gonna be last season for this show though. 7 is the magic fairytale number so that will be quite fitting afterall.
I doo like this new concept they got goin- A new city, a different feel, adult Henry… bummed about the Charmings, Zelena and Emma not being in the show that much though, but we will see,,, change is good 🙂
[adrotate group="5"]GrimmsisterParticipantOne of the worst parts of this show has always been the language. The way that they talk about happily ever afters and villains and heroes is just stupid. They could have had Henry talk about feeling restless and wanting to go out on his own without him using silly fairytale language. No one talks like that. No one thinks like that. The show did that all better in Season 1 when everyone talked more like real people.
I agree with this.. I tried watching some scenes with the sound of and just imagine a dialogue I find fitting 🙂
GrimmsisterParticipantWow!! Once is still a thing and my profil still works here. Its been awhile 🙂 Just wanted to say Hi to all familiar “faces” on here. I miss Once from when it was good and I miss chatting on here. Hope yall are enjoying yourselves, hope Once is still watchable for you. To me it is only a fond memory from the first season, I try to erase the memory of the others. – Fairytale kisses to Y’all xxx –
GrimmsisterParticipantUh Once is back!!!…. I only just realised.
These clips are… not getting me in the mood… sometimes I just can’t with this show, they really need to end this story soon.

But I hope they will have fun filming it. It could turn out good fun to watch too. I think I heard someone mention in an interview that O’Donoghue was a really good singer and a dance and song on a pirate ship- yea I can see that happening.

I doesnt fit the show, if they had made more fun with themselves and maybe experimented more with other far-out-episode they could have pulled a musical episode off, but now it will be.. really wierd…
GrimmsisterParticipantIf you dont mind, I will give my two cents on this because I partly agree with darkonedearie.
It can be a little discouraging reading all those negative comments sometime. For me, when I read the negative comments, I can sometime feel kind of deflated.. and sometimes ..with the little things, it looks kind of nitpicky, especially if it is written and not accompanied ever by something positive.
I find I mostly like to have convos about all the good stuff I can find on the show, the negative I also see, but I don’t always find the conversations about those things all that interesting. Of course.. sometimes they can be… but variation, I would say, is the best thing. This whole forum does feel a lot more negative this past season than ever before.
GrimmsisterParticipantSo much negativity against writers and the show as a whole. Oh lard! 😉 … No worries though.. im only pointing it out..
I agree as far as the writing for Once is not always great and that it is very flawed at times, but I believe the writers care for their own show and that they WANT the fans to like it, because they want to give the fans a GOOD story (what they themselves consider good) and not just because they want to make big money (though Im sure that is also very nice).
In one interview I saw with A and E, they talked about how awsome they thought the fans of Once was and that they were surprised to see how the fanbase of Once had evolved. They talked about how awesome it was to see how the fans cared about eachother and that this was the best thing that had come from the show- the fact that it brought people together—That to me shows they care. In my opinion they are just two Nerds with Big Hearts (Adam and Eddy, I havent seen any interviews with the other writers)
I don’t like everything they do with the show, but its their story to tell. No matter what way they tell it there will always be fans that would want it different. You cant as a writer change your story everytime it gets critiqued by fans. If I was a writer one Once I wouldn’t change the story after what the fans thought, because they think so many different things, Im sure I would listen to critique from other writers and storytellers or such, but not fans. We cant know if A and E listens to critique from whatever their sources are.
Im not trying to change anybody’s mind by writing this, its just my opinion. I believe the writers care for the fans and that they care about what happens in their own show… why would they want to spend this many years on something they were not passionate about? But its alright if you don’t think so, you are allowed whatever your opinion is 🙂 I just say that because sometimes people on some forums will get upset whenever I don’t agree with them.
GrimmsisterParticipantThat picture from the editing room, my guess is its from the dark realm. Because its well… dark 😉 So this place is gonna be like a forest, kinda like Neverland, only darker.
GrimmsisterParticipantThere is no reason to care about the fans. The writers of this show do not care about the fans.Quote
I disagree. I think the writers of Once care alot about the fans. In interviews, I think it is obvious to hear that they care for the fanbase of Once. Maybe too much even- that is part of the reason their storylines gets so screwed up sometimes, because they try to give the fans everything they want. Or atleast they try to give us lots of stuff.. To some fans (myself included all that stuff is just too much) to other fans, the stuff is just the wrong thing, because they wished for something else… but the writers can not please everyone.
