First I thought WTF!! when I read your theory, but have to admit it makes some sence.. but you mean Regina is Simba then right? because of the pride rock reference? or perhaps Henry, but not the Wicked Witch right?
Im thinking WW would then be a “Scar like” character. In addition to being either the sister or aunt of Regina, like Scar was brother of Mufasa and uncle of Simba. That makes me think Regina could be referenced as the ‘Lion lacking courage’ from “wizard of Oz”.
There is also more Lion references coming our way with the Robin Hood storyline, because of the tatoo on his arm and we know Robin Hood is loyal too King Lionheart, in the original story.

Ive recently watched the tvshow ‘Swingtown’ with Lana Parrilla.
That was a great show- great script, great art design of the 70’s, great acting.. too bad they cancelled it after just one season.

Could she be green because she’ve used magic the wrong way or taken in too much of it at one time.? Like Regina said to Rumple when she wanted that spell book- That she didnt care if it turned her green??
Just gotta say that I love that the age old arrow through the apple motif can be used as a perfect little logo for this ship. Arrows and apples have just always gone together. Wonder if that occurred to Kitswitz at all when they were figuring out who to put Regina with.

Regarding the arrow through the apple thing I bet, and hope, that there will be a scene, perhabs the first meeting between Regina and Robin, where Regina walkes in to the merry mens camp and sees Robin and his merry men having a bow shooting contest. Robin shots his bow and the arrow goes through a red apple. Everyone laughs enjoying themselves, Regina looks at them sourly not knowing yet whothat is.

And that guy who plays Robin is a complete hunk, the best one thats been on since Graham. He really reminds me of Russel Crowe who also played Robin Hood in a movie some years back.
CaptainEala, that vid you’ve put up is so well made, makes me laugh with joy 😉 Though I do hope they will have a bit of back and forth banter and fights before they end up together, not really what the vid suggests.
Very interesting question. Have never really thought about that but yea most stories with magical Worlds are pretty medieval looking.
Can we name any movies, novels, tvshows etc that have a modern type World where there is magic?? I sure cant think of any right now..
Imagining what such a World would be like I agree with Spoekenkieker that religion would still play as big a part as it does now if not actually an even bigger part. The presence of magic would, I think, put in a certain kind of chaotic aspect to the World, if some people could change the wheather for instance too their own liking or something like that, that would in some sence mess with the universal order of Things wouldnt it? And so the regular people would turn to faith even more then in our World.
I imagine some of the Technologies we have would be replaced with magic ones because that would be easier, like lamps and lights. Tv’s and communicational devices. Its hard to imagine really what such a World would be, maybe we would have all gone insanly powerhungry and most likely blown up the World long time ago… come to think of it perhabs thats why they never get any further than the medieval times 🙂
for me the Pan character lacked something- I had Regis Loisels evil Pan in my head so there was a lot to live up too. They just didnt get the mood/emotion right. And I really hated the idea that he was Rumples father =(
