ParticipantYes ! and it probably isn’t someone who’s story, in the book, is depicted in a bad way or at all. It would make sence if it was Blue fairy writing the stories and showing herself in a good light.

ParticipantI think you are right Price’ This hole thing is about choice and freewill. They dont have to be what the fairytales dictates- That just gave me another thought-

Participantcan they be responsible for their actions if it is so that their Love has been literally ripped from them?
At some point I think it is said that loosing your true love whether it be romantic love or love of a child is like loosing that side of you that is capable of love. Loosing the ability to love or feel compasionate. Thats pretty much the definition of a psychopath, if Im not mistaking.
But that was not who they were before.
Fairytales can be seen in the light that all of the characters within the story is basically different sides of the same person. So having one part of you ripped away- then your not you- and should you ever become the hole you again- how would you then be held accauntable for the actions you took when you were another person ??
😕
Confused? I know I am!

ParticipantThe yellow bug she drives is a Golden bird.
Yellow Bug-Golden Bird 😀 Fire BirdWhen she first drives into town with Henry there’s a shortcut in some electric wire and firery sparks fly above there heads.
Often when Regina comes into the policestation and stands opposite Emma, The Fire escape/exit door is right behind her.

ParticipantKind of a side remark. But this has gotten my mind racing right now.
What Henry and the other characters sees written in the book, is not the same as what we see.. when ever there is a bit of texst that we as viewers can read its from either of the two farytales ‘the golden bird’-‘snow white and rose red’ or am I wrong ?
If it is so. Then why ? could be just a little twist for us to be confused, or not really have eny special meaning. Or it could also have to do with perception/perspective. The characters read those fairytales but that is not what it is actually all about. Im rambling here- sorry 😳
just some thoughts not put together right 😆Grimmsister
ParticipantPriceofMagic wrote:We know the majority of Season 1’s characterers are in Henry’s book with perhaps the exception of Rumplestiltskin who may have just been mentioned in passing in Snow and Charming’s story (when they visited him in his cell in the mine).Ah ! well there you go 😀

ParticipantThis is very interesting hadn’t really crossed my mind before… yes the stories in henrys book are told from a certain point of view. Whos point of view?
It must be that the stories in the book are told in the original way in which we also know all the old fairytales. Set after all the rules. So they are told in the way a certain person want them to take place. Like a recipe. This is making me think you can compare them to a curse, a curse is also ‘written’ they talk about how Regina wrote stuff in to the curse in order to make it act the way she wanted it. And when she breaks Maleficents glass globe we see that it is written on a scroll of paper. Maybe the book is a “curse” that “someone” wrote in order to make all those things happen that way… Then the question is who needed these stories to take place the way that they did? Could be Rumple, I don’t remember if there is any of his story in there, cause that would speak against it I think.
And then maybe this is also connected to the library being closed up. Its under the town clock right? I think this is important somehow. Its where the Beast/the dragon is kept hidden under ground… something very secretive going on there…
This is also interesting if you believe that August Wayne Booth is a reference to the real life author Wayne C Booth who wrote something about what he calls the ‘implied author’ which differentiates between the actual author and the person the reader believes in, or something like that. Again it has to do with point of view and which perspective you have.
