ParticipantI think that’s maybe for in between shooting scenes. It is starting to get very cold up here. I would -not- wanna be outside in some of the costumes they’re wearing hahaha. They probably all have some loose fitting clothing that they can wear on top of their costumes on breaks.

ParticipantI agree as well! The only questions that should be answered are the ones that are actually important to the characters themselves. I was quite pleased with how Lost did that and I’ll be happy if OUAT does the same thing. Sometimes it’s better to leave things open ended too, as the fans can be very vociferous in their disappointment if it doesn’t turn out their way.

Yeah…This episode opened her up to do a lot of different things she couldn’t do before. What do you think of her being redeemed? Do you think she even should, in reference to the fact that she is the ‘villain’ of almost the whole show?
She can be redeemed just as Rumpel can, but it needs to be a LONG LONG journey for the both of them. It’s unfair to me that they are writing Rumpel’s redemption as him actually trying and failing – but still trying – to make a change in his life while they write Regina’s as “Hey look, all these other people are the reason she raped, murdered or cursed everyone around her, she’s not a bad person. Other people -made her that way-” which is just… Disgusting, to me. She’s done terrible things and needs to take responsibility for them before she can even begin the road to redemption.

Participant^What Stelio said completely.
I also sort of think that right now… Any romantic relationship for Regina would be sort of weird to me. She needs to concentrate on herself and Henry.

ParticipantThanks Phee! I appreciate it (:
I feel super accomplished since I finally figured out how to get two seperate gifs into one graphic! So I fixed the Whale graphic from up there with what I was originally trying to do but didn’t know how x)
…I… I think… Whale might be my new favourite character.
Huh.

Another point that has bothered me or a little while about the place of women on this show is that they are all looking for their “happy ending” and somehow, the only way to achieve that goal, is to find a men, settle down, get married and start poppin’ babies.
Also on this note, this is heavily what the show is about. True love, and hope. That is the basis for the entire show. Every character, not just the women, want true love. Because it is the most powerful magic in the world. For some, it’s not just a romantic true love. It can be the love of family, as well. And I agree with Crest that saying the ideals of family being “conservative” ideals is ridiculous. Everyone wants to have a family, parents. Not necessarily children, I certainly don’t, but why do you suddenly shame a character who finds a love for a child she wasn’t ready for before? I like that Emma’s focus is on herself, friends/family and her child, and not on boning every random guy that comes along like most female main characters do on other shows.

ParticipantI don’t think we would see any of the others in SB. I think Whale was brought over specifically because he had a connection, and Regina wrote particular people into the curse to take with her. For example she takes Jefferson from Wonderland, but she doesn’t take the others from there because she doesn’t want them/know them (not taking Cora, for instance) Whale was someone she knew and either a) had a purpose for or b) She knew what he did to her, and wanted to punish him.

ParticipantI agree with that tweet from Adam 100%. Assumingly his world will include Dracula – and I don’t care what you say, vampires are magical. Werewolves are magical. A headless horseman is magical. They just have an inherent magic to them. It’s not a magic they can harness to start casting spells and changing the world around them, but it’s a magic in their veins that allows their body – or doesn’t allow it – to do things that a non-magical human being can/can’t do.
