ParticipantYeah, Regina did seem to clutch her necklace rather tightly in that scene. I wonder if it’s anything important?

ParticipantPinocchio is a cute story, but I’d much rather August be someone more…like the rest of you have said, cooler. I think that’s why some of us have latched onto the Baelfire, Peter Pan and Wizard of Oz theories. Just anyone but that wooden puppet! 😆

You think maybe that scene gave away too much too soon?
Exactly. I actually had a theory that maybe Bae grew up to be the Mad Hatter, but everyone shot down that theory. 😆 But I can’t shake the idea that it might be true.

Now I wanna know who he was talking on the phone with in the new sneak peek; my money’s on it either being Bae or Jefferson

I do agree that the writers would be smart to maintain Mr. Gold’s mystique. Next to August, he’s the biggest mystery on the show.
Rumpel’s mystery definitely draws you towards his character. That and his extremely hot accent 😉
The season finale will be rather bittersweet. As much as I don't won't this season to end, I am seriously freaking out about Belle's return! It shall be epic!!!I KNOW!!!
I don’t care what happens, it will be awesome to see her again! Just for the love of God, DON’T KILL HER!!! 😥

ParticipantI feel like it would be difficult for anyone to try to actively overthrow Rumpel. Regina is the easier target. She openly goes after people and turns potential allies into enemies. Strategicly, she’s the weaker player. Mr. Gold knws that Emma is powerful, and instead of making an enemy out of her, he tries to warm up to her and create an alliance.
Rumpel also has a slight leg up because he’s made deals with so many people in both Storybrooke and Fairytale land. If they try to go against him, he could always throw in their face that they were the ones who contacted him and agreed to a deal without asking questions. The moral ambiguity of some of the characters is very complex and confusing sometimes. Sometimes the “good guys” side with the “bad guys.”

ParticipantThe writers cut a very important scene between Jefferson and August in episode 1×17, “”Hat Trick.” I think they did that for a reason. I think they’re working together and that’s who august was talking to on the phone. And if that’s the case, then maybe “The Return” pertains to Jefferson’s return, and not Kathryn’s. Maybe Jefferson returns from Wonderland or some other land.
I’ve been saying it sense February. Jefferson is going to turn out to be Rumpel’s son. Mark my words.

ParticipantWHOA. These sneak peeks are AMAZING!!! 😀 😀 😀 Ok, did anyone else think that the phone August was using looked a little “Oz-Like?” And who was he talking to? I have a feeling it was Baelfire.
And I loved the exchange between Mr. Gold and Regina. Guys, Mr. Gold is BOSS. :ugeek:
