I like the idea that Regina has her heart locked up in a box, (well, not like it, coz it’d be super sad, but I like it as a plot point). There wouldn’t be any brainwashing needed because Belle would be numb and wouldn’t remember anything of their love.
That may very well be the case. We’ve been speculating for months about who’s hearts are in Regina’s volt. We’ve gone from David, to Kathyrn, to Mary Margaret and even Mr. Gold. But the most plausible and sensible choice would actually be Belle. We know for a fact that Regina has her locked up. We’re not exactly sure why, but we do know it’s for a very specific reason that has yet to be revealed to us. So, Regina taking Belle’s heart actually makes more sense. Regina probably has the hearts of all her slaves and victims, so there’s no doubt in my mind that she has Belle’s. And on top of that, taking Belle’s heart and controlling her would effect Mr. Gold. When Mr. Gold finally finds Belle, he’ll probably expect her hug and kiss him, but sense Regina has control of her heart, she’ll probably pull away and declare her hatred of him. That would unhinge him. But that’s exactly what Regina wants. An emotionlly vulnerable Mr. Gold equals an easy win for Regina.
Great points! I’m almost 99.999% sure that Regina has Belle’s heart. Poor Belle. 😥

Hi Everyone.
Huge fan of the show. Watch it with my daughters every week.
I’d say Mr. Gold is my favorite character but I feel an August obsession coming on.
Here to meet other addicts who can help get me through the next couple weeks of waiting for the next episode.
*High Five* I love Mr. Gold too. 😀 Such an amazingly deep and complex character.
I’m also slowly falling in love with August. And if he turns out to be Rumpel’s son, I’ll love him even more. 😀

ParticipantAnother Rumpel girl! *High Five*
Trust me, you’re not alone.
Welcome to the forums! 😀

ParticipantSweet Jesus, I hope you’re right! I am not diggin’ the whole Pinnochio theory AT ALL.
I’d also like to add that Mr. Gold told Leroy in episode 1×14, “Dreamy,” that he hated nuns. And of course, when he says “nuns” he really means fairies. And after watching Desperate Souls and Skin Deep, it’s made quite clear that most of Rumpel’s decisions are motivated by the love. In his case, that would be Bae and Belle. So the fact that Rumpel holds so much hatred for the fairies tells me that it probably has something to do with the fairies. Maybe they took Bae off to Neverland to protect him from Rumpel. That may also be why he was so desperate to get his hands on the fairy wand. Maybe the only way to gain access into Neverland is by using the wand of a fairy.
And I also agree with you about the way August looked in the promo. He looked terribly frightened. Sort of like what a person would look like if they were forced to kill someone they cared about. And I’d like to give you big YUP on your observation on the August’s appearamce. He looks NOTHING like Fairytale land Pinnochio. This show has been very good at casting children who look EXACTLY like the adult actors. Little Snow is a perfect example of that.
Now, look at Bae…
And now look at August…
Um, yeah. BOOM. 😀

The Dungeons? I didn’t even consider that as a possibility. That’s would be very interesting. However, Regina needs to be very watchful of the nurse and the janitor who know about Belle. There’s always the possibility that they could be spies or looking for a way to escape themselves.
My hubbie and I were talking about that yesterday and he commented that the nurse and the janitor looked like a couple of the folks who were with EQ when she cast the circle to initially enact dark curse. (I’ll have to go back and double check that.) If that is the case, they offered bits of themselves in return for a life of luxury and power, which apparently they didn’t get. It will be interesting to see what part they have to play, if any at all.
WHOA. 😯 😯 😯 I didn’t even think of that! You may be right! Good eye!

ParticipantI’m still trying to figure out what’s Rumpel’s role in all of this. He always seems to be at the center of the show’s most important storylines. He always has his hand in numerous different deals. So, how will this play into the finale? Mr. Gold is not only influencing Regina, but now Emma and Mary Margaret. And to be honest, I’d add August to that growing list as well.

I still can’t shake the feeling that August is actually there to help Mr. Gold. I think he wants to return the dagger to him. I think the episode will lead us to believe that August is there to kill Mr. Gold, but at the very end of the episode it’ll be revealed that he’s actualy there to return the dagger to him.
I like this theory. We’ve yet to see Mr. Gold and August in a scene together and I think that’s for a reason. Maybe Mr. Gold thinks August is going to kill him because he has the dagger, but then the writers will throw a curve ball at us and August will actually return the dagger to him.
…or at least hope he does. 😆

I think there is no chance that Pinocchio got turned into a clock. That seems bizarre. Though i don’t want him to be Pinocchio. And i think the writers have done a lot of meaningless hints in the past so the Pinocchio hints could all be red herrings as well.
I completely agree. Besides, a lot of people (including myself) have noticed that many of the show’s episode stills and behind the scenes photos tend to be very misleading. So combined with that, I’ll bet money that August is not Pinocchio. Personally, I think he’ll turn out to be Peter Pan or Rumpel’s son.
Did anyone see the article where the producers confirmed that they’ll be able to do Peter Pan? Here’s the link:

ParticipantOk, this is going to sound twisted, but a minor theory that originated with hjbau has got me thinking that Mr. Gold will end up killing someone by the end of the season. And personally, I think it’ll be August. And on top of that, I have a sneaking suspicion that August is also Baelfire. Maybe Mr. Gold gets a hold of the dagger and ends up stabbing August, and in August’s dying moments reveals that he’s Bae.
OH THE HUMANITY!!! 😥 😥 😥
Why is everything about Rumepl so freaking sad? 😥
