Hey guys! I decided to come out of my delurker mode. I’ve almost caught up on this thread, over 800 pages! Thats awesome! A massive thank you for the lovely comments about my last video, I’m really overwhelmed! 😀
So I guess the big question right now is where’s Neal? ( I hope I’ve done the spoiler tags correctly)
All these rumors and paps reports coming from the set have been driving crazy! It still baffles me how someone can say they are almost certain the ‘death’ is in 3×16 and then in the next sentence say they haven’t seen it being filmed. Â I can understand why everyone is jumping to conclusions (myself included) and I have found myself feeling down over the lack of MRJ sightings. But when I think about it logically, from the story perspective nothing about these rumors add up. Â We are two episodes into 3B and we are still none the wiser to what the writers have planned for Neal. Â All we know is he’s missing in Storybrooke.
I was expecting to see him and Belle off on their adventure to save Rumple by now or at least has some kind of context to why he wasn’t at Emma’s door in New York. However we only know he traveled with the group to Regina’s castle.
Frustrating as it is, I think the writers are setting up his arc in 3B to be a very slow burn. Â It wouldn’t surprise me if they continue to make us guess where Neal is for a few more episodes. Narratively it makes no sense to build up Neal’s disappearance like they are now, only to have him reppear to be killed immediately in 3×16.
I personally think Neal is captured somewhere (possibly Oz) or under a different type of curse from the everyone else. I think he won’t make an appearance until the finale. Â I still truly believe Neal will see Emma and Henry again! And we are going to see him fight like hell for his second chance. HopeForSwanfire!
MsKt86ParticipantI’ve just caught up on the last few posts and I agree with all the things you’ve guys have posted.
I won’t lie but last night’s episode left me feeling very deflated and the promo for next week didn’t make feel much better.  But I’m still holding onto the belief that better things will come our way. There is always hope right?
Anyway I want to share a conversation I had with my boyfriend about the whole love triangle. He is very much the casual viewer and he’s not emotional attached to any ship. (I don’t think he even knows what the term ‘shipping’ means)
So when I got really annoyed over the episode he asked me why, because it was obvious to him that Emma will have a relationship with Hook. As he put it ‘everyone knows the main couple can’t just get back together straight away, where is fun it that? It’s a TV show after all.’
We all know  Hook isn’t the right guy for her but in any love story there has to be an obstacle in the way and in this case it’s Hook. He’s the added drama and will probably be the reason why Neal will fight for Emma and not walk away this time.  He said to me that Emma and Neal will end up together the whole Hook thing is just part of the story of how they get there.
He then went onto say the show to him is about Emma’s journey. Season one was about her relationship with Henry and ended with him being her true love. Season two was about her parents and ended with her accepting them by calling them Mom and Dad.
So it wouldn’t surprise him at all if season three will be about  her finally letting her walls down and accepting Neal back in her life romantically. The love triangle for him is more about Emma decided what she wants rather than two guys fighting over her. He said I just have to hang tight. enjoy the ride and hope it goes the way I want it to go.
I’m not saying he is right and I’m not sure if anything I have said above makes any sense. But I thought it was interesting to hear an objective view. Sometimes I find it hard to watch the show without my shipper goggles on lol.
BTW- Thank you all so much for the lovely comments about my new video! It really means a lot that you all enjoyed watching it! 😀

MsKt86ParticipantThank you so much Heather! 😀 Soon as I heard the song I thought of Swanfire! And thank you guys, it really does mean a lot that you all enjoy my videos. I plan to survive the hiatus by making more 🙂
I do have a confession when it comes to staying spoiler free… I have a sneak peak if a new photo of Neal appears but I blame it all on MRJ lolÂ

MsKt86ParticipantHey, sorry I haven’t posted here in a while. (I’m currently staying spoiler free so I’m trying to avoid temptation Lol)
I just wanted to wish you all a happy Once day and post a new Swanfire video. Hope you guys like it!

MsKt86ParticipantJust watched the episode (I’m from the UK so I have to wait until the next day) and mind is still trying to process it!  Firstly how fantastic was Bobby and MRJ! Their relationship is very quickly becoming my favourite on the show! Also I’m so glad to have a break from the awful CaptainSwanFire triangle!
Neal and Wendy reunion was very short but sweet. Though I still wanted Emma to hear about their past and the sacrifice Bae made for the Darlings. I’m still hoping this storyline will play out further down the line, probably when Henry is safe and they are back in SB. But either way Emma was there to witness it!
I LOVED Neal making sure David was saved without Emma having to make a deal with his father.  He did it because it was the right thing to do.  It was in complete contrast to Hook. Neal never asked for anything in return and he didn’t try to speak out and get praise when David was told there was cure! I’m sure the writers are doing this on purpose.
As for the SF moments, there weren’t that many for my liking however I enjoyed the little moments they had. One thing I love about SF is the subtlety between them. Neal moving to the side to let Emma in, helping her out of the boat and then standing behind her when she using magic. They don’t need big moments or awful romantic speeches to show how much they care about each other, it natural between them.
BTW How awesome was the actor playing Rumple’s father?  I loved how his mischievous giggle and mannerisms were identical to Rumple’s when he is the Dark One.

MsKt86ParticipantI’ve just caught up on the last few posts and I just wanted to say how happy I am to have found this board. (THANK YOU HEATHER!!) It’s so refreshing to read all of your posts and I wanted to say how awesome you all are! 😀
Anyway I wanted to add my thoughts on the latest interview with Jen. Normally I love reading her interviews especially when it comes to the show. I always find her answers insightful and you can really see her passion and love for Emma Swan. She loves her character as much as we do!
However this interview left me feeling quite flat and somewhat confused about the show. I know Jen has no control over the questions she gets asked but I am finding the media fascination with Hook/Emma and the love triangle very frustrating to the point I feel its starting to ruin my enjoyment of the show (Sorry I don’t mean to sound so negative.)
When it came to her answer about Hook, I wasn’t sure if Jen was answering from Emma’s perspective or the storyline in general. From Emma’s point of view she has seen a new side to Hook and I would be lying if I said she hasn’t. But as an audience member we can see how he is keeping her in the dark about his true past with Milah/Bae and we know his actions have not all been done selflessly to help save Henry.
One of the many things I love about Emma is she doesn’t take crap or lies from people. She continually calls Regina, Rumple and even her parents out on their faults and mistakes. So seeing Hook getting a free pass at the moment is really annoying me to the point I feel like I don’t really understand the Emma we are seeing right now. I’m hoping Neverland, the worry of saving Henry and confronting her past are the reasons behind it.
From a SF shipper point of view the only positive thing I could take from her answer was the part when she said ‘whether or not it turns into something more.’ Was that Jen trying to play up the friendship angle of their relationship? I know she has to answer these questions carefully in fear of upsetting the masses or maybe I’m reading too much into it.
I also didn’t really understand her answer regarding why Emma wanted to save Neal. (I am glad however Jen brought up Neal. I’ve never seen a love triangle so one sided.) I for one didn’t agree with her answer because this was not what I saw in the episode. I saw Emma terrified and scared to even admit the possibility that Neal was alive. Not once did she say we need to save Neal to help save Henry. She saved him because she owed it to Henry and more importantly to herself. Though Jen does know her character more than me but if that was the only reason to why she saved Neal than the show did not convey that to me as a viewer.
I am looking forward to seeing Neal play a big part in helping Emma defeat Pan. I’m sure I read an interview from MRJ where he states Neal will help Emma remember who she is when she starts to lose herself. Maybe Pan has one more mind trick to play.
Sorry for rambling on I didn’t mean to sound so negative, but on a positvie note I can’t wait for the next episode and I’m still waving my Swanfire flag high! 🙂

MsKt86ParticipantAfter seeing Hook’s reaction to Emma choosing Henry, I don’t understand how we are lead to believe Emma could view him as a viable partner/father figure to her son. Also his past actions with Bae doesn’t help his case, he hand him over to the lost boys for rejecting him, how would he react if Henry was to do the same?
I have read a few posts where fans have said Henry won’t be a factor on who Emma decides to be with, of course Henry will matter. Emma will always put her son first and rightly so. Â Hook’s behavior and actions in the last episode should be clear warning signs for Emma.

MsKt86Participant@MsKt86 – Is there anyway you could make a video with the song At Arms’ Length by Plumb from the vantage point of Emma? The lyrics have SF written all over them!
That is a wonderful song and its perfect for SF. I was picturing the scenes in my head as I was listening to it. I’m working on a Neal Cassidy video right now, but I’ll see what I can do 😀
