Who on this show DOESN’T have a lot of work to do?
As for any pairings, hopefully they’ll show people what they need to see in order to get to the “not happy but don’t hate them with a passion and lose respect for a character” stage for anybody who doesn’t get the ship they want. I’ve seen people threaten to stop watching even which saddens me, especially since we’re miles away from endgame.
I don’t think they’d pair Emma with either guy until they’ve done something to show the worthy side of them. Right now it seems like most (not all) have just taken sides and loathe the other one. There are potential and parellels in both stories to Snowing so it truly for me could go either way (though I do have a current preference). They clearly love playing up both of them cause it gets the fans invested and I’ve seen convincing arguments for either path. I think for now they’ll focus on the other stuff and it’ll be a long and winding road before Emma really focuses on love at all, giving both guys plenty of time to win people over or find someone new (I don’t want anybody left out permanently, they both deserve love).

MysteryKat25Participantlol! Well hopefully that’s where he was going with it. If not I still found an awesome song out of the deal!
I love how he got his twitter followers so distracted – doubt they saw anything past the “I’ll be back in ep 21”
Crossing my fingers he’s really “Somewhere in Neverland” (new favorite song for sure!)

MysteryKat25ParticipantThought process of David Anders (my best guess:)
On my knees = “all time low” which is also a band who sings “Somewhere in Neverland = where the character is in that episode?
I will be absolutely floored if I got one of his mysterious tweets / musical connections right but you never know.

MysteryKat25Participantoops forgot link: “Somewhere In Neverland” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8CoIAW0lG2s (pretty good song)
Also we know David Anders gave the Sting reference last time around for the Dr. Frankenstein thing so…music is kinda his thing…
Also just the song title “Somewhere in Neverland” could be a HUGE clue for this ep!
Edited with a better link.

Interesting tweet.
Interesting indeed. So far all I could find that relates to any it (but is probably way off – though we know that David Anders like to be obscure but technically give clues…):
1. Allan Knee is one of the writers from Finding Neverland
2. There’s a song by a band called All Time Low called “Somewhere in Neverland” which has awesome lyrics about running away with Wendy and “I can be your lost boy” which I thought was going to have the answer but they have another song called “Get Down on Your Knees and Tell Me You Love Me” which is how I found the other song by accident.Either way thought I’d share!

MysteryKat25ParticipantWhether the Blue Fairy is sneaky or not…we definitely need more info. That “original power” thing keeps bugging me. Apparently it keeps her young…and doesn’t do much else so far except grant a wish every few decades or something. Let’s see some POWER! Apparently she’s limited by lack of wand / fairy dust but there has to be SOMETHING that an “original power” CAN do….right??
I also agree that Gold probably took the barrier down but didn’t have the strength to put it back up. I need to look but did he walk in first? Perhaps him walking through it breaks it automatically as the magic “recognizes” him and then he needed Emma to put it back up cause he just wasn’t strong enough. Just a thought.

MysteryKat25ParticipantI’ve gotten a lot of my male friends to watch the show and they all love it too! Just remember this little gem from the beginning of The Princess Bride:
The Grandson: Has it got any sports in it?
Grandpa: Are you kidding? Fencing, fighting, torture, revenge, giants, monsters, chases, escapes, true love, miracles…OUAT has something for everybody. It’s nice to see there are lots of guys who watch it as well, always nice to have another perspective, so welcome all of you 🙂

Omgosh, Dark Chocolate is my downfall! How fitting Rumple/Gold’s flavor would include it. 😆
(On an off note, there is a dairy not far from me that makes homemade ice cream and has the best chocolate mud flavor in the world…dark chocolate ice cream with bits of fudge, oreos, and chocolate chips. It’s like being in chocolate ecstasy.)
That sounds divine!

Oh my!! Up until this last episode I was so wanting Emma and Hook to end up together. And I honestly felt like Emma and Neal had zilch going on in the chemistry department ever since their first episode together – and then even when we found out that Neal was Bae. But, after the Miller’s Daughter I now want Emma and Neal to end up together. Somehow, I think their chemistry just clicked in that episode. It was the first time I found the thought of the two of them in a relationship together believable and they were actually kind of cute and flirty.
And I loved the scenes with David checking out Neal and asking if everything was ok in Gold’s shop. I could just hear the thoughts in his head “So you’re the guy who knocked up my daughter?!?!?!” But it’s not really something Prince Charming would say out loud right???
Perhaps it’s also a case of liking whichever thing you’re seeing at the time too. Hook was nowhere around so SwanFire got all the airtime. I know I go back and forth at times to the point where I’m at least torn (even though I do still love the CaptainSwan potential). There were lots of good SwanFire moments in this episode though. I’ll be interested to see how you feel when the balance of airtime switches back!
I definitely wanna hear from Charming though. I’m sure he’ll have an opinion at some point, there are just more pressing matters right now than confronting the son of his grandson. Should be interesting since Charming usually holds back more and this time he might just let Snow talk rather than telling her not to push things!
