If we’re on the Archie – Regina train that’s the first time I’ve heard it be called BugQueen though it does make me laugh! I’ve always heard it as EvilCricket but don’t know of any “official” one being used. Would certainly be interesting though. Archie is the one she’s opened up to the most, though I think she’s a bit too evil at the moment for it to happen anytime soon.
The Robin Hood idea is very interesting! Can’t wait to actually see the character to see what direction it goes in but I like your thinking Phee!

As much as I hate seeing Hook thrown around all the time…I love the Tangled comparisons and that picture is absolutely Hook-esque (sad but true). At least Flynn and Hook are lovable?

MysteryKat25ParticipantWell if he is NealFire Pan I’d realllly prefer he end up with a relation of Wendy if not Wendy herself. Emma is her own new character and nobody else, they’ve said that before so she wouldn’t fit in this case. But it all depends on how they want to go with things.
I know they want to address the past and figure out what to do now but for me, at this point, the best thing is to be in Henry’s life and make peace with the past. Whether that means there’s romance in the future we just don’t know yet. A lot can happen in 11 years, and even if all of that comes back the moment you see someone again you still have to get to know who each other is NOW, not who they were (and they both seem to be very different). I could see them realizing they’re not the way they used to be and reminiscing over puppy love as much as I can see an endgame pairing. There are MANY possibilities and as long as Neal doesn’t turn and run like Rumple did (which I doubt he will) I think everything (including Henry) will be ok.
As to the Morraine thing, once we got confirmation that Bae has spent time in Neverland (which he practically admitted last week), it reminded me that the girl we saw twice (I think?) and seemed to know a lot about the BF, was good friends with Bae etc…has never been seen again. It just seems weird that we actually got a name for her and that was the only connection I could make. Perhaps it was just there so that Bae could scream her name and run to Papa to save her. Who knows. Usually names mean something and the closest I could get (and didn’t even think of til the Peter Pan theory came into play) was that it reminded me of Moira.

Very true. Anybody could be gone for a few episodes or off for a week or something and it just looks like they’re gone. How many threads have we seen convinced that a bunch of people are gone for good, only to leave their threads lingering knowing full-well we have to see them again for one thing or another.
While this is likely true (although we may see her again in flashbacks) I’m always afraid to confirm anything from what we see / hear from Steveston until we see it within context. Otherwise it could be just a happy coincidence.
(I refuse to forget the: Snow & Emma are wearing weird clothes and talking about cake so clearly they must be Cora & Hook in disguise fiasco).

MysteryKat: Ahhhh. I thought so! Total Jater over here, but I will admit that by the end I didnt think Kate deserved either of them. I passionately hated Juliette until she was put with Sawyer
This is one of the reasons why I DON’T want Bae to be Peter Pan. His character would no longer be unique if he turns out to really be one of the most iconic storybook characters of all time.
That’s actually a really good point and one I hadn’t considered. It would change the nature of Bae pretty dramatically. Suddenly there are expectations about what he’s supposed to be doing. And if Tamara really is Tink or Tiger Lily, people might argue that he should be with one of the them since it's the more normal approach to his story You’ve given me something to think about going forward with NealFire.
Per Lost: Totally understand and he had his moments, it was set up in the beginning etc. I just felt like by the end he whined a bit too much and I actually preferred him with Juliet! I felt like that way the couples would understand each other and felt a bit cheated in the finale when they had had their “chance” but it didn't work in purgatory whereas Skater never really got a legit chance – didn't even get a clip showing they landed safely!! If you asked me in the pilot who I'd rather be with: the guy who made me sew him up or the guy who protected a group of us from a polar bear, I'd have said polar bear. Sawyer had a sweet endearing quality over the course of things and was more of a snooze-fest when with Juliet. As a Kate myself (though not a brunette and no freckles to speak of), the only positive thing I loved about Suliet (other than their reunion where I actually finally liked them though not as much, was hearing Sawyer say “You got it Blondie” (a name I usually hate!)
At least we can agree on RumBelle and politely disagree on other stuff without being irrational and throwing a fit! Such a pleasant relief around here. 🙂
One of the things I found interesting about Neal being Bae is that he stayed so…sweet-natured after everything he’s been through. It almost seemed a little odd so the NealFire Pan thing might actually explain some of that / maybe show a different side to him, at least when he was younger maybe. Though I agree it might also bring about a few expectations as well.
If it turns out he is NealFire Pan it would parallel the whole Aurora thing though – daughter of the first Aurora who was originally the sleeping beauty attacked by Maleficent vs the son of the crocodile being Hook’s (presumed) enemy instead of the crocodile himself (at least within the Neverland boundaries, clearly it eventually goes back to Rumple).
As to the Tink thing: usually she loves Peter but he doesn't choose her. Tiger Lily would be far more questionable, as would anybody with the last name of Darling. Still hoping for a Morraine relative if that's the case though.

MysteryKat25ParticipantAgreed on all counts! They’re re-running The Queen is Dead tonight at 8 by the way (rewatches never hurt!).
I think a lot have gotten confused thanks to the wacky programming of episodes. Was kinda hoping they learned from what Damon & Carlton did on Lost and just demand they stop having weeks off or random scheduling and just aired the season start to finish, back to back. Maybe we’ll get that in the future.
Many are probably waiting for the dvds / to catch up over the summer in some other way. I know the season premiere numbers were up because people had the dvds / netflix instant streaming / word of mouth going to get interest up. Hope this continues to happen.
The other concern is a lot of people have been bad-mouthing decisions made for this season but H&K have given me hope that things will once again wrap around to the start of the season like they did last year, and that once it all comes together and makes sense people will go back to saying what they love about the show rather than all the things they hate.
I am so SICK of seeing the hateful tweets sent at Adam Horowitz and he’s actually responded to tons of it. Poor guy. Hope he realizes that a lot of us love & appreciate him for giving us a show we can love and be passionate about. We’re not all crazy…or at least, not hateful crazy. We do love our Once Upon A Time. 😉

MysteryKat25ParticipantThanks so much RumplesGirl!
In answer to your Lost question, I was a total Skater – love Sawyer; Jack just annoyed me by the end so you can understand why I might worry – just hope they at least sell me on whoever the end couples are a bit better this time and frankly I think they will. I love what they’ve done so far for the most part and they usually present things in a way that I can learn to love it eventually.
As I said I can usually play Devil’s Advocate. Lost was one time I couldn’t as much, so was heartbroken by that choice (though I’m sure as many people hated it, that many of maybe *gulp* even more were thrilled. Such is the nature of the beast.)
For the record I’m really trying not to be so long-winded but some things just take up a lot of space to explain fully. Thank you for saying it was worth it in this instance. I hate half-arguing something just to be short that ends up leaving too many openings for misinterpretation. 🙁 Probably doesn’t help that I am vocal about one pairing which makes it look like I’m just mad my ship might not happen again. I only do it because they seem to need the most defending. I really do like other pairings too!

1. King Xaiver Kingdom was broke – Cora’s (Miller’s Daughter) Kingdom married to a Prince
2. King George Kingdom was broke too and childless – David’s Kingdom but could have married the Grain daughter as the Grain daughter had money but he didn’t
3. King Leopold wasn’t broke – Snow’s KingdomAgain is this just a parallel or what with the 1st and 2nd Kingdoms ❓
Well it wouldn’t be the first time! I guess it’s actually a good thing for whoever the grain merchant’s daughter is though – knowing King George he probably would have had her killed (or threatened to kill her) if Charming didn’t agree to his demands. I seriously doubt he’d have been ok with Charming killing the dragon and then refusing King Midas’ daughter on the grounds that he was already married.
(I’d like to think Midas would have understood but you know King George would not have liked it…also Midas would have assumed that Charming was James and that James was unattached so…what’s the King George equivalent of “Off with her head?”…oh wait, he does like to at least try to decapitate people so maybe that’s not so much of a stretch after all. Just wish we knew who she was!

MysteryKat25ParticipantI loved Alcatraz too Gypsy. Granted we wouldn’t have gotten Anton without it going away but still 🙁
wizard55 – not that I know of at the moment but I’m sure somebody somewhere must have some.
Nonnie – just ignore them then. They’re supposed to be fun for the fans who like them and others may not even notice them / get the reference. (When it bothered me enough I watched Lost after the season 1 winter finale of OUAT just so I would understand them all and join in on the fun – so glad I did!).
Personally I enjoy them and if anybody wants a fun one from another show: in the first episode I believe of Person of Interest (great show, stars Michael Emerson who was on Lost as “Henry Gale”, eventually Ben Linus and they showed a surveillance monitor that had the Lost numbers as the camera identifier / timestamp which was pretty cool. Most shows that have any of the Lost actors will have some easter eggs. (You may have seen the reaction our poor Belle got just for saying the word “lost” at PaleyFest!).
As for what H&K will do in the future, who knows but they’ll have 2 shows to pull random objects / things from. Wouldn’t be surprised to see MacKutcheon Whiskey again somewhere, or an Apollo Bar. Maybe something Oncey will even make an appearance someday!
