It was remarked about on the Internet but some HOOK lovers had hysterics saying he was killed. I think they need to check their sources. And maybe they should have taken a deep breath.
I’m not sure it’s so much that Hook lovers were having hysterics but that Hook haters keep drumming up ridiculous things trying to get rid of a character they don’t like and dash others hopes. Every rumor needs to be taken with a grain of salt because people do believe things they read even if it’s just somebody giving an opinion of what can or cannot happen and just fail to word it as opinion. Remember the whole: Snow & Emma are dressed strangely and therefore must be Cora & Hook in disguise debacle that turned out to be absolutely nothing? Yet another reason to stay away from spoilers…
EVERY character, good, bad, somewhere in-between is what makes this show what it is. We can hate to love or love to hate whoever we want but if we love this show there is no reason to step on others toes about who they like. The constant stirring up of fans of other ships than your own is unnecessary and mean. Let people theorize, let them have their fun hoping for something to happen. If we weren’t invested enough to care, we wouldn’t enjoy it half as much as we do. We’d just be mindless drones watching every week.
He seems like a very nice albeit private guy and has been great to his fans on twitter and such. Hopefully this puts all of this nonsense to rest and we can stop debating where the actor is and start focusing on what matters: the show itself.

That panel was absolutely amazing but it definitely gave me major hope for CaptainSwan goodness! Loving the gifs you got of Colin and I am completely on board with this love triangle if it means we get lots of good CaptainSwan stuff. Let them duke it out and earn it. After all, “a man who doesn’t fight for what he wants deserves what he gets”…right??
Jennifer’s “starts?!?” with the whole “looking at Hook the wrong way thing” was priceless. Also: did anybody catch when somebody mentioned if Hook goes after Snow it’ll be both of Henry’s grandmothers and Josh just STARED at Jennifer like…don’t you have something to say about this? I was half expecting her to blush! Definitely need to rewatch that part but it was the impression I got since he wasn’t staring at Ginny to give a MommaSnow speech but rather wanted to see Jennifer’s reaction as if they had perhaps, I don’t know…shot some CaptainSwan flirty stuff already?? Helloooo he won’t be going after Snow, it’ll be Emma, 100%, guaranteed.
@Stelios – agreed, getting tired of the Hook-haters trying to dash our hopes just because he isn’t as visible when people are stalking (did I say stalking, I meant um…creatively photographing / mildly overhearing randomness in Steveston and using it to scare people) and he probably does most of his work indoors or on green screen. Hope his leg heals up soon! Was SO glad to hear lots of cheering for him at the panel, and no negative questions were asked regarding him. As big of a Hook / CaptainSwan fan as I am, some places are very Hook-unfriendly these days and it was a delight to hear so many people excited about the possibility of CaptainSwan and/or the love triangle as well as the last 2 eps of the season with the most awesome titles a Hook fan could possibly want! So excited!

That panel was amazing! Soooo many awesome things mentioned to look forward to. Clapping & jumping up and down (at least figuratively) were definitely involved! Now just gotta wait to watch the new ep…

Good to know. I tried looking at it earlier and it was all negative or vocal about something other than Hook or CaptainSwan. I gave up when it started scrolling too fast to read.
I just hope that at the end of the day the writers tell the stories they want to tell when they want to tell them.

Doesn’t he always?! Hoping that he can shed some light on Hook and change some minds. Every character put together is what makes this show great but there has been a lot of Hook-hate lately and I just see so much potential and want others to see it too. Hopefully people are at least nice to him with their questioning. I know Hook / CaptainSwan do have somewhat of a following, just feels like it’s more vocal against rather than for. Hopefully he can change a few minds once people get to know him better with the panel (this is the first one he’s been involved with isn’t it?)

Looks like around 4 they started watching tonight’s episode + 10 minutes of next week’s (lucky!) so probably won’t start until closer to 4:50 (Eastern). So excited and sooo happy Colin is there!
