ParticipantOut of those options I would probably go with Evil Cricket – Archie’s the only one she’s really opened up to so far.
I’m kinda fond of CaptainSwan and FrankenWolf but want Archie to be happy too…though Regina would have to majorly redeem herself before she’s good enough for such a good guy like Archie. He may be the only one who can break through to her and we already know he’s good friends with Henry so that wouldn’t be an issue either.
As for whether she can / will find true love who knows. I try to rule out anything until we actually SEE something but it’s fun to theorize and ship stuff in the meantime!

ParticipantI kinda got the impression that steliokontos1 was agreeing with the statement that Jolly Roger made and was only quoting it to agree with it in answer to the ridiculous comments that were made before in the thread. That’s how it read to me anyway.

ParticipantI always kinda wanted Bae to have somehow found a way to rescue Morraine (we saw her so many times when we usually don’t even get a name for people and they were so close and cute together). Thinking about her name, it reminded me of Moira (as in: Wendy Moira Angela Darling aka Wendy from Peter Pan). Would be awesome if Bae turns out to have been Peter Pan or a Lost Boy and find some connection to her somehow (a descendent named Wendy perhaps??)! Looking forward to anything Neverland-related. I feel like they keep teasing us with it but never showing it. Also the drama should be amazing between Rumple, Bae, and Hook. So many possibilities!

ParticipantIt’s gotta be tough on the actors who play characters who rarely appear. They’ve gotta book work for the rest of the time too and unless somebody can show them we need you for this episode here here and here, they’re just out doing something else and sometimes they get bigger parts or have scheduling conflicts. The writers still have stories to tell and I guess they weren’t able to get him back between projects. I always thought he’d be an easy one to get for the few times he pops in because of his relationship with Jennifer Morrison but I guess not.
As upsetting as it is, just remember it wasn’t recasting for the heck of it. It seems to just be an issue with the scheduling (hopefully they’ll learn from this…) and we need to be supportive of the show / the actors who come into it.
As for the spin-off…sounds like they’ll be doing a backdoor pilot and we’ll be able to see whether people actually liked what they SAW vs heard / read about. I’m iffy as to why they even need one or what it could possibly deal with, but want to give it a chance out of support for the main show. Trusting the casting department to get somebody awesome that will stick around for the remainder of the show if the part is important enough to recast to bring the character back.
We need to show the network how much we love OUAT and that it needs to stay around for a long, long time. Hopefully the recasting of a popular but rarely seen character won’t drive people away.
I’m guessing the storyline is going to be important and only Jefferson can fill the role they needed to end out the season and the actor seems to be pretty booked up for awhile so there would be no promises of just putting it off for a bit when he may just not be able to do it or doesn’t want to for whatever reason. I doubt that they were happy about doing this and they know how passionate the fanbase is.

I’m really upset about this news. If Sebastain Stan can’t return, then write the Mad Hatter out. I can pretend he’s living with Grace in his too large house and if we never find out about Alice and Wonderland than so be it. I don’t want other actor!
At the moment I pretty much feel the same way. I can’t imagine it working with anybody else (although I generally trust the casting department). I have a feeling that if they really feel the need to recast him it’s either a) they realllly want a spin-off to work but that would probably only work with SS, otherwise people will be too upset, or b) they really need him for some important part of the storyline and figured while they’re at it, try something else.
I would eventually like to see more of Jefferson’s storyline as there are a lot of loose threads but I always hoped he would pop back in when his schedule is a bit more free…like next year sometime maybe. This big move really surprises me.
Hopefully their casting department does an amazing job so that after SEEING it we’re at least torn, whereas right now pretty much everybody will hate the idea. I feel for whoever takes the role after seeing such backlash before they’ve been given a shot. Just hard to imagine anybody else as Jefferson right now.

ParticipantAccording to this article… http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/once-a-time-mad-hatter-423603
they will apparently be recasting him for OUAT later this season as well due to conflicting schedules. To say I’m heartbroken is an understatement, I love Sebastian Stan as the Mad Hatter. He’s by far my favorite version other than Andrew Lee Potts and I seriously doubt they’d bring him in since he played it in Syfy’s mini-series of Alice.Keeper of Hook's Trenchcoat.

So I guess we know for sure that “Tamara” is not a mermaid. Definitely looks like they’ve pushed a/the mermaid story until next season. Bummer.
It could also just mean we won’t get any confirmation for who somebody is. There are other mermaids as well (Neverland anyone?) so it doesn’t officially rule anything out, though it is unlikely we’ll see a redhead who likes to swim this season.

😯 The promo pics fo Rumplestiltskin drive me crazy ever since they came out… not in a good way. I know how to knit, my mother taught me as a child and we both made a truck load of clothes ever since. The way Robert Carlyle holds the needles and the yarn in OH so wrong. There is a little part of me that just want to put his fingers in the right place and put the yarn in the right way… 😆
I always feel the say way with crocheting but then I realized that apparently my mother and grandmother always held the crochet hook a different way from most of the people on youtube vids do (where I now go to learn new stitches – the books never make sense to me for some reason) and therefore I probably look crazy crocheting to most people as well.
In this case it probably IS just that he doesn’t really know how to knit (I seem to recall somebody being on hand to teach Granny how to hold stuff when she was knitting Emma’s baby blanket), but sometimes what looks “wrong” to us may be normal to somebody else. Whatever works to make something beautiful in the end (and have fun during the process!). 🙂

ParticipantWell that certainly throws a monkey wrench into things for now. But honestly one of the things I love about Emma is that there is no set, definitive endgame. She’s a new character that technically they can do whatever they want with. It’s not like Snow & Charming where we know they have to end up together so this could be a bump in the road for SwanFire or it could show that eventually they coexist for Henry’s sake but move on to other people, who knows. For all we know it was their “destiny” & “fate” to meet, have Henry, separate so Henry would bring them to SB to reunited with everybody else and break the curse. They’ve done that. Their grand purpose could have been to create the boy who would bring everybody together again. Emma is the product of true love, it was never said that Henry was (just saying for argument’s sake).
Directions can change too. They set up a nice “2 kids from FTL” thing with WoodenSwan too then threw that away, they’re always looking to see who has chemistry / what makes sense and could have thought maybe endgame for SwanFire and then could change things up down the line. We’ll just have to wait and see!
I like the fact that Henry is the product of SwanFire as it has many many possibilities, but I love the fact that regardless of that Emma is still “just Emma” and could end up with almost anybody. (In other words, keep enjoying whatever ship / ships you have her in til we actually SEE the endgame. Nothing regarding Emma is set in stone.)
And yes, some of us actually like SwanFire & CaptainSwan…it’s not always about shipping wars. For the record I like both…and Snowing, and Rumbelle, and…you get the point.
