Pretty sure he was just live-tweeting during the AMAs since it was on in our timeslot and had nothing to do with her potentially being on the show.
Also there would be riots if anybody other than Mandy Moore took the role of Rapunzel and Zac Levi for Flynn. There’s just no excuse not to have them so I seriously seriously doubt that this was anything other than congratulating someone on winning an award that was on during our regularly scheduled showtime.

Um, guys…*pulls on sleeves* guysssss….we have a hug pic!!! I thought we weren’t getting it at this point because it happened awhile back in filming still for 3×12 which looks to be Emma heavy and with lots of CS interaction!!! but we have one!!! SO EXCITED and I love love love the way he’s savoring every moment of holding her and she’s hugging him back and it’s just…ahhhh is it march yet? This wait is killing me and I need to see them spending time together alone like this and having her be so receptive to him and a team and we still haven’t seen anything of him and Henry yet but that’s ok because we know the three of them are in NY and spending time together and did I mention the CAPTAINSWAN HUG?!?!?

Glad to hear the numbers are doing well!
I still have faith based on everything we’ve been shown. Even when other options seem to suddenly scratch the surface it’s not enough to overwhelm the abundance of other stuff we’ve been given, ESPECIALLY without context and from what I’ve been hearing spoiler-wise, we have the roadtrip and a HUG to look forward to and Emma doesn’t hug just anybody so it’s important bonding time. Plus Henry and Hook in the car presumably so that’s important too!
Part of me will always be afraid that we’ll take a sudden turn in the next few eps and that Emma will randomly revert back but with everything we’ve been given, it’s hard to think that. They’ve had several good opportunities to do something with that and haven’t, but have been building CS all season and we know they continue to spend time together and that Emma trusts him so I’m focusing on that. There are just too many possibilities about what the spoiler shots may mean! I wish we didn’t have to wait so long for the hug though, I really want the context of that!
I don’t know how we survived before this season, I really don’t. We’ve been spoiled with having only 1 little break in the first half and it’s already making me crazy!
Can’t wait to see what happens when the group’s all back together since they’re spread out right now! In one of the shots from the promo, Hook is standing right next to Charming and they both look concerned. In another shot Emma is near Charming and I don’t know where Hook is. I really want to see how the Emma/Hook reunion goes though. I LOVE that Hook volunteered him and Tink to stay behind and do what Emma needed him to / where he would be most helpful. He showed belief in her again when he said they’d all meet up at the Jolly Roger – like there was no doubt in his mind that she would go get Henry and he’d see her again soon, even though he didn’t get to say goodbye before they parted ways. (That shot of him in the distance after Charming said goodbye to Emma was heartbreaking and unnecessary except to show how hard it was for Hook not getting to say goodbye to her because he’s doing his best to follow her orders and focus on the mission. It was a HUGE father/daughter moment (since we rarely have any) and they chose to show us Hook’s reaction.) Significant? I think so.
I really really hope we see Hook and Tink talk. I think maybe if the episode picks up right after the green glow we will though. She’ll probably see a look on his face that she equates to worry and he’ll say something about not being worried because Emma’s fine, he can feel it. (Hope that’s how it plays out! I always love Charming just knowing and making everyone else feel good about it even when he’s apart from Snow, so I’d love to see Hook have that kind of a moment with Tink who is the only person he can talk to about it.) I also really want Tink to call him out on his feelings and see him have a chance to talk to someone because he has nobody but Emma or her protective father, neither of which he can talk to about anything going on right this moment, especially his feelings  toward Emma. It wouldn’t surprise me if he’s confident when he’s trying to talk to Emma so that she sees how real it is for him but that he has moments of doubt when he’s on his own and if he does, Tink would be able to be his confidant. There has to be a reason they left Hook and Tink alone, yet we saw none of their interaction except when they were blown away by the green glow.
I really just want the group back together and to get out of there, but I expect there’s more to some of these little moments on the way to getting back together that may prove useful/insightful. Emma had more meaningful interaction with Hook in their very brief screentime than she did as part of Team Parents with way more screentime. They could easily have done something with that on the way to save Henry or getting Wendy out of the cage or something and they didn’t. So many opportunities I was surprised as I expected it to be more even but it really hasn’t been. So again, cautiously optimistic. Adam keeps saying they’re telling stories, not doing unnecessary triangles and that the supposed triangle isn’t steering the plot or the show. That gives me hope, especially since we’ve been saying for awhile that it isn’t so much a triangle as watching Emma move on from her past like Hook has been all season.
Still so excited that Charming and Emma talked about Hook! Wish we could have seen it but Charming keeps surprising me and I think he’s on Hook’s side a bit more now! He didn’t have to make up the elaborate story to paint Hook as a hero to cover up for the fact that he had been poisoned but he did. He toasted him and made sure Emma knew about it. On top of that, and AFTER the kiss since there wasn’t time before that, Emma must have talked to Charming about something related to all of that (not sure of the details) and Charming told her about Liam. So either Emma tried to talk to her dad about Hook (without mentioning the kiss) and THEN tried to talk to Snow, or Charming offered up information in a conversation we just didn’t see in an effort to explain why Hook would do something like that. Either way – Emma and Charming talked about Hook and his good side!
This episode added to that. We had very little on-screen CaptainCharming but not only did we find out about the fact that Charming told Emma about Liam, but Charming also gave up his sword to Hook. Hook has his hook which isn’t much in a swordfight granted, but it’s more of a weapon than David has on his own. The moment that Rumple took Hook’s sword, Charming’s hand was on his and then when Hook thought he wouldn’t have a weapon after all since Rumple clearly planned on using his sword, Charming tossed him his and got an actual thank you from Hook. He gave up his weapon to the man he knows is in love with his daughter and who has proven himself to be someone that Charming can respect. (They’re so much alike at times it’s ridiculous but I love these two!)

Thinking about it more, I have a feeling that we’ll maybe see them get into the bug right at the end of 3×11 and be heading (apparently to NY) and hopefully we’ll have more info as to why before they do. I’m really hesitant about all of it and the timing of everything but that would make for a good cliffhanger and I could see them doing that with them driving out of town. If it IS in “Going Home” then I need some major context so I don’t read into it too much but if it IS just Emma, Hook, and Henry in the bug then of course we’re gonna read into that connection so I need more context. I’m still hesitant even though I feel pretty confident about everything they’ve set up because I’m afraid to connect “Going Home” to her having her true loves in the car and eventually realizing they ARE her home. Henry already basically is equated to home for her and we know that, but CS is getting closer to Snowing with their “until I met you” stuff and with Emma’s arc this season being about finding her way home this episode title has me on edge but so far they’ve been building CS like crazy this season and they haven’t taken advantage of perfectly logical moments for SF buildup yet so I’m…cautiously optimistic?
On the bright side at least we know we get some interaction in NY as most of the outdoor shots have included Hook and Emma! Must mean they’re still getting along, Henry is with Emma in some shots, and yay for teamwork! Also really really love that they’ve got Hook still in black and Emma’s in red. How very Westley & Buttercup of them! Now just awaiting the return of Hook’s red vest! Hook used to wear black and red a lot and Emma…gravitates to the same colors a lot these days. They’re blending quite nicely!
I need the rest of this season NOW, is that so much to ask??

Only saw him getting into the bug in that one pic (2nd pic first row in that link I posted) and then there’s  other shots of him with Emma in NY so it looks very likely he’s going with them! I LOVE the look on Hook’s face as Henry is getting into the car though!
Afraid to get my hopes up this far in advance without any context (I thrive on context) but for now I am very very happy that it seems like we will be getting lots more of them spending time together AND time for Hook to get a chance to bond with Henry! REGARDLESS of the circumstances surrounding all of this, JMO has already said that Hook will always be important to Emma and she’s clearly still comfortable around him / trusting him and is spending some time alone with him AND letting him near Henry etc which is all GOOD STUFF for us! I’m not as optimistic as some that the triangle will be done quite so soon but I love that it looks like we’ll be getting more CS interaction. They keep building that relationship the more season 3 progresses! Love it!
I just really really hope that when Emma makes a choice it’s done. None of this typical triangle drama where it goes one way for a bit and then it goes the other. I don’t want to see the guys strung along and I don’t think she’d do that. I also don’t think the show would do that since this is all about finding true love etc etc. I think once she makes a choice that’s it and it’ll be their fight to stay together like with all the other couples. *fingers crossed*
I’m still confused as to whether it’s 3×11 or 3×12. Apparently some people on set were told they were going ahead and filming the scene from 3×12 a few days early or something and others are absolutely certain it’s all part of 3×11 (usually things are filmed in order but if they had extra time and knew they’d need to film more there, they may have done so at the time) so not sure if we’ll see any of them in the bug perhaps as part of the cliffhanger of 3×11 and then getting out of it is 3×12 maybe? Not sure. 3×11 is “Going Home” which could be good for CS+Henry to be all together in the bug but we don’t know the context yet which is my only hesitancy (especially with the bug, I’m already anticipating the SF fans throwing fits if that scene IS in 3×11 since it’s called “Going Home” and Emma’s journey this season is supposed to be about finding her way “home” and even though she’s used the word home with plenty of people, Hook included multiple times now (both in the EF and in NL in THIS DECADE, etc etc, it was the last nice convo that Emma and Neal had as a couple when they got into the bug so we’re in for lots of drama with that). I need context people!
I seriously just need to know where this stuff fits in and why they’re going to NY in the first place! That will set the tone for how good this stuff is for us – though right now, any interaction/lengthy time spent together bonding IS really good for us! – but I’d like to know more before getting too excited about it (ok I’m excited, let me rephrase: before reading too much into it and letting my headcanon run completely wild). This could be part of “Going Home” and it could be part of “New York Serenade” and it could be both. I’m just not sure. I hope it’s not having to go after Neal again though. We already did that this season! I can’t think of any other connection to NY unless maybe it’s Home Office related? But I love that she’s taking Hook and  Henry with her regardless! Can’t wait to see Hook and Henry interact (almost as much as CaptainCharming bonding which is right under CaptainSwan interaction which…is super high on the priority list even though it’s not the only reason I watch and love the show!

There’s still some confusion on whether this is from 3×11 or 3×12 but there’s more pics! Very spoilery but Henry is getting into the bug with Hook and Emma! And as per other pictures I’ve seen floating around today Henry is with Emma in NY so it looks like a real possibility that Hook, Emma, and Henry are going to NY together in her bug!!! We know that a LOT of the outside scenes they’ve been filming are Emma and Hook and everything else has been inside somewhere so no real pictures from all of that. I’m…overwhelmed right now with feelings! I want to know what they’re up to and have more context but we’re finally going to see them have a lot of bonding time AND with Henry! We need Hook and Henry to get along after all and this could be very very good! Also I really love the shot of Hook leaning on the car and smiling as Henry starts to get in. Seriously cannot wait! Note: some of these are obviously BTS shots of the actors and not necessarily exactly what we’ll end up seeing but it gives us something to work with!
So excited! Bonding time is always important and it’s huge that they’re not only given Emma and Hook some time to work together but that Henry is a part of the mix! After all, in order to be with Emma, he needs to win Henry over as much as anyone else and I want to see the softer side of him that we saw when Bae was with him so long ago which can only be good for CS in many many ways! Plus I really want Henry to see how good Killian is for Emma so he’ll find a way to approve even though he’ll obviously be partial to Neal. Given how much he believes in true love, I’ve got my fingers crossed, especially now that he’ll finally be interacting with Hook some where he really hasn’t before.
Not sure if anybody else is going with them or why they’re going to NY or what’s going on. I’ve heard rumblings of Rumple and Belle being in NY and some have even suggested that maybe Neal went back there to get his things and gets arrested for Tamara being missing or something – pure speculation but apparently some scenes have been in front of a police station so goodness only knows, we’ll have to wait and see. This is the first I’m really seeing of Henry in NY though, other than one outdoor shot with Emma earlier, but he’s definitely in NY with her as is Hook. These are the nighttime bug shots and Emma is wearing a different outfit when they’re actually in NY so not 100% positive it all connects just yet but bonding time is bonding time. Still none of Hook actually IN the bug but even if he’s just standing there flirting with Emma and talking to Henry it’s good for us! And then we know he spends quality time with Emma in NY for whatever that mission is about so it’s all very good!
This coming hiatus is going to kill us all. I can already feel it with 1 week off, how will we survive??

Agreed – context is everything and we’re too far away still from having a clue as to what is really going on. Hopefully we’ll have a better guestimate of things before the hiatus but until we see how it’s shown to us on the show and what is said, etc, we just don’t know. EVERYTHING is open to interpretation even when it’s on the show, but especially when coming from anybody in a crowd or audience (think reviews and what is mentioned vs left out, how it’s referred to etc etc) so it’s all a big guessing game for now. This season has a been a rollercoaster of emotions that’s for sure!

Loved all the CaptainCharming stuff! Not only did we get the scene with the sword (and keep in mind, Neal hasn’t had a weapon this whole time but Hook just got his taken away and THAT’s who Charming tosses a sword to), but we also learn that Charming told Emma about Liam!!! LOVE IT – wish we could have seen her reaction to that story though but still, yay! Why bother making him even MORE likable by telling her that? There’s no point to him passing along that info!
We got Emma going to Hook for answers again, him being so sure it was impossible and not wanting her to get too hyped up about it happening (false hope is BAD and he knows the pain that goes along with it), and then on top of that we have a reverse bonding attempt! This time EMMA was the one desperately trying to bond with Hook by mentioning Liam and he brushed her off with it but we know he still cares, it’s just one of HIS walls that had to be extremely tough on him to open up to Charming about in the first place but it was necessary then. He’s hurting too so it’ll take time for both of them to completely open up but yay for Emma knowing more about his backstory and I’m sure they’ll talk about something sometime soon.
Then there’s the green glow. I wrote about it on tumblr but in some ways, it’s mildly reminiscent of the purple smoke when the magic was brought back to Storybrooke but with some interesting differences. While they made a point to show us where everybody was / what they were doing / who they were with at the time that this happened, we had Emma & Neal – staggered back and away from each other slightly. Hook/Tink – same thing. Snowing? Snowing BARELY MOVED and then clasped hands. Out of those 3, we saw ONE true love pairing and that’s how they behaved. It was different for a reason!
The heart thing – not celebrating anything cause a) poor Henry! and b) he had to take it himself and we don’t know if Emma can take hers or not. So I don’t see it as proof one way or the other for anything.
Team Parents! I was totally fine with it just being Rumple + Emma/Regina/Neal. It made complete sense. It was also great to see that Hook is doing what Emma needs him to (again) by volunteering to hold down the fort with the lost boys. She needed to leave someone behind she could trust and he recognized that it was more important for him to stay there with Tink and let Emma go off (yes, even with Neal) to save their son. She’s made it clear that nothing is going to happen until Henry is safe and he trusts her enough to let her go do what she needs to do and isn’t even worried about Neal right now – and even if he was, he didn’t let it stop him from volunteering to be what she needs in that moment.
Now that Hook and Tink are by themselves and that green glow has affected them, I really hope that we do get a little insight into what Hook’s thinking. Tink is an old friend and she’s observed Hook and Emma interact before so I’m pretty sure she knows what’s up. I’d love for her to take the opportunity to find out where his head is right now. They didn’t show us any of their interaction alone at camp because it wasn’t important then, but we may either hear from one later that the other said something, or more likely, Tink will pick up on some worry on Hook’s face and we’ll get a moment of him spilling to her what he feels for Emma or perhaps a nice little “she’s fine. I can feel it” type moment like we have when Snowing have been separated in the past which would be nice too! Either way, so not worried about Tink and Hook, their history, their friendship, any of it. If anything, Tink is the Cora to RumBelle so NOT AN ISSUE! Also again, they didn’t gravitate toward each other after the green glow and neither did Neal/Emma. Only Snowing did that.
TWO WEEKS? TWO WEEKS? Having major withdrawal already and this is the tiniest of breaks possible. Ugh! I can’t even concentrate enough right now after that amazing episode to tackle the promo so will have to come back with thoughts later on. For now let us just enjoy the fact that:
- Emma found a way to get David home with them – if she hadn’t stopped Hook, Rumple and Neal wouldn’t have overheard and offered the solution
- Emma told Snowing that “We’re all going back home, together” and then side-eyes Hook. I’m sorry, there was NOBODY ELSE over there and there’s no way she was looking at Tink. Just saying…
- Even in episodes with very little interaction, their eyes and actions say it all. They were perfect mirrors of each other in this episode. Hook has done exactly as she asked and is focusing on the mission and how he can help with it.
- The Jolly Roger will be fixed soon. YAY! Interested to see who actually fixes it – hoping for Emma of course!
- Looks like there are stray lost boys on the ship but we knew that from various pics of it arriving in Storybrooke so it’ll be a full ship by the time they’re ready to go and it appears to be flying in the promo – yay!!!
Literally the only crack in Hook’s armor tonight was in trying to distance himself a little from Emma when she wanted to talk (Snowing parallel!) and not wanting to open up about his brother’s death aka his painful past. We’ve seen Emma do this to him enough times so it’s totally fine, especially since in distancing himself, he’s better able to help for now but he still supports her and listens every chance he gets. In other words – HE’S NOT PUSHING HER.
Seriously waiting for the moment when Hook and Emma are back together! He didn’t get a chance to say anything to her before the group split up AT ALL. We just saw him watching her, and she definitely glanced at him during her “we’re all going back home together” speech, but we never got to see them say goodbye as the group split up so they’re bound to be relieved seeing the other is alright.
No idea how the girls get tied up or have to face Pan. Glad they still manage to surprise us with some stuff!
DarlingFire! Loved that reunion but it was interesting that it had nothing to do with Emma at all. Rumple hadn’t mentioned he was supposed to save Wendy, Neal had NO IDEA she was there, and Emma took off running cause she heard the scream. Literally from the moment that she stepped aside so that Neal could see Wendy better she was nonexistent in that scene which is…not what I expected. I saw a lot of SF headcanon that it would be a way to show Emma more about Bae’s life and I fully expected it to try and ramp the triangle back up a bit since they show Hook’s reaction to almost every single Neal/Emma scene, but this was just about Wendy and Bae’s family reunion and Emma’s reactions weren’t really shown at all to it other than him knowing Wendy. Not gonna lie – I was happy that there wasn’t really any triangle drama in this but again, just goes to show what we’ve been saying all along given how they frame things.
There were plenty of moments tonight where Emma was next to Neal and Snowing, but again, Neal was upset seeing her do magic – though he didn’t say anything because it was important to get them to their kid at the time (the look on his face when Regina said it was time to see what Emma learned was telling though) and then again when Rumple showed up with Regina and he acted like it was Emma’s fault for hiding things from him. They work well as a team and I wasn’t annoyed at all that Team Parents was working together and I definitely want more of that for sure! Nothing in there screamed positive SF to me though so I’m not worried. I will always love it MORE when there’s lots of CS goodness, but there’s something to be said for enjoying the simple aspects too – like trusting each other without a word and doing what needs to be done. I love the SHOW first and my ship a very very very close second. Besides, we have their reunion to look forward to now! (And possibly some Hook/Tink talking about what Hook feels!)

Nothing like starting off Once Day with more feels! I hadn’t even noticed that! LOVE parallels! Love, love, love them!
As for the bridge thing I was looking at a nice gifset on tumblr and then I realized when the bridge formed it was away from Neal. You would think it would start toward him so that they (or rather Emma) could make it further and further across and then build the last part, but instead they built it away from him which I consider significant.
Yep, it was all there totally from the start. No doubt in my mind. There’s just too many things for it not to have been and they worked so hard to get the right to Hook in the first place and really really wanted him for S1 so instead of actually getting him we get little nods toward him. That doll in the nursery? No point to it. Having his hand (still preserved I might add) and in Gold’s possession? Why show it until S2 and Hook were a sure thing? It was all setup all along. We even have a taste of our music during significant moments in Tallahassee so it was NEVER a one-sided thing in that episode.
We got a whole episode devoted to Hook (even though its title character was Rumple), and no Emma in it at all. It was setting up as much backstory as it could in that moment that was relevant for us to understand where HE was coming from, much like Tallahassee was a highlight reel of Emma’s past to understand where SHE was coming from. Yet we haven’t seen anything that was just Neal. We’ve seen Bae with relation to Rumple and Hook, but we haven’t seen any backstory of Neal as an adult.
If they wanted it to be a triangle of anything other than Emma’s emotions / her walls / the past vs future I feel like we would have already. Something to build both sides up really really well. But that hasn’t been happening. We have just enough info as to why she’s upset with him and rightly so, but we didn’t watch them fall in love. We saw them meet, then actually being a couple and stealing together, and then him being talked into leaving her behind which is why she didn’t trust HOOK. It all related back to explaining her relationship with HOOK.
Can’t wait til tonight! SO MUCH going on in this episode it feels like! I’m really looking forward to the group reuniting and the DarlingFire reunion and hopefully some Neal/Rumple stuff too. THOSE are the relationships I want to see him work on (that and Henry), because that’s what I needed from Bae in S1 and I really think that’s where the majority of his storyline is and always has been. I’d also love to see Tink interact with Neal again or have some time with Hook and of course I’m looking forward to seeing the CaptainSwan dynamics! She’s reaching for him in one of the promo shots I saw people discussing on tumblr. He goes to follow the group or something and she grabs his arm to stop him for a sec so I’m VERY curious what that’s about. On the bright side we don’t have to beg for airspace this season! So thankful we get actual interaction and progression that isn’t just us guessing and saying they’re perfect for each other from a distance and we’ve called so much already! Only a few more hours!!! Not gonna survive with one week off after tonight. There better be an amazing promo and lots of sneaks or something cause AHH!
