Here’s the first pics and article for Wonderland!
Thanks for that RG! Also um…did they recast the voice of the White Rabbit? I coulda sworn it was going to be the guy who was PeeWee Herman (kinda glad it’s not but wondering if *I’m* the one going mad here instead of Alice lol).
Guess it’s a good thing that Daniel got those domains set up just in case!

MysteryKat25ParticipantI agree, I think that’s why Anton will be staying in SB so that we don’t have to see him unless they need him for something and work out a way for him to come back. As much as I love him I’m happy he gets another show. I loved him on Lost, Alcatraz and Once so look forward to seeing him in whatever. Hopefully we can see him at some point though.
In my head (and please no shipper wars on this! Just giving a general idea here, no specifics…) we literally bookend the show somehow (on a day very very very far away) with Emma having a big wedding and all the characters we know and love are present in the audience to parallel the Snowing wedding from the pilot – except this time we recognize people in the audience other than just Grumpy!) That way it ends on a happy note for Emma, *somebody, maybe Henry?* closing the book, and we’ve seen all the faces we’ve grown to love along the way so that everybody is included (well, everybody that is still alive at the time and friendly with the good guys). Perhaps Henry will write additional pages to the book and be telling a baby sibling or something what that day was like?
Either way I can definitely see Anton, Granny, Ruby, the dwarfs, Dr. Whale, Gepetto, Pinocchio, and Blue Fairy all sticking around SB to hold down the fort in SB, especially since we know that King George is still there (seriously, I thought we were going to deal with him this season. Where has he been since Child of the Moon and why isn’t he locked up in jail??)

think we’ll get OUAT part 1 of the season, OUATIW will be over the winter break (which is good because we also have olympics coming up this year and a pushed-back Oscars ceremony) and then we’ll get all of the 2nd part of OUAT all back to back as well.
I agree. I think this is exactly how it will work. And I think it’s going to do wonders for Ratings for both shows.
Absolutely! Not sure how many eps we’re getting of OUATIW but at least it adds to the 22 we get for Once…meaning we basically get a season and a half each year and not as many weeks off! Not exactly the same as getting more Once…but we can’t run down the actors, we need them!
Loving the back to back scheduling we should get out of this though! That should be a HUGE selling point, for either show but especially both together!

There was never any doubt in my mind we’d get renewed but I sure am happy to have it be official.
Agreed 100%!

MysteryKat25ParticipantI think Granny, Red, and the dwarfs + Anton will stay behind.
The people going are all related to Henry and the ones who aren’t directly related to him have a strong connection to the family and can help (ie: Belle being there for Rumple + she’s practically Henry’s step-grandmother, and Hook having known Bae in the past and wanting to help his son + his has the ship for them to use + he was involved with Henry’s grandmother as awkward as that is for me to admit, so…they’re all connected back to Henry). The rest can stay and protect the citizens of SB for them while they’re gone.

This could be really good guys!
OK, OK, it is a longer break more than likely between the first part and the last of the regular OUAT season BUT
1) We do have to contend with a weird schedule because of the Olympics/Oscars
2) It would mean less erratic scheduling over all and actually get new eps every week
3) We’d have something to obsess over in a similar vein, even without all our usual characters, for the weeks over that break leading to…
4) We’d ONLY have a break from this kind of thinking, theorizing, speculating, and TV watching fun during the Summer!OK, so the summer is long and scary I agree…but doesn’t this back to back to back stuff sound amazing??
They’ve said that OUATIW will have shorter seasons / mini-arcs so they should wrap up pretty fast together, we might see occasional favorites from the OUAT world if they happened into Wonderland at a time AND we get to have a similar line of thinking on all of it instead of having to wait all of those weeks in between with absolutely NOTHING to watch and obsess over. We’d have the same number of weeks off as before for OUAT but we’d get an extra half season of OUATIW as well as no breaks between OUAT eps…that’s gotta count for something!
*crosses fingers that the Oncer family really loves it and shows support so the network knows how beloved Once is and that we are a powerful fandom + drag in new people that are only interested in Wonderland because it’s also it’s own thing*

The SleepingWarrior thing was mostly the fans, and I agree. Philip and Aurora were obviously canon.
Man. Their names are hard to combine. PrinceBeauty? Philora?
They are! Man, you’d think we’d know this one by now but they didn’t get a whole lot of time together and we were too busy speculating about “NYC guy” lol. Um…well so far I prefer Philora cause the other makes him sound…well, I don’t know quite how to describe that! Um…
Surely there’s something! She hasn’t been called anything like Briar Rose yet so we can’t even debate with nicknames really. Likewise he’s just Phillip and we can’t name him anything other than Prince. I guess SleepingPrince could work for multiple reasons but if he’s awake now they need something better than that lol.

MysteryKat25ParticipantI don’t think they’ll start with a whole new cast as they would lose the fanbase that is already super dedicated. That doesn’t close the door to meeting other fairy tale characters along the way and they’ve been pretty good about doing that only in so far as it relates to the core cast in some way, shape or form. I agree, only Red is going anywhere (and she’s hanging out with Sawyer – can’t say I blame her 😉 ).
As for the ABC PR department….other than blatantly obvious promos like showing Whale = Frankenstein…I can’t say that I trust them about anything. If you go back and rewatch any of their promos for new characters especially, they’re absolutely absurd! I swear they go off of what they think it will be and pay no actual attention to anything other than the character name and then they just make stuff up.
I do vaguely remember that Season 2 thing and I’m not really sure what to think of it now. The first 2/3 are easily added to any season really. The last part I’m…stumped. Maybe I need to start my season rewatch cause I wasn’t as good about rewatching every ep multiple times like last year but the fact that nothing is coming to mind is a litttttle disconcerting, regardless of my trust level with anything say.

MysteryKat25ParticipantWe are a little crazy but it’s fun! And yes we use the word ship for relationship.
Honestly we’ve seen TLK word for Phillip & Aurora and they’re Disney-canon so I’m not sure why they even tried to imply that any other relationship was real in that so we need Shang to show up so that Mulan can be happy and we can all move on with our Disney-approved couplings (especially since TLK worked in this scenario, otherwise that goes against the show).
That being said…some people do ship Mulan & Aurora (SleepingWarrior) and I have no idea what Phillip / Aurora, Phillip / Mulan are…we really should decide on Phillip / Aurora because that is canon as far as I am concerned and doubly so (TLK + Disney). People will ship what they want to whether there are huge reasons to or not but I think in this case the triangle isn’t much of a triangle and there’s no point in making it one.
We had Snow / Charming / Abigail & their counterparts last year, the closest we’ve gotten to this year is MAP but in both cases we already knew what was set in stone so not too big of a deal in either case.
The interesting one for next season will be Hook / Emma / Neal and that’s the only one (so far) NOT set in stone.
I can see why most of the ships on the show occur, even if some have a bit more merit (read as Disney-canon, something shown on the show paralleling it etc etc) than others. I even understand why some of the more far-reaching ships happen whether I agree with them or not. To each their own.

Happy Endings means end of show, so I hope not!
I think S2 was more about what happens when you bring magic to our world.
I think S3 will be more about redemption for Regina, Rumple and Hook.Agreed and YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY for season 3!
