Yay! Thanks for finding that. Hmm, apparently all the sinister lost boys wear hoods. Interesting. Wondering if it’s like a weird cult thing or if it’s just drafty there. (I’m leery of “sinister” lost boys that steal children in the night and make them cry…but if it makes hook the hero of the story I look forward to watching and presumably Bae fix it and make all of it better)!
As for the floor them *ahem* – sadly yes…although perhaps when he was still in his pirating days (this is early NL for him for sure) he was a little bit…less in love with the floor, shall we say? One can only hope. He’s a PIRATE and a CAPTAIN at that…enough with the floor! (Though I didn’t mind the floor sneak peak too much…he was fighting and fighting hard to get something for the good guys – I can work with that because he’s clearly chosen a side and it’s the right side! No messing around with words, making broken promises (his comment of being absolutely on board with GOAT was sooo transparent that he wasn’t interested in working with them), etc. Hook is finally going to help – I’m sure that’s how they get a bean.
RG – all very good questions. Hmm….I guess part of it depends on what kind of conversations he’s been having with Hook up to this point. Based on the fact that it looks like he’s hiding from them, perhaps with Hook’s help, I’d say he doesn’t go willingly unless given a very good reason. Kinda like with the shadow thing, he didn’t go until Wendy’s brothers were in danger. My question is…how did they get him if Hook did a good job of hiding him…and if they did get him then how does he end up back with Hook? (We have to see him learn to drive the ship etc…)
I do think whatever it is will parallel with Henry’s storyline though, which could explain why poor Henry is being kidnapped in the first place, to parallel his dad.

MysteryKat25ParticipantAww RG, yeah some of these threads have gotten massive!
I debated the club idea for about 2 seconds and then was like really? You’re pointing a club at a pirate? (And a pirate with a hook no less! + a sword…)
Plus the thing looks a little more intricate than a normal club but that could just be me.

I’m still waiting for Hook to say he threw that fight and was expecting to jump down the portal WITH Emma and Snow had a certain blonde not knocked him out at a most inopportune moment, forcing him to use his backup plan with the bean and having to work with Cora to get the proper directions to get there. *sigh*
PLEASE say that he threw the fight…pretty please??
Yes, pleaeeease????? There are so many things wrong with that swordfight otherwise.
Tidbit: Someone in a YT video comment section said that putting the sword down on the ground (during the fight scene right after Emma showed him she had the compass) suggests it was to help her get a leg up in the fight. Apparently, it’s only an advantage to put the sword down like that if the opponent does not have a weapon.
Interesting, good to know!
I will laugh so much if they explain that that happened though (we may not get it this season but hopefully by the start of next…) since so many people mocked Hook for that scene. I love the gifs it gives us because of all the Tangled stuff but other than that it just doesn’t make sense.

But why would Felix just leave if he suspects Bae is hidden below deck? If he’s that scared of Hook, would he even attempt magic in the first place? And if he has magic, couldn’t he just magic Hook onto the floor.
The staff may have acted like a magnet, pulling Bae upwards and then Bae held on from there. That foot in the side is still bothering me but perhaps Felix went downstairs, looked around, didn’t see him and went back upstairs, heard a noise, looked around, but then gave up?
That would explain both how Bae got to the ceiling and why it looks like Felix’s leg climbing down into wherever Bae is hiding. I’m not sure Hook would have had enough time to get him down there, lift him up, tell him to stay, go back upstairs, chat away with Felix for a bit (you know how Hook is with the chattiness) and poor Bae is STILL hanging on for dear life? Gosh I hope not, poor kid has been through enough!

Not that it wasn’t funny and all (SO many Tangled parallels – frying pan anyone??) but uh…poor Hook. Emma’s a quick learner and it’s in her blood and all but he’s a pirate and he never really wanted to hurt her anyway or I’m sure he could have.
I NEED them to address some of this stuff because he needs to explain how he got roped into working with Cora (stalk the beanstalk much Cora??) because he did try to kill her before she vanished and then she was basically watching him like a hawk the rest of the time and almost killed him.

MysteryKat25ParticipantThat’s what I keep coming back around to RG which is why I was hoping the explanation made some sense in there somewhere. He may have just picked him up but the poor kid has to stay up there during the whole conversation if he’s to get away from Felix and whoever’s foot that is in the window (that could be Felix entering maybe??).
I sure couldn’t do it. Dylan’s been such an awesome actor though I’m surprised it doesn’t really look like he’s straining so I’m hoping that there’s some pixie dust involved in there somewhere (maybe Smee had some? Mr. procurer of objects?) Either that or Bae is just fantastic at hiding in strange places – who knows maybe he’s had some practice with it in the 6 months before he found the Darlings.
Also – these are stills…the stills don’t usually show much of the magical special effects do they? I mean an occasional glowing heart or something but anything big and new isn’t normally seen, right? *tries to remember*
Oooo Phee that’s an excellent idea! I like that. Then it would look as if he was just being held up by something that isn’t himself (which the actor is but he shouldn’t be unless magic is involved). It ties together the staff idea AND that weird look Felix is giving when he turns around as if he’s sure he was there!
See, we did get somewhere positive with crazy theories lol.

MysteryKat25ParticipantSorry about that obisgirl! It’s one of those things where you describe people instead of name them and those can get confusing! It’s like that Emma meme of that awkward moment when… (I need to find it, it was season 1 but it had all of her relationships mashed together).
And I completely agree 1 million % on everything under the spoiler tag. 😀
Keeper of Hook's Trenchcoat.
MysteryKat25ParticipantI agree on that RG, the actor is definitely harnessed in but so far Dylan has been spectacular. I can’t imagine that his direction was to pretend like he was straining to stay up there and hold on and then we see him just hanging up there.
On the other hand it is a still shot so perhaps he was moving around to get better footing at the time or something. Who knows. (I NEED CONTEXT)
I’m happy the idea is at least branching out to other ideas! Hook having pixie dust but not in the necklace, Hook lifting Bae up (which explains how he got there if he wasn’t levitated) cause that’s a scene I’d love to see, etc etc. This is why I love crazy theories – they’re usually grounded in at least some small kernel we can use to further a real idea along. 🙂
I’m also loving that people are drooling over Colin outside of a pro-Hook or pro-CaptainSwan thread 😀
Staring at Colin’s chest to figure out pendants, the things we do for clues! (It’s a tough job but somebody has to do it!) 😉
Oh hmm, the staff thing….well he could have put him up there so he wouldn’t have to be bothered with him but didn’t the press release say something about the lost boys being after Bae? Why wouldn’t they just take him then? I really really want to know what is actually going on but I like the staff idea. I don’t want Hook to let anything happen to him though – and I don’t think he will

MysteryKat25ParticipantI’ll have to add that to my list to watch! I missed a few years when they didn’t seem as good as the ones that were out when I was a kid.
I know enough to remember thinking that the gypsy Regina killed in her training session looked a lot like Esmerelda, but I figured that someday the actual Esmerelda would show up and have a grudge because Regina killed her ___ insert relation here, family, friend, whatever she was way back when (cause otherwise that seems really random to bring her in for that scene and make her look obviously like a gypsy unless that’s the only nod they ever meant to include – or if it’s long after Esmerelda’s story which…I don’t know yet!)
*adds to movies-to-watch list*
Keeper of Hook's Trenchcoat.
MysteryKat25ParticipantI certainly couldn’t hold myself up there even if somebody picked me up to reach in the first place, especially long enough for Hook to then proceed to have a conversation with Felix (and there’s a foot coming in the window I swear it, there’s more people there)…I just…I can’t see how he could do that unless he’s done it before and it certainly does not look like he is straining to hold himself up (I realize the actor is harnessed in but I’m gonna have to agree with Phee on the feet thing)
