MysteryKat25Participant
I thought the bubble extended a ways away and we only saw Hook and Cora where it started but it would have affected that entire section of the EF and not send them to SB. After 2×18 airs I’m gonna do my season rewatch to gear up for the finale but I was thinking the bubble stopped that whole section of the EF from being transported to SB which included Mulan, Aurora, etc. Guess we need to find somebody who for sure remembers!

MysteryKat25ParticipantIt looks in some of the pictures like they’re all getting along (NealFire, Henry, Emma, & Tamara) and they’re showing her the book. Why are they showing her the book?!?!?
I guess NealFire still plans to marry her and wants her to be included in things…that should throw a few wrenches into things. Wonder what her reaction to it all will be and what consequences telling her everything will have.

MysteryKat25ParticipantI think they meant replacement in Neverland since he’s been gone for almost 30 years (he was in EF under the bubble from the curse and now in SB).
So excited to see Neverland and the fact that the lost boys are being set up for recurring status means we should be getting lots of it instead of just a little flashback, yay!

MysteryKat25ParticipantForgot about the enhanced versions of episodes! Definitely looking forward to those and seeing what random bits of trivia they give us in the popups. Should be fun (I love behind the scenes stuff, I’m one of those people who listens to audio commentaries etc so I have high expectations they’ll give us some good info on stuff, even if it doesn’t help us figure stuff out as much as how things were done maybe).

MysteryKat25ParticipantI just hope that this year’s specials make sense and stick with canon. Anybody else remembering last year when Sidney narrated and they called Regina & Mal sisters and Charming James when they were talking about the wrong one? *sigh*
Wonder who actually puts all of that together cause I’m guessing the promo people and not the showrunners, it was too bizarre and while it tried to help I think it just confused some people more. Hopefully it will be very well-done this time and maybe grab some new people who will go back and watch and figure it out instead of just memorizing the special.

MysteryKat25ParticipantI’m still going with NealFire Pan but I do think that Hook was once a Lost Boy himself perhaps. I think that making Bae be Peter, there’s a lot more option for storytelling involving their past rather than just showing Peter once in a Hook flashback and then never using that as more of the reason for potential conflict between Peter & Hook (it makes more sense if Bae is Peter).
Typically Peter is the one to cut off Hook’s hand but in this case it was Rumple – it would make sense that if Hook can’t get to Rumple, he’d possibly go after his son (or show mercy because he’s a part of Milah; or not even know who he is until later on and get along with him before that and then turn against him; who knows).
Either option I’m looking forward to and it would certainly be a twist. Bring on Neverland!
As for Bae being too many things…look who his dad is! It runs in the family I’m afraid (poor Henry, the things he has to look forward to from that side *sigh*).

MysteryKat25ParticipantI would hazard a guess that if a lot of the stuff takes place in Neverland that a lot of it would be on green screen / kept out of the public eye as much as possible. So it’s probably a good thing we haven’t seen much, it’ll be more of a surprise that way. Can’t imagine we’re going to see the finale with those names and NOT have Captain Hook in it. And yes Adam was working on the finale writing just recently so I doubt they’ve started filming that yet, it takes time to set these things up!

MysteryKat25ParticipantI think the short version of that is in a clip on youtube called “The Courtship of Mary Tudor” – I couldn’t figure out for the longest time why people were shipping Hook with Aurora (I firmly believe that Phillip can be saved and we know he’s her true love) and then somebody mentioned their episode of the Tudors. Interesting stuff.
OUAT is the first thing I’ve ever seen Colin in but definitely a fan!

MysteryKat25ParticipantIs it possible it was just August being worried about seeing his dad again / feeling guilty about letting him down? He seemed to struggle with that the whole episode until the end when he & Marco finally had a chat about August letting his dad down a long time ago and wanting to make up for it.
If I recall somebody turned the CC on for that conversation and it was something about August’s relationship trouble with his dad and if that’s the case, the “Mother Superior” wouldn’t have been lying when she mentioned it to Rumple as well – which made him believe it was Bae and not Pinocchio.
Perhaps it was a setup knowing Rumple would be within earshot – to help cement the Bae idea in his head, or, more likely, that August was being crushed under the weight of the guilt and needed somebody to talk to.
August is a writer which means he’s probably very careful with his wording on things. He told Mother Superior nothing incriminating and it played into Rumple’s hands perfectly, though I still think he was mostly there for his issues with Gepetto.
As for what seems likely to happen in this ep…I’m torn. Too many times have I wished to see _____ (pick somebody) back or have more focus or something only to have it all turn out wrong. We’ll see what actually happens but if she does what we think she will be doing…then on the bright side it’s somebody Henry’s age for him to be friends with? But boo to what we all have reason to think happens. (We need context!!!)
Dark fairies have been mentioned a few times but Blue is supposedly good so I’m not sure if we’ve even seen any (does Mal count?). Still need to learn where Snow got the dust.
Also…little concerned because this ep will be taking us to another long break so whatever happens needs to be good so people are anxious to come back. *fingers crossed it plays out better than we’re thinking right now – and more than likely it will, we just need context*

MysteryKat25ParticipantIf Rumplestiltskin can win us over by loving Belle, I’m sure given enough time Hook can win over some people as well. And yes, Colin is absolutely amazing in the role.
