They once said they would not go into mythology … and where are we now?
When did they say that?? We had mythology as early as S1 with King Midas.
I really doubt Hades is Baby Pistachio’s father. The timing doesn’t add up.
Might have been a TWITTER response once way back when I was on twitter a lot…. I also vaguely remember it being in a interview ….. I do know other podcasters have made the same comments about ONCE being on mythology. And I think it was in response to questions about KING MIDAS that they said ONCE would not be going into mythology.
But I stand by my statement A&E try really hard to avoid revealing good guesses.

THE THING is I never believe what A&E say in these interviews because they twist the answers and it comes out later as a diversion as we watch the show…. They once said they would not go into mythology … and where are we now?

.Hades went to a lot of trouble to hide his story from the heroes–a story that apparently involves Zelena of all people! What do you think happened between the Lord of the Underworld and the Wicked Witch?
Are we going to see anything in Hades’s story that is traditional? (ie: is Zelena a stand-in for Persephone?)

That the afterlife is individualized…this maybe a problem when you think long term wise if you really think about it…say for instance that Emma’s happy ending is with her family, but Hook’s happy ending is on the seas with his brother…so these apparent “true loves” will just be separated in different realms for all of eternity? Or is all of the afterlife in one big world that has everything.
I like the idea of the afterlife being individualized to the person. Why should people of other cultures be forced into the GREEK/ EUROPEAN idea of the afterlife? Do people of Asian, Native American, Indian beliefs not have their own versions of the after life? Henry SR was of European extraction but I am also assuming of GERMAN / GRIMM religious beliefs … he looked like he went into the light / up to Heaven. Hercules went to Olympus … A sailor would want to be at sea. AS for TRUE LOVE pairing I think their Heaven will be a place that is special to them if they are destine to be together…. I think it will be determined by how they live their lives.

I did not realize that ONCE was having an episode this Sunday as I thought they would have THE TEN COMMANDMENTS per their usual …. GdS coming to stay the night … we will watch ONCE together.

.I could swear the BAE bitten by the snake was about 4-early 5 years of age. And the BAE Mihla abandoned was about 6 years of age. …. but I could be totally wrong.
Chinatown? Do you think they’re going to bring back the Dragon that August met in Selfless, Brave, and True?
*Eagerly waits for the show to resurrect the Dragon with some handwaving mumbo jumbo about how all dead characters are dead, except that some are deader than others.*
I actually don’t think they would bring back the Dragon — but perhaps a distant relative? A nephew? I bet you’re right, though, that there will be a tie-in.
The kid that would find customers for the DRAGON would be someone who could have taken over as a disciple or student. That could revive the story / plot … a young dragon instead of an old guy.
