@obisgirl are you posting it here?

    Here you go!

I keep finding little things I love about the season three finale and here’s another one: in the season two finale, Emma offered Hook a chance to be a part of something.

    The direct quote was:

“So… you can join us and be a part of something, or you can do what you can do best and be alone.” (And Straight On ‘Til Morning, 2×22).

Emma was offering Hook a chance not to be alone, to be a part of a team, do good and really, a chance to start over and prove himself a hero.

And then, we got a beautiful parallel in the season three finale, except instead of Emma offering Hook a chance to be a part of something, Hook came to her and asked her, what she thinks she is a part of:

Emma: I was never a part of any of this.
Hook: Then what are you a part of, Swan?

Emma doesn’t know herself. Because even though she has her parents and Henry, she’s never been a part of the fairytale.

She’s always been an outsider of sorts when it comes to the fairytale world. The first time she went there back in season two, she was completely out of her element and had no idea what she was doing most of the time.

But the key thing here, is that Emma could be a part of something big, bigger than fairytales. She could play an important part in someone’s life (Killian’s) but she’s scared to let her heart love again. But she needed to experience the fairytale aspect, so she could realize that she could believe in happy endings and true love and she could have it all, everything she ever wanted. All Emma needed to do was stop running and accept that Storybrooke, her parents, Henry and Killian is her home.

And she didn’t need to look for happiness in New York because what she has in Storybrooke, though based on fantasy, it’s real.

I just wrote a meta about the similarity of those two lines earlier this evening.

Yes, sad but true. If the fallout from this is a “it’s no big deal” reaction from Belle next season, I might be done with her character altogether.

Because I am expecting a major fallout from this because this scene in the jail demonstrated that it isn’t just one lie anymore, it’s going to keep stacking up and get bigger, and bigger until Rumple can’t keep lying anymore.

And then very bad stuff is going to hit the fan.

I really don’t want to see Regina revert to her Evil Queen ways especially when she’s come so far as a character this past season but taking into account that she doesn’t know the current status of her relationship with Robin and that Rumple killed her sister, I can’t not see her having some kind of meltdown and lashing out on people.

But again, I hope Regina deals with everything that happened to her in a mature manner instead of lashing out.

I had a thought about season two, if Colin hadn’t broken his leg what the story would have been like.   With the introduction of Neal as Emma’s baby daddy, we probably would have gotten some sort of love triangle.  And I remembered, we sorta of had a very brief love triangle in the Enchanted Forest with Aurora/Phillip/Mulan and I wonder if that was meant to parallel Neal/Emma/Hook in some manner?

    What do you guys think?

I think what we should do, is create a giant gif spam of this kiss and put on the first post of this thread.

Someone made a beautiful Killian and Emma fan video featuring my favorite Bryan Adams song, ‘Everything I Do (I Do it for You’).

How to make Chocolate Bowls with Balloons.

    Ingredients

    • 10 ounces finely chopped dark chocolate, divided
    • Small balloons, filled with air
    1. Grease a cookie sheet or line it with parchment paper.
    2. Place 5 ounces of the chocolate in a heatproof bowl set over a pan of simmering water. Stir until completely melted. Remove it from heat and stir in the remaining 5 ounces chocolate until thoroughly smooth. Spoon 1/2 teaspoon melted chocolate onto prepared pan to form a small disk.
    3. Make sure the chocolate has cooled, otherwise the balloon will pop if it is too warm.
    4. Dip the balloon into the disk of chocolate, coating about a third of the balloon. Place the dipped end of the balloon on the chocolate disk. Repeat with remaining chocolate and balloons. Place in the refrigerator to set, about 30 minutes.
    5. In order to release the air from the balloon, pinch the balloon just under the knot and cut a small hole in the surface between fingers and knot. Very gradually release air; if air is released too quickly, the bowls may break. Carefully peel the deflated balloons from the chocolate bowls.
