ParticipantWhich makes me wonder, is the book only created in Dark Curses? Does that mean it can only be destroyed by a Curse?
I think the book only appears when it is needed. That’s what it looked like to me. Emma didn’t see the book but once Snow started looking, it suddenly appeared. Emma at that point in the episode, still wanted to go back to New York and forget about everything.
To answer your second question, I don’t think the book is ever destroyed. The book is magic. It disappears and reappears when it’s needed. I like that better than someone made it actually. Because if a person made the book, it makes the book less powerful.

ParticipantIf it David’s father’s name, I’m fine with that. I’ve always wondered who he is. If it’s a boy. 😉

ParticipantI just made a post about this on my tumblr blog that “As far as the Snowing baby is concerned, I’m hoping he or she will be like Emma, where whoever the kid is, it’s going to be an original character. Don’t make the a character we already. Give the child his or her own identity unique to the Once universe, like Emma.”
And now, I’m reading, this kid is probably or maybe have some tie to some character we’ve already met. Hopefully, only in name. Give the child some identity separate from Disney and other myths, legends or fairytales that we’re familiar with.

ParticipantI didn’t like Spike in Buffy, and definitely was not a Spuffy ‘shipper but the way I think of Spike and Hook being similar is through their character progression throughout both series.
Both started out with a singular goal, to kill someone. With Spike, it was kill the Slayer which was every vampire’s goal on the show but with Spike, I don’t know, he seemed more heavily invested in it throughout most of the series. Then, Spike realized he was in love with Buffy and actually his first love, Drusilla knew this long before he did and Spike he behaved a lot of the time like a teenage boy around Buffy and Buffy didn’t notice or even realize for a long time that Spike was in love with her.
Then, there was soul bit that that totally changed Spike’s character in the last season and really, opened Buffy’s eyes and give him a second chance, even though he had previously hurt her. With the return of Spike’s soul, he regretted a lot what he had done, similar to think Hook probably felt in this season.
Again, I was not a Spuffy ‘shipper and not a fan of Spike, but I do appreciate his character arc since it is similar to what Hook’s gone through.

ParticipantSomeone should just ask Adam on twitter.
But I like the theory because Zelena tampered with the curse, that it had to be Regina to break it.

ParticipantAnother way to think about it is that TLK at least when it comes to parents and their children cannot be repeated with the same parent because they already established true love.
And Henry has more than one mom. He has Regina too. Story aside they did truly love each other and while we didn’t see a safety valve moment in fairy tale land Regina’s sadness over her separation was also a part of her arc.
Does that make sense?

ParticipantI have two favorite moments.
1 – Snow and Charmings goodbye before Snow crushed his heart. That was very beautiful and did anyone notice the background music was from the winter finale? I liked that and seeing Regina’s reaction to their goodbye. Like I think Regina started to appreciate true love again.
2- when Snow pleaded with Regina to split her heart and save Charming. Very powerful scene. It spoke to the growing trust between them, the worry in Regina that Snow might die. But Snow has complete faith in her that she can do it and it will save Charming.
least favorite was the actual heart splitting. I’ll be honest when I watched with my boyfriend we both laughed and continued to poke fun of it during commercials.
It reminded me of twisting Oreo cookies and the heart was evenly split too which was silly. There were no seams on protruding edges; everything was perfect.
Another favorite moment was Regina’s true love kiss was Henry.
