Did you guys see Ginny’s new countdown pic?
This might be from the Blackbeard episode because Jen’s wearing the same shirt from the behind the scenes pic with Colin and the guy who plays Smee.
I don’t think it was disrespectful and hating on Adam and Eddie isn’t fair either. Remember the awful character posters for 3A? ABC has its own marketing/art department and remember, they work on art for all of their shows.
The poster reflects the direction of the story going into 3B, which is Regina vs. the Wicked Witch. This is not new information.

The very contradictory part about fans calling a certain ‘ship fan service and then crying fowl when a certain character or two isn’t featured on a certain 3-panel poster promoting 3B, is actually the definition of fan service.
And Adam’s said repeatedly on twitter that he doesn’t cater to fan service. He and Eddie write a story and generally, does not think of Emma’s love life as a love triangle but a journey she’s on towards finding her happy ending.
So, I’ll repeat, if you don’t like the story, quit watching. No one forces you to watch something you’re not happy with.
I’ll also, add, this show isn’t just about one or two characters. It’s an ensemble cast and because it is an ensemble cast, not every character is going to be featured. And quite honestly, we knew the spoilers going into 3B, who is and isn’t going to be featured heavily.
It makes sense seeing the Wicked Witch and Rumple on the third. We knew that 3B was going to be about Regina’s rivalry with her, and WW has control of Rumple. So, the third pane, seeing what it is, makes sense to me storywise..
That’s the thing to remember, Adam and Eddie write a story. Relationships are a part of that but isn’t ALL of it. This story is also about the characters. I fell in love with the story first before anything else. I didn’t ‘ship anything heavily until Skin Deep.
And Adam and Eddie have very little control over the promotional department at ABC. I think we all know that from the awful character posters for 3A.
